COLORS’ is soon to present viewers with a new show that is set against the backdrop of Punjab and will highlight the rustic and unique Punjabi culture and grandness.
Currently, the untitled show (we heard the title is 'Sanjha Chulha') is being shot at various picturesque locations in and around the state including a few historical ones making it completely realistic. The project is a collaboration between two creative forces - Damini Shetty’s Mystic and Colleseum Productions. Riding on the Punjabi theme, the new show is set to replace Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms Parichay - Naye Zindagi Ke Sapno Ka at the 10.30 pm slot.
Parichay - Naye Zindagi Ke Sapno Ka was based on the story of a fallen hero, Kunal Chopra and his struggle with his professional career and life. The show generated interest since its inception due to its unusual storyline that revolved around a male protagonist. After a successful run of almost two years, the show has reached its natural end with Kunal and Siddhi getting back to start a new beginning paving way for fresh content. The show introduced an ensemble cast with popular faces like Sameer Soni, Aruna Irani, Aarti Singh along with Keerti Nagpure, Prerna Wanwari and Mahesh Shetty playing key characters that added to its grandeur.
