Surveen Chawla set to play a crucial part in sacred games

Surveen Chawla is eagerly anticipating the launch of her forthcoming web series, Sacred Games also featuring Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. 

Haq Se was in the making for 2 years!

Alt Balaji’s next digital series Haq Se starring Rajeev Khandelwal and Surveen Chawla is all set to go online worldwide in early 2018. Inspired from Louisa May Alcott’s bestselling novel Little Women, the digital series has been in the making for the past 2 years!

The makers of the series Manor Rama Pictures wanted to give the series a larger than life film like treatment. “Ekta being a dear friend, together we decided to collaborate on Haq Se, based on Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel Little Women. Considering, the modern feel attached to the story, we needed to Indianise it so that it could appeal to the masses,” said Karan Raj Kohli, co-founder, Manor Rama Pictures.

Surveen Chawla will be felicitated by the Chandigarh government for her contribution to Punjabi cinema at an event scheduled on November 1.

Hope you guys remember the hot & steamy song 'Aaj Tum Pe Jo Pyar Aaya Hai'  from Madhuri Dixit & Vinod Khanna starrer 'Dayavan', in which the dancing diva & then dashing hunk were getting cozy with a passionate kiss.

The same song is recreated in Vikram Bhatt's Hate Story 2, but it seems censor board is in no mood to give green signal and has taken objection to this new version of song pictured on Surveen Chawla and Jay Bhanushali. The makers are asked to chop the few intimate portions also they are not allowed to air the song on television because of adult content.

For those uninitiated, Hate Story 2 is a the second installment to 2012's Hate Story, which was produced by Vikram Bhatt and directed by Vivek Agnihotri. However,  the sequel has been leaded by Vishal Pandya.
