Ghotak ( Paresh Ganatra) adopts a girl child; which makes Koel ( Shubhangi Atre Poorey) and the entire Narayan family very happy; the couple names this bundle of joy 'Cheeti'. The newest member of Narayan family 'Cheeti' bears the characteristics of an ant; while she is sugary sweet and eats just sugar, she bites people who annoy her! Another trait that makes her a lovable character is that she is extremely hardworking and believes in trying until she succeeds.
This particular character is essayed by child actor Drisha Kalyani, last seen in Life OK's 26/12.
With the adoption of 'Cheeti', the show has taken another progressive step towards involving and educating audiences through positive and inspiring storylines. Chidiya Ghar, through this track has showcased the importance of girl child and conveyed how fulfilling it is to have a girl in the family!
