Today is Vvaibhavs’ last day in Mastek. I am not very good with words especially in times like these, I want to tell Vvaibhav what a wonderful colleague and friend he is. In the seven months I knew him, he was always there to support others. He had a way of lifting your spirits when you needed it. It showed that he truly cared for the people around him.
I have a hard time saying goodbye, because I think saying Good Bye means Going away, and going away means forgetting. I am usually one of the last ones to leave a party (…I am nt a party animal, I rarely go to parties)and my “good byes” tend to turn into 20-minute long conversations(….some of my frnds calls me chit chat box). Perhaps, this is why I was not there in Vvaibhavs farewell party.
I won’t forget all of the valuable moments we spent together esp. in bus. We used to play Dumb Charades, and Vvaibhav is famous for giving famous weirdest home production movies like ‘Pappu Sapola’, ‘Basanti ki shaadi aur gabbar ka honeymoon’, ‘Aids wala darinda’, ‘Mugliyai chandal’ etc etc etc.
It is very hard to say good bye to you. But a farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments or lifetime, is certain for those who are friends.
