Bless your money..this Diwali!

The festival of lights is just around the corner, and on the Diwali night the households will observe a special puja to invite Goddess Laxmi into their homes. The devotees pray and request the Goddess to lay her blessings on them, so that they accumulate more and more wealth. The angel therapy practitioner Himaanshu Shukla explains the gratitude practice which can be used to attract money on Diwali and shared a few powerful money affirmations to manifest wealth.

Himaanshu said, "Laxmi symbolizes wealth, prosperity and abundance, that's why on the occasion of Diwali we worship the Goddess to get her blessings for our financial well-being. But prayers will be incomplete without saying thanks to Laxmi Maa, for all the wealth she had given to us till now. When we are grateful, we activate the Law Of Attraction (LOA), which says that ‘like attracts like’. While doing the Diwali puja, before asking for more money, we should focus on abundance, rather than lack, then only we can attract more of what we really want. In turn, we’ll be releasing an unlimited flow of wealth, abundance and happiness in our life."

Bigg Boss 6 winner Urvashi Dholakia too believe in the power of gratitude, the pretty actress said, "I am grateful for whatever I have and whatever I have achieved till now, that's the reason I always start my prayer with a thanks."

The actress best known for her role as Komolika Basu in Kasautii Zindagii Kay further added, "The more you are grateful for what you currently have in life, the more doors will open for you, because you are thinking and speaking positively. During the Diwali puja, I say thanks to the Goddess Laxmi for providing me the strength, which I had all this while to make the money, and pray so that I can retain this strength."

When quizzed about the gratitude practice for Diwali, Himaanshu said, "On Diwali night, sit comfortably, take a few deep breaths to feel relaxed and then think about all the wealth you have. Think about all the investments you have made in the form of property, fixed deposits, mutual funds or insurance, think about the money you have spent on your family's well-being or to educate your kids, think about all the liquid assets you have, and say thank you. If you have hard money, hold it in your hand or move your hand on it and say thanks. Imagine positive energy flowing from your hands in the form of blessings, which is in turn absorbed by each and every penny. You are thanking God for the wealth you have in order to create more wealth. Now imagine whatever you have is growing and say thanks, this is called advance gratitude. This Diwali don't forget to do this exercise and bless your money. Because whatever you praise or bless increases, even if it's your money."

Blessing the money? Does it sound strange and weird? Himaanshu said, "It might look unusual to bless the money, but we have been doing it since ages. Don't we keep money, gold/silver coins, jewelry or account books on the altar and perform puja by sprinkling rice grains of rice, kumkum powder and Ganga jal over them? Like human beings, money is a spiritual force too, and all the laws of nature, such as the law of attraction are applicable on it. So if you want to increase the availability of money in your life you should start giving blessings to it. Loving, respecting, appreciating and blessing the money, will increase the flow of money."
Actor Namish Taneja, who is currently seen in 'Main Maike Chali Jaungi' also believes in blessing the money on Diwali. "I prefer not to crib or demand more wealth from the Goddess, and strictly refrain myself from saying sentences or phrases like, 'I don't have the enough money or I hope my money doesn't reduce'. These sentences have negative words like 'don't and doesn't', by using them we attract what we don't want. Instead of this I use affirmations, which Himaanshu has shared with me. 'Thank you Laxmi Maa, for all the money I've been given throughout my life,' is one of my favorite affirmations, which I use frequently," says the actor, who earlier did the shows like Ekk Nayi Pehchaan, Swaragini and Ikyawann.
