I don't think any political party were remotely present when the attacks took place. I personally don't think we need to condemn him for what he did cause even if he was not partying he would not be able to do anything about the terror attack. I feel we need more youth to get into politics - maturity in decision and behavior will come with time. Its sad that politics is one area that is totally contanimated with dirty games played. But the youth of today can bring about the change.

I don't think it was anything wrong that he was doing. It was his childhood friend's wedding or whatever be the occasion, that's his personal life. It was his decision and one that does not and should not affect other people. Consider this, you have worked on a project, that goes live, but you are enjoying your best friend's wedding function, will you leave the function and go fix something if you're asked to? I wouldn't. Being party General Secretary is his job just like writing code and supporting it is yours. So he is as human being as us and has every right to enjoy his personal life and take his own decisions in such situations. If we do not consider politics as a serious "profession", how do you expect the politicians to do so!
but thn why does he need to act n show false regard n concern by visiting n eating in a poor Indian's hut?? if he's nt concerned its ok but pretending smthng tht's nt true makes him a hypocrite. enjoy,party,do whtevr u wish but thn at election time don't come begging fr votes. thr r people dying to save us civilians, young,bright,intelligent people in th forces n he says he cares for th plight of us Indians.
Ya agree with the above. I don't think he really meant any harm. The attacks were a tragedy but you cannot hold ur personal life hostage to that forever.

My friend lost his sister and brother-in-law in that incident.
Guys Meehir is not blaming on Rahul, he is just putting his view and I think he is right at his place. Put yourself in shoes of those who lost their near and dears in 26/11, then you will realize how much it hurts when they came to know that Rahul Gandhi is partying at the night of 26/11. He is not a normal man like you and me. He is public figure. If he can’t feel the pain on the night of 26/11 when not only Mumbaikars but peoples across the globe are feeling the ache, when I was crying with my pillow because my friend Ashsish’s sis and her husband are in Taj. If he says he is Janta Ka Numainda then he should be with Janta on that night(I am not talking about physical presence).
I don’t have any personal issues with Rahul neither I support Thackrecys (ohh god I don’t even know the spelling of Thackrey, don’t mind).And I think same is the case with Meehir.
I agree that Prince should party till 5:00 AM in morning for his childhood friend's wedding, when citizens of India showed up their feelings with candle lights. Prince was busy in ... toast for the long life of Kasab... and it was really important till 5:00 AM even 4th day after attack.
Only one question if Prince maker's mom Sonia Gandhi was in Hotel Taj, then still partying around would have been important for Prince on 4 th day after attack started.
I don't know about others but that terror attack embossed too many questions in my mind.
I am very sure Prince Rahul Gandhi is not aware about formation history and background of NSG (Just giving speech without using grey cells), NSG is Natonal level recruitment not only for one single state. Sandeep Unnikrishnan hails from a Nair family settled in Bangalore. And too many from different states including Maharashtra. I my opinion Rahul Gandhi should get his history updated about India and even Gandhis are yet to answer about Bofors (This is something in interest of Nation's security Scam). Just going on Explore India tour (Incredible India) in helicopter does not prove that Indian youth is impressed, I know after studing in abroad you are too keen in India tour.
