Now, he's all set to step into the shoes of India's greatest villain ever in Adipurush - a magnum opus that marks the trio - Saif Ali Khan, Om Raut and Bhushan Kumar’s second collaboration together after Tanhaji. Saif has been signed on to play the prime antagonist in the period saga - who's menacing, lethal and brutal, all at the same time.

Rohan Mehra gets candid on how he bagged Baazaar

The trailer of Baazaar – an upcoming drama on stocks, money, and crime released a few days back and has received rave reviews from one and all! The film marks the debut of Rohan Mehra and also stars Saif Ali Khan, Chitrangda Singh, and Radhika Apte.

The road to Bollywood was not easy for Rohan. Talking about how he bagged the role in Baazaar, Rohan Mehra recalls, “I heard about the film, in fact, I read about the film and was very intrigued by the storyline. When I learnt that Nikkhil Sir was making this film, I thought of auditioning for it. Initially the film was supposed to have only established actors and they were not even planning on taking newcomers.”

He along with team KriArj are now looking forward to preparations for one of the biggest launching for Sara Ali Khan, as its her debut film. The film also stars Sushant Singh Rajput.

"Its been an incredible schedule.. exhausting and exhilarating.. shooting in the mountains is never easy especially when its on a yatra and the weather changes constantly but thankfully the mountain god has blessed our shoot and its wrapped as per schedule,” smiled Abhishek Kapoor the director of this pilgrimage of love and also its co-producer.

Actress Bipasha Basu, who is a part of Sajid Khan's upcoming film Humshakals, is missing from the promotions. This was widely speculated. But now the gossip mongers can finally relax, because the Bong babe took to Twitter to clarify her stance.

“This is to put an end to all the discussions around my absence for Humshakals promotions. I take full responsibility of getting into a film only on the basis of trust. But after dubbing for my character in the film, as I had professionally committed to do so I`m extremely disturbed by the end result of the same. In these circumstances I didn`t know how to promote a film with all honesty and that`s why I thought it was better to stay away. I am confident that the film will be true to it`s genre and will be a full entertainer because of the people involved. I wish fox star studios who I have had my biggest hit with Raaz 3 and vashu ji who is a fantastic producer all the best. Wish all my co stars Saif, Riteish, Tamannah, Esha and the technicians best of luck. Sometimes, certain journeys cannot be completed and this is one of them - no one to be blamed, combination of things that made me disrupt my journey,”  the actor wrote on her micro-blogging site.

Bips further tweeted that,"Movies are our life.They are made by efforts of lots of ppl!I can never be against a film!As an actor ur role can disappoint u at times."

Starring Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Ram Kapoor (in triple roles), southern sex siren Tamannaah, dusky Bipasha Basu and Esha Gupta is scheduled to release this Friday (20 June, 2014).

This weekend’s episode of Comedy Nights With Kapil holds many twists for the show’s ardent fans. While actor Saif Ali Khan joins the team to promote his upcoming film Bullett Raja, there are some more new faces that will entertain audiences. Stepping in will be popular television actor Gaurav Gera who will be seen donning the look of Dulari (Gaurav Gera).

Dulari’s character will be Laccha’s (Kiku) friend and the new girl in Kapil’s neighbourhood. During the course of the episode, Saif will be seen giving Laccha some tips on how to impress Dulari. In fact, Saif even reads out a love letter that Laccha has written for Dulari. However, Dulari has her eyes set on Saif Ali Khan as she tells him that the sound track Don’t Touch My Body from his upcoming movie is targeted at her. To prove her point, Dulari also danced to the song and showcased her moves.

Will Laccha manage to grab his girl or will Dulari prefer Saif Ali Khan instead?

She will be unveiling & her much awaited number 'Fevicol Se' from 'Dabangg 2' alongside Salman Khan for the first time ever on the stage of Bigg Boss Season 6. Launching the first look of his movie 'Dbangg 2' a few weeks back with his brother Arbaaz Khan, Salman is glad to have Kareena - his favorite Bollywood actress, back to unveil the song of his movie on Bigg Boss 6. 'Fevicol Se' definitely seems to be this year's most awaited item number. The song has been in news for long now for being a master-blaster version of 'Munni' from 'Dabangg 1'. This will be Kareena's first item number post her marraige, on the request of her hubby - Saif Ali Khan. After giving smash hits in Bodyguard, Salman and Kareena are back together to floor their audiences with a new hit. The singer - Mamta Sharma, feels obliged to lend her voice to Kareena and is glad to have a chance to be working in a Salman Khan movie. So will this song steal the thunder of various item numbers like - Katrina's Chikni Chameli, Malaika's Munni Badnam, and Kareena's own Chammak Challo.

Imran Khan was the first choice for 'Cocktail'

Director Homi Adajania says Imran Khan was his first choice for romantic comedy "Cocktail", which has Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and model Diana Penty.

"Saif was not the first choice. Imran was supposed to do it but he was not sure if he wanted to do it at that point of a time," Adajania told IANS.

Being produced by Saif's Illuminati Films, the film will come out July 13.

"As Saif is the producer, he was going through the scripts, he read it and loved it. So, it worked out pretty well and that is how he came on board," he said.

Adajania debuted as a director with dark film "Being Cyrus" and it had Saif in the lead role. Dimple Kapadia and Boman Irani too featured in it.

For "Cocktail" too the director has roped in Dimple-Boman to play prominent roles.

Explaining their presence in the cast, he said: "Dimple and Boman are also there in the film and it is not like they were in 'Being Cyrus' so are part of this film as well. It is not a matter of familiarity but using talented actors who fit the bill."

Randeep Hooda makes cameo in 'Cocktail'

Mumbai, July 5 (IANS) Actor Randeep Hooda, last seen in "Jannat 2", is set to make a cameo in Saif Ali Khan-starrer "Cocktail".

"He (Randeep) just has a special appearance in the film. He has been kind enough to do it. He is an experienced actor and he doesn't think if a role is big or small," Dinesh Vijan, co-producer of "Cocktail", told IANS.

Randeep, who is in the cast of films like "Jism 2" and "Heroine", was brought on board by Homi Adjania, who has directed the romantic comedy.

"Homi has a good equation with him and when Homi asked, he agreed. It's just a special appearance," added Vijan.

"Cocktail", releasing July 13, also features Deepika Padukone and marks the Bollywood debut of model Diana Penty.

Agent Vinod loses out to Aazaan and Singham

While Agent Vinod is garnering a mixed response from its audiences, an internet poll has voted the movie much behind last year’s action releases like Singham and Aazaan, with Players and Don 2 also being part of the poll.

In an audience poll on a leading social networking site this week, the Saif Ali Khan starrer ranked behind Ajay Devgn's Singham and Sachiin Joshi's Aazaan in the race for the best action movies of the year. Luckily, going by its current hype, the film managed to beat Don 2 and Players by a small margin.

"While Aazaan had riveting action and breathtaking locales matching Hollywood production values, Singham made sure it stunned everyone with its car stunts and South Indian cinema style larger-than-life action," says a trade analyst.

"Though Agent Vinod moves from one country to another, exploring different locations at a rapid pace, its script leaves a lot to be desired," he adds.

Going by the latest trends, it seems Bollywood still has to learn a few lessons before it can match up to Hollywood finesse the way Aazaan or Players did.

No CCTV footage in Saif Case!

Ever since news about his brawl with the South African NRI businessman Iqbal Sharma and his father-in-law Raman Patel broke out, Saif Ali Khan has been saying that CCTV footage of the scuffle at the five-star restaurant of the downtown hotel in Mumbai would prove his innocence.

Saif was dining at the restaurant with his girlfriend and co-star Kareena Kapoor, her sister Karisma, actress Amrita Arora and her husband Shakeel Ladakh along with producer Bilal Amrohi, when the incident happened.

However, the fact remains that there is no CCTV footage which has captured the brawl. Inspite of the terror attack that took place in the same hotel in 2008, apparently there are no video cameras installed in the particular restaurant in order to respect the privacy of guests.

Meanwhile, many in Bollywood have come in support of Saif on Twitter. Amrita Arora who was present at the location of the tiff, said, “It’s sad that celebs become victims of other people wanting their 15 minutes of fame. Just for the record, if the people concerned were assaulted so badly, how come they were fit enough to be on TV giving interviews all day?”

“There is something amiss in this incident and I’m sure the facts will come out soon. It’s very unlike Saif to hit an elderly man or provoke a fight,” quipped jewellery designer Farah Ali Khan. Filmmaker Kunal Kohli tweeted, “Saif explained the whole incident on TV just now. It’s unfair to tilt opinions against anyone just because he’s a star.”

Saif as well as the NRI South African businessman, both claim that the opposite party hit them first. Though Bollywood PR guru Dale Bhagwagar has never worked with Saif, he said, “Saif has the class of a gentleman. I’ve heard that the NRI guys used words like ‘whores’ and ‘prostitutes’ for his actress friends and provoked him to argue. Inspite of such filthy language, Saif is learnt to have only argued and not raised his hand, till the NRI’s father-in-law is said to have suddenly hit him on the neck. I’m told, that is when he reacted in self-defense.”

“Some guys refuse to play it ‘saif’! What to do? Agent Iqbal may help Agent Vinod break records, not noses,” joked quirky writer Shobhaa De about the South African NRI businessman Iqbal Sharma’s broken nose.

Kareena will be a shocker in ‘Heroine’: Madhur Bhandarkar

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar asserts that Kareena Kapoor’s performance in his latest project “Heroine” is not only fabulous, it will also be a shocker for her fans.

“Her character Mahi Arora is very contemporary, very edgy, very hard-hitting and very real like my other cinema. Kareena will definitely be a shock element to the people because of the way she has worked in the film,” the 43-year-old producer-director said here at the launch of photographer Dabboo Ratnani’s calendar.

“I am looking at the film because I know the story, I know the screenplay, I know the dialogues. She will be fabulous,” he added.

Known for his films like “Chandni Bar”, “Satta”, “Page 3″, “Traffic Signal” and “Fashion”, Bhandarkar believes “Heroine” will be a milestone in Kareena’s career.

” ‘Heroine’ is 25 percent over. The next schedule is in February, March and April and the picture will release in September. The way you people are waiting for the film, so am I. I hope it finishes really soon,” he said.

The director found himself in a tight spot when Aishwarya Rai, the original choice for the film, decided to quit the project due to her pregnancy.

Kareena is also expected to tie the knot with Saif Ali Khan early this year and the actress may wrap the film up before that.

This issue is based on the iconic women of the film industry and is dedicated to the designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, who have completed 25 years in the fashion industry. They are well known for their zardozi and resham work.

‘Hello’ magazine has taken on some of the everlasting beauties of the Bollywood to showcase special creations of Abu and Sandeep.

Jaya Bachchan and Shweta Nanda, were dressed in gold and white saris bejeweled with zardozi work, the two seem elegant and astounding. The Mehandi on Jaya’s hand and Shweta’s sinking neckline are the prominent features of this picture.

Dimple Kapadia and daughters Rinkie & Twinkle Khanna rarely posed together, that too for a glamorous photoshoot. The three ladies are looking dazzling.

Sara Ali Khan, 16-year-old daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh has mark her presence in the glamour world from the cover of a magazine.

 Dressed in richly embroidered outfit, with layers of silk and gold, Sara stand next to her proud mother and is looking truly blossomed. The dress is designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.

Amrita debuted in films at the age of her daughter did not wipe down the possibility of Sara to take up acting as her career. According to Amrita acting is in her genes, but at right time Sara will decide whether she should woo Bollywood or stay away.

“Sara is bright student of Science, and like all good students, aspires to be a doctor. She could also turn out to be a sharp lawyer. The next two years will be critical for her as she will finally decide on her career,” Amrita tells the tabloid.
