Abrar’s Entry Jamal Kudu Lyrics From Animal Movie

Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Animal' is supported by a stellar cast including Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Tripti Dimri along with Bobby Deol and Saurabh Sachdeva. The film has become a rage ever since its release, minted more than Rs 700 crore at the global box office.

Bobby Deol played the character of Abrar Haque in the movie. He enters the screen with the song ‘Jamal Kudu’ playing in the background, and ever since the movie was released this song has become a rage.

Jamal Kudu was first sung by Shirazi Choir of the Kharazemi Girls High School in the 1950s and over the years it has become a popular wedding song. 

I am not sure about the exact translation of Jamal Kudu in English, but the song’s hook line, "Jamal Jamalek Jamaloo Jamal Kudu" means "Oh my love, my beloved, my sweet love".

In short in the song, the lover is saying, "Oh! The black-eyed beauty, don’t break my heart with your brutality. Oh, you are leaving me to embark on a new journey and I am going crazy like Majnu. Don’t mess with my heart darling. You’re leaving me to go on a voyage and I’m going crazy like Majnu."
