Bigg Boss 8 to replace Uttaran..

Color's is coming up with yet another season of Bigg Boss. The show is better known for its controversies and every year it succeeds in grabbing the eyeballs.

We heard, this year, there’s a change in the timing of the show and it will now be aired at 10.30 to 11.30 pm slot. That means it might replace Tina Dutta and Rashami Desai starrer show Uttaran. However, time slot is not yet finalized, the channel is also considering the 9:00-10:00 PM slot.

Currently host Salman is busy shooting for his upcoming film 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' in Karjat, that's why the new Big Boss house might be located at Karjat and not in Lonavala.

Some of the contestants in the running for this season are Model-turned-actor Upen Patel, Gurmeet Choudhary and wife Debina Bonnerjee, Shiney Ahuja, Nausheen Ali Sardar, Karishma Tanna, RJ Malishka, Ranvir Shorey, Shweta Salve, Rati Pandey, Mohit Malhotra, and AAP politician Kumar Vishwas.

Karishma and Upen had signed on the dotted line.

Actor Gaurav Chopraa was too is likely to be a part of the show, however it seems that the makers of Bigg Boss want him as a contestant only if his ex-girlfriend's Mouni Roy or Narayani Shastri agrees to be part of the show.

Also, Salman's  ex-co-star Inder Kumar and ex-girlfriend Sangeeta Bijlani were approached to participate in the show. Inder and Sangeeta had given green signal, but Kick Star will take the final call on this. The creative team is expected to meet him on August 15, 2014, after that they will finalise the list of contestants for season 8.
