It's very difficult to express your feelings through your eyes: Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar

Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar, who was last seen in Colors' Sanskaar-Dharohar Apnon Ki, will be soon seen in Rashmi Sharma's upcoming show 'Swaragini' on the same channel.  The pretty actress is playing the role of Ragini, who hails from a conservative and a protective environment. She lost her mother and resides with her father and grandparents.  We got in touch with Tejaswi to know more about the show and her character.

You are the first main lead that Colors has repeated.
It's not about repeating the person, it's about repeating the person in such a short span of time. I feel very lucky because the channel has confidence in me and it’s a huge responsibility to prove them right.

Tell us a bit about your character.
I am playing Ragini, who is a very quiet, humble and a disciplined person. She is very prim and proper, that is how she is taught to be.

We heard, all the decisions in Ragini's life were taken by her family.
Yes, starting from the choice of her friends to which school she would attend or to which man she would spend the rest of her life with, were taken by Ragini's family. She is very accepting and always listens to what her Dadi Maa, Dada or Papa has to say. She always believes in listening to the elders because they are more experienced than her.

Is there any similarity between you and Ragini?
We both are classical singer and I also belong to a family who live in a similar way like Ragini's family.

What made you say yes to Swaragini?
I loved the character of Ragini. She doesn’t talk much and communicates only through her eyes. To express your feelings through your eyes is very difficult and I find it challenging.
