TAM RATINGS Week 45, 2014: Colors continues to rise

After a good show where all the general entertainment channels (GECs) witnessed a rise in the viewership, week 45 of TAM TV ratings had a different story to tell. Most of the GECs observed a fall in the ratings.

The only channels to see a growth was Colors while Life OK remained stable. Colors continued its strong hold at number two with 486 million GVTs, up from 457 million GVTs. Life OK at number five stood at 305 million GVTs.

Amongst the losers this week, the numero uno Star Plus observed a significant fall and reported 610 million GVTs, down from 655 million GVTs. Zee TV at number three recorded 394 million GVTs, down from 405 million GVTs.

Despite a drop, Sab enjoyed its position at number four with 285 million GVTs, down from 307 million GVTs.

Sony Entertainment Television (SET) delivered 245 million GVTs, down from 285 million GVTs.

On the other hand, Big Magic saw a marginal growth with 69 million GVTs, up from 56 million GVTs.

Rishtey saw its ratings dip from 50 million GVTs in week 44 to 44 million GVTs in week 45.

Zindagi and Sony Pal shared the shared the same spot and viewership with 31 million GVTs.

Sahara One saw its ratings stay the same in week 45 from the previous week at 10 million GVTs.

  1. COLORS hitting on more TV sets because of Bigg Boss, Life OK some how manage to get the previous number. Rest all broadcasters are facing downfall because of their individual rifts with operators.
