Why did Kushal Tandon opt out of Romila?

Kushal Tandon, who shot to fame from Cinevistaas Limited's popular show 'Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai' on Star Plus was supposed to make Bollywood debut with Jaswant Khera's erotic drama 'Romila'. But now we heard, the charming actor has opted out of the project..


According to our sources, "Tandon, who was seen in 'Bigg Boss 7'  & 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' wants to make debut with a better project. He is keen to do start a new journey with a film which is suitable for family viewing. As Romila is very bold film, so the dashing actor decided to opt out of the film."

For those uninitiated, Kushal was supposed to play a budding singer in 'Romila' and was paired opposite Mugdha Godse, who will be playing the title role. The film is produced by Sanjay Ahluwalia who also produced Ajay Devgn's Rascals.

The 30-year-old actor also participated in 5th season of Star Plus' popular celebrity dance reality show 'Nach Baliye' with his then Bulgarian model girlfriend Elena Boeva. He later made headlines when he painted the town red with Gauahar Khan on Bigg Boss season 7.

We wish Kushal all the best and hope he will make a 'dream debut' soon with a usual Bollywood potboiler.
