To attach and remove the datepicker to a control use below methods :-

Attach:
 jq(#dobDtpicker).datepicker();

Remove:
 jq(#dobDtpicker).datepicker("destroy");

Enable:
 jq(#dobDtpicker).datepicker('enable');

Disable:
 jq(#dobDtpicker).datepicker('disable');
