‘Kuch Pyaar Ka Paagalpan Bhi Tha’ marks the reunion of the creative team, part of the super-hit show ‘Waqt Ne Kiya Kya Haseen Sitam’, where the famous trio of Fawad Khan, Sanam Baloch and director Haissam Hussain have made history with a gripping story set against the backdrop of the pre-independence era. This time, the team comes together to create magic on the small screen with a light hearted drama series that revolves around the lives of four pivotal characters – Mujtaba (Fawad Khan), Kiran (Sanam Baloch), Daniez (Ayesha Khan) and Shamrez (Mikaal Zulfiqar).

On his arrival in America, he is shocked by the cultural divide and the way his uncle’s family including his cousin Daniez treat him. Mujtaba, coddled by his mother, believes that as he is his uncle’s nephew he will get everything handed to him on a silver platter not realising that it is only hard work that pays. The female lead Kiran, played by Sanam Baloch dreams of finding true love and wants to escape from her cruel family. Kiran is hard working, she works two jobs to be able to make ends meet. While trying to help Mujtaba to adapt to living in a foreign country, Kiran unknowingly falls in love with him.
