Happy Birthday Dear Aaryan!!!...

Happy Birthday Dear Aaryan!!!...

Aaryan would have been 26 today had he not passed away nine years ago in much too young age in a tragic road accident.

The very first time I heard “Behti hawa sa tha woh...” song from 3 Idiots, I thought it was been written for Aaryan by Swanand Kirkire. Aaryan is carefree, fun loving, innocent, innovative, adventurous, and sometimes very mischievous. He was always there to cater to our every need. A very emotional guy.

He was like a flowing wind, like a soaring kite. While the paths always lead us, he always made his own path. Sometimes fell, sometimes balanced but always went ahead cheerfully. We were always worried about tomorrow, he always celebrated today, he lived every minute fully.

He was like shade in scorching sun, he was like an oasis in a vast desert. He was like the medicine for wounded heart.

We were limited to well. He will do somersault in the river, he used to swim against the waterfall. He was like a carefree cloud. He was our friend.”

It’s not only the English translation of “Behti hawa sa tha woh...”, it’s like someone is describing Aaryan.

I heard somewhere, “Friend ship is stronger than death even though it can’t stop death from happening, but no matter how hard death tries it can’t separate friends. It can’t take away our memories either. In the end, life is stronger than death.”

Sometimes I sit and remember his smile, his laughter, it not only brings tears to my eyes, but a smile to my heart also.
I feel my friend absence, but I continue to feel his presence whenever I close my eyes and aska "Aaryan, you there?" He always replies “Yes, I am always there for you brother!!!...”

Happy Birthday Brother! Today my eyes are wet with tears, but my heart is smiling!

Eternal rest grant unto Him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen…

Miss You Aaryan…

What to Do If You're Alone on Valentine's Day!!!...

So Valentine's Day is coming, many people spend Valentine Day with beloved one. Some lovers express their feeling to be loved ones, even if the Valentine Day is not only the day to celebrate love with lovers. Valentine Day is the day to remind us about universal love(… not only romantic love). It is the day to commemorate St.Valentine sacrifice for his faith to God and for conducting Marriage Sacrament.

While chatting with one of my chat friend Martha, I found out that she had recently broken up with her boyfriend. She was very sad about it, but she said something that almost slipped by me. She said the worst thing was that she would now be alone on Valentine’s Day. At the moment we were talking, I just expressed my sorrow over the breakup and ignored the comment about Valentine’s Day. We chatted for awhile and then I said bye to her because I have to leave office as we have last bus at 7:10 p.m.

By the time I got home, I realized I was furious at myself and at Valentine’s Day. This girl has great friends and a very loving family. Yet, on Valentine’s Day she planned to be alone. Why? She didn’t have boyfriend.

It made me angry that she would be alone just because she’s single. Personally, I think Valentine’s Day discriminates against singles! The majority of the marketing blitz for it emphasizes being in a love relationship with a partner. The message is that if you’re single, then you might as well forget Valentine’s Day.

Nowadays most people interpret Valentine Day as romantic day. Many couples celebrate it.

Some of those who are single are pathetic about this day. They feel alone like me and Martha. Maybe you just broke with your beau or got a divorce, maybe it's been months since you've had a lover, maybe you're partner is simply out of town. Whatever the reason, you're alone on the one holiday dedicated to togetherness. I've went through Valentine's day alone more than once! It is so depressing. You feel like it's a holiday that was invented to make people that are alone realize they are alone.

Wait a minute. What’s wrong with being single? Think about it. I’ve thought about it and it makes me wish I could repeat that conversation with my friend. If I could, here’s what I might have suggested to him:

Well, here are some tricks to cope with being alone on Valentine's day :

Tip 1

Go see a movie. Not a romantic, or romantic comedy. Go see a horror, a comedy or even an action movie, but nothing that will make you think of love. The goal here is to put your mind on something else.

Tip 2

Play some computer or video games. That is always a no-brainer, playing video games distracts you completely from the real world. Plus, you can actually court that hot virtual beauty from level 4.

Tip 3

Play sports. You'll clear up your mind, and you can even let go of all the stress and aggressively. Of course, miniature golf might not be the best idea

Tip 4

Order take out or eat at home. You don't need to go out to the restaurants and see all those couples kissing and groping, it will just depress you more.

Tip 5

What’s so important about having a partner, when you have supportive family members and/or friends who love you? Get together with the people who are important to you. Call your single friends. Chances are you're not the only person you know who is alone on Valentine's Day. Round up all your single friends and go out to a movie, have a fun dinner out, and then go dancing. It'll be exciting and everyone will have a great time on a not-so-great holiday for singles. If you and your friends wants to stay at home then rent some movies, order some pizza, and have a movie night at home. You and your friends will be able to laugh shamelessly at your favorite flicks, and you'll be able to hang out and have fun together in a more comfortable setting. take time to tell each person why they are special to you. And then they can tell you something special about yourself. That’s sharing Love. Have a group activity. Like Pictionary. I don't really like Pictionary, but you get what I mean, right?

Tip 6

Go out clubbing. Most probably, there will be other singles out clubbing, all as desperate as you are to find someone to be there Valentine. So this is a great night to maybe pick someone up.

Tip 7

Online dating. Same as the clubbing, Valentine’s day is full of singles on the dating scene, all those people feeling alone just like you. Hey, if you don't find someone, you'll at least talk to someone that is almost 99% sure!

Tip 8

Buy or make a valentine. Inside it write things you like about yourself and what makes you special. But don’t stop there, take the next step and mail this valentine to yourself. If Valentine’s Day is about love, then why not express the love you have for who you are and the person you’ve become. You don’t need someone else for that.

TIP 9

Okay, I know some of you are thinking that this is a selfish thing to do. But if you enjoy flowers, why shouldn’t you give them to yourself? Let them remind you of what you have accomplished or what you plan to accomplish in this coming year. If not flowers, then send yourself a different gift as a reminder that you ARE loved.

TIP 10

Think about what would make you feel good on Valentine’s Day. You might take your dog(…if you have) for a nice run in the park, surprise a lonely neighbor with a valentine, fix a favorite dinner and eat by candlelight or get in touch with an old friend. Doing something good for yourself or someone else is a wonderful expression of love and a great way to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

I missed my opportunity with my friend Martha as she is far away, but I get a second chance with those of you reading this article. Don’t dread Valentine’s Day if you’re single. Remember that love is more than just being a couple. Sure it’s nice to be with someone special, but if you’re not, it doesn’t mean you don’t have loving relationships.

Being alone on Valentine's Day can be a drag, but you don't have to be lonely on this day of love. This Valentine’s Day pay tribute to love. Celebrate the love of whomever gives you support a family member, the friend who’s always been there for you, or even your pets!!!

Cheers ,

So did you help in terrorism?...

I probably never wanted to cover a blog which consists of anything related to India and Pakistan hatred because I have so many close friends from Pakistan and the matter of the fact is despite of political differences there is no difference between us.

This blog is just for public awareness so that we can safeguard ourselves from any miss happening. Almost all of you download songs from the internet and if I ask from which site you download songs 90% of will say I download songs from songs.pk. If you are among the 90%, then have a look :

According to Reddif news(http://www.rediff.com/news/2009/jan/06mumterror-pakistan-india-hackers-internet-cyber-war.html ) Pakistani hacker websites are being used by 12 lakhs Indian user which is set up to take down Indian computer network. The big news is a website like songs.pk which is reportedly hosted by a hacker from Pakistan and is targeting Indian user.

Almost 12 Lacks Indian users are downloading songs from songs.pk on the daily basis.

Though Cyber war between India and Pakistan are not old. Last year, hackers from Pakistan targeted many Indian Orkut communities and Indian hackers targeted major Pakistan Orkut communities.

Though because of the India-Pakistan political boundaries this war seems to be endless, but for the public awareness do make sure that you stop downloading songs from virus infected websites like songs.pk

Songs.pk is the site of the same guy who has funmaza.com. Noton Safeweb has rated it infected, so now they developed new site songs.pk in the front line. Norton Safeweb scanner has been scheduled to scan sites so if you remove that malicious material from your web before scanning you will never caught but once you get caught like funmaza.com it will scan you almost every hour. You can check funmaza.com which also open as pop up on songs.pk at http://safeweb.norton.com/ .

Two more things I want to add is that , first of all pirated downloading is harming our Bollywood so say no to piracy. Second thing is if still you want to download pirated songs then download it from some Indian site. Because may be the money that is earned when we download a songs from songs.pk or mp3.taqaza.com or funmaza.com, is used in wrong activities. God knows may be we also contributed in the money that terrorist used in the terrorist attack on our Mumbai due to which our India found itself caught pants down, by downloading a song from songs.pk.

Confusion on Idiot box for you-2 : Rahul Mahajans' Swayamwar

There is Rahul Mahajan who has gone all out to share the most private moment of his life, well his private life anyways makes for good public consumption.

Rahul who has been in the eye of the storm for all the wrong reasons is wooed by 15 girls one of whom will ultimately marry him. Yes, unlike Drama queen Rakhi Sawant , he claims he will marry one of them and as for the girls, they don’t look like they care about his gloomy and misty past.

What is confusing is why would viewers want to see wannabe look-alikes of each other suck up to a loser like Rahul Mahajan, with kilos of foundation on his face, even lipstick too(…in one scene he used light orange lipstick…yes light orange :D)?

One cannot watch it beyond 10 minutes. How can anyone watch semi-clad girls trying to seduce a heavily pan caked Mahajan? But yes, viewers are condemning the show (….follow the Tweets) but tuning into it too!

Confused? You should…that’s Idiot box for you where you may not get all your answers but it still assures you that all ‘izz’ well.

Confusion on Idiot box for you-1 : Pavitra Rista

Last night in Pavitra Rishta-the serial which 'originates' from the original soap factory of Ekta's- Balaji Telefilms, a temple priest reprimanding the female lead Archana(Ankita Lokhande) about not wearing sindoor and mangalsutra when coming to the temple!!! If anyone have digested this bit there is more...pandit goes on to offer some sindoor to the man accompanying her and asks him to fill it in the girl's hair!!!

Confused? You should...that's Idiot box for you where you may not get all your answers but it still assures you that all ‘izzzz’ well.

Shall I write an email to Mrs. Pratibha Patil?...

One of my colleague  forwarded an email to me. That email was written by Pakstani journalist Dr Farrukh Saleem. Here is the email :

Here's what is happening in India :

The two Ambani brothers can buy 100 percent of every company listed on the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) and would still be left with $30 billion to spare. The four richest Indians can buy up all goods and services produced over a year by 169 million Pakistanis and still be left with $60 billion to spare. The four richest Indians are now richer than the forty richest Chinese.

In November, Bombay Stock Exchange's benchmark Sensex flirted with 20,000 points. As a consequence, Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries became a $100 billion company (the entire KSE is capitalized at $65 billion). Mukesh owns 48 percent of Reliance.

In November, comes Neeta's birthday. Neeta turned forty-four three weeks ago. Look what she got from her husband as her birthday present: A sixty-million dollar jet with a custom fitted master bedroom, bathroom with mood lighting, a sky bar, entertainment cabins, satellite television, wireless communication and a separate cabin with game consoles. Neeta is Mukesh Ambani's wife, and Mukesh is not India 's richest but the second richest.

Mukesh is now building his new home, Residence Antillia (after a mythical, phantom island somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean ). At a cost of $1 billion this would be the most expensive home on the face of the planet. At 173 meters tall Mukesh's new family residence, for a family of six, will be the equivalent of a 60-storeyed building. The first six floors are reserved for parking. The seventh floor is for car servicing and maintenance. The eighth floor houses a mini-theatre. Then there's a health club, a gym and a swimming pool. Two floors are reserved for Ambani family's guests. Four floors above the guest floors are family floors all with a superb view of the Arabian Sea . On top of everything are three helipads. A staff of 600 is expected to care for the family and their family home.

In 2004, India became the 3rd most attractive foreign direct investment destination... Pakistan wasn't even in the top 25 countries.

In 2004, the United Nations, the representative body of 192 sovereign member states, had requested the Election Commission of India to assist the UN in the holding elections in Al Jumhuriyah al Iraqiyah and Dowlat-e Eslami-ye Afghanestan.. Why the Election Commission of India and not the Election Commission of Pakistan? After all, Islamabad is closer to Kabul than is Delhi .

Imagine, 12 percent of all American scientists are of Indian origin; 38 percent of doctors in America are Indian; 36 percent of NASA scientists are Indians; 34 percent of Microsoft employees are Indians; and 28 percent of IBM employees are Indians.

For the record: Sabeer Bhatia created and founded Hotmail... Sun Microsystems was founded by Vinod Khosla. The Intel Pentium processor, that runs 90 percent of all computers, was fathered by Vinod Dham. Rajiv Gupta co-invented Hewlett Packard's E-speak project. Four out often Silicon Valley start-ups are run by Indians. Bollywood produces 800 movies per year and six Indian ladies have won Miss Universe/Miss World titles over the past 10 years.

For the record: Azim Premji, the richest Muslim entrepreneur on the face of the planet, was born in Bombay and now lives in Bangalore.India now has more than three dozen billionaires; Pakistan has none (not a single dollar billionaire) .

The other amazing aspect is the rapid pace at which India is creating wealth. In 2002, Dhirubhai Ambani, Mukesh and Anil Ambani's father, left his two sons a fortune worth $2.8 billion. In 2007, their combined wealth stood at $94 billion.. On 29 October 2007, as a result of the stock market rally and the appreciation of the Indian rupee, Mukesh became the richest person in the world, with net worth climbing to US$63.2 billion (Bill Gates, the richest American, stands at around $56 billion). Indians and Pakistanis have the same Y-chromosome haplogroup. We have the same genetic sequence and the same genetic marker (namely: M124).

We have the same DNA molecule, the same DNA sequence. Our culture, our traditions and our cuisine are all the same. We watch the same movies and sing the same songs.

What is it that Indians have and we don't?

INDIANS ELECT THEIR LEADERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And also to mention: They think of Construction of own nation, unlike other nations who are just concerned with destruction of others...

Simple answer why the Indian fare better than the Pakistani'.. They don't focus on religion and neither do they spend time and money in devising ways to kill their own and everyone else over religion.

I think the last line where Dr. Farrukh said ‘We Indians don't focus on religion and neither do we spend time and money in devising ways to kill our own and everyone else over religion’, is not correct. We are still fighting based on language, cast n religion.

I am deeply hurt b’cos of current situation in India esp. in Mumbai and planning to write a letter to president of India, that I want someone to pull the plug on me, as the pain caused due to racism is unbearable and I don’t want to be treated like vegetable, The most painful part is that I am not able to do anything.

I am pretty sure unlike Kalam, our current President will not reply to that email. But still I want to write…

Kindly leave a comment(...you can Anonymus option to post your comments) if you too agree. Also let me know shall I write an email to President of India Mrs. Pratibha Patil?...

no Cheers,

Loneliness...

Good grief, I had no idea that loneliness was such a burden to bear. I am sure there is plenty more of it in my future, and overall I am enjoying my singleness, but sometimes the loneliness can make me feel sad.

I guess I've never really felt alone like this. I've had my parents, plenty of friends, my neighbors’ and my pets. Now I left my home town, far away from my parents, pets and neighbors’. That leaves me with some of my friends(…most are my friends are not in Mumbai). Of which I am purely blessed. I have many friends of which some are very close to me. I adore them all. I need them all. But the loneliness persists.

I've got to find a way to squelch it. I don't like it. I don't even like saying "I'm lonely". It's not like I don't have plenty to do. Plenty around the house, plenty of work, great hobbies, loads of good movies and serials to watch, Gtalk to chat, nature to love. It is definitely not an empty life. But it can be a lonely life.

I have one close friend, she had spoken recently about the pervasive loneliness in her life. She is widowed, her husband died in an accident in a local train, a year after their love marriage. I don't believe I suffer from the same level of loneliness she do, and for that I am grateful, but I still hurt for her.

My loneliness is more of an emptiness. An empty flat. An empty bed. An empty heart. But worst of all, an empty soul…
