The actor who had also suffered a shoulder injury found herself in the bottom two alongside Aarti Chabbaria.

They started on a subdued note but went on to raising the bar with commendable performance with each passing week. Their act on wheels and the fusion act were the ones most loved and appreciated by the audiences as well as the jury.

The vote out this weekend was a tough decision for the jury with two of the most hard-working contestants with severe injuries in the bottom two. Reluctantly and with a heavy heart the jury members took a tough call basis both their performances which were showcased beautifully despite their injuries, Ekta was then voted out.

On her elimination, Ekta Kaul said, “This was the first time I have ever tried dancing in my life and that too on a national platform like Jhalak. I am disappointed to be eliminated at this stage after five weeks but it has been the best learning experience of my life and I am taking back a lot with me”.
