Kajol's co-star Noor Malabika Das found dead in Mumbai home

Actress and former flight attendant Noor Malabika Das was found dead at her home in Mumbai, according to police reports. Known for her role in the web series 'The Trial' starring Bollywood star Kajol, Noor was discovered dead on June 6. The police believe it was a suicide, but they are still investigating.

The incident was discovered when neighbours in her Lokhandwala apartment complex noticed a foul smell and called the Oshiwara Police. The police broke into her apartment and found her decomposed body hanging from a ceiling fan.

After conducting the necessary procedures, the police tried to contact her family, but no one claimed her body. Her last rites were performed on Sunday. An officer mentioned that Noor's family had returned to their native place two weeks ago, and the investigation is ongoing.

Noor, 37, was from Assam and had starred in several Hindi web series, including Siskiyaan, Walkaman Upaya, and Charamsukh. She had a small role in Disney+ Hotstar’s The Trial. 

Her friend, actor Aloknath Pathak, expressed his sadness, saying he had known and worked with Noor for many years. He added that her family had been living with her in Mumbai until they went back to their village a week ago, leaving her in the rented apartment.
