The 58-year-old comedian Raju Srivastav passed away a few days after being taken to the AIIMS in Delhi. His family has confirmed the same.
ANI tweeted, "Comedian Raju Srivastava passes away in Delhi at the age of 58, confirms his family. He was admitted to AIIMS Delhi on August 10 after experiencing chest pain & collapsing while working out at the gym."
Raju Srivastav, who has died aged 58, was an ace comedian and actor. He is best known for Hindi films such as Maine Pyar Kiya, Baazigar, the remake of Bombay to Goa, and Aamdani Atthani Kharcha Rupaiya.
He was a well-known figure in the entertainment business since the 1980s, shot to prominence in 2005 after taking part in the inaugural season of the reality stand-up comedy series The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.
