One buzz that has been doing the rounds for quite some time now is that the Siddharth Tewary’s popular youth oriented show on Star Plus, Navya, is soon to go off air. The last episode will air on June 29, 2012.
‘Navya’ is youth oriented show and highlighted the parents-children relationship and generation gap. We have seen the romance between Anant (Shaheer Sheikh) and Navya (Saumya Seth) and the problems which they faced later, how their parents who are initially against their love eventually agree and finally celebrate their wedding.
The show completed a year in April, 2012 and enjoyed loyal viewership.
When contacted Producer Siddarth Tewary confirmed the news but refused to comment further.
Saheer and Saumya remained unavailable to comment.
