Translation and Lyrics of Van Van Bhatke Ram/बन बन भटके राम In Hindi and English

\

Aashram dekhi Janaki hina, bhaye vikal jas praakriti dina।।

Virah vyatha se vyathit dravit hoo,

Kunjan maahi na, sarita teere, virah vikal Raghuveer adheere,
Hey khag, mrig, hey madhukar shayani, tum dekhi Sita mrig-nayani?
Vriksh lata se, jaa se taa se, poochat dole Ram,

Van van bhatke Ram..
Apni Siya ko, praan priya ko,
pag pag dhoondhe Ram..

Phagun Janaki Sita, roop sheel vrat-neyam puneeta,

Shri Hari jyun Shriheen, Siya bin aise laage Ram
Virah vyatha se vyathit dravit hoo,
Van van bhatke Ram..
Apni Siya ko, praan priya ko,
pag pag dhoondhe Ram..

'Van Van Bhatke Ram' Translation In English..

When Ram saw the cottage without Sita, he became anxious like a mere mortal.

Shaken by the pain of separation,
Ram wanders through the forest
For his Sita, dearer to him than life itself,
Ram searches at every step..

She's not in the pathways, and not by the river, Ram is restless because of the pain of separation,
Oh crow, oh deer, oh honey bee, did you happen to see my doe-eyed Sita?
Ram asks this question to the trees and their branches..

Shaken by the pain of separation,
Ram wanders through the forest
For his Sita, dearer to him than life itself,
Ram searches at every step..

Oh, my infinitely virtuous Sita, pure in form and austere in conduct,
Whom he loved more than his life, Sita had never been apart from him,
As Lord Vishnu is without his splendor Lakshmi, so was Ram looking without Sita..

Shaken by the pain of separation,
Ram wanders through the forest
For his Sita, dearer to him than life itself,
Ram searches at every step..
