Sonam Kapoor, who is regarded as the true fashionista of the Hindi film industry will be seen playing a renowned painter in an upcoming film.

If we believe the sources, Sonam has been approached to play Amrita Sher-Gil, who was an eminent painter of 20th century India and  was also the 'most expensive' woman painter at that time.
