Urvashi Dholakia better known as Komalika of Kasautii Zindagii Ki will face the camera after quite some time. She is seen making guest appearances in Balaji Telefilms Pavitra Rishta. 

Ankita Lokhande starrer show, which ran over for more than 1400 episodes will finally breathe its last on the coming 25th. Small screen czarina Ekta Kapoor is leaving no stone unturned to make the finale episode a gala affair. So she approached her lucky mascot Urvashi to do a small cameo along with Iqbal Khan and Karan Grover.


Urvashi is facing camera after a long time. After she won Bigg Boss-6 Urvashi was did a comedy show Nautanki. Her last fictional show was Dil ‘Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava’.  So how she is feeling facing camera after so many years? “I am shooting almost after 1 and a half year and it feels great. It’s like home coming for me because Ekta is like a family.”


When asked why she is missing from the small screen? Urvashi said, “I am waiting for the right and challenging role, be it negative or positive. I am open to do any type of role.”

What do you think about the vamps today? They usually have a comic touch. “Frankly speaking, I do not watch any television shows except Bigg Boss, so I cannot comment anything.”


Who is your favourite contestant in Bigg Boss 8? “No one as such, I think everybody is playing their own game very nicely. Upen Patel is playing the good game and Gautam Gulati is very entertaining. Gautam is the only one in the house who is giving entertainment.”

Do you remember, in Bigg Boss Season 6 – ‘Alag Che’ a talking parrot 'Radhe' was introduced as one of the house guest? At that time that charming-naughty guest won heart of the viewers. But the Macaw parrot, who was supposed to stay for 90 days went missing after few weeks.

While shooting for the finale episode, host Salman Khan by mistake revealed the reason behind Radhe's sudden disappearance.

We were quite surprised when Dabang Khan murmured, "Bichara Radhe, bhagwaan uski atma ko shanti de.” However that part was chopped from the finale episode.



Later we came to know, Radhe died of natural cause after some weeks. But at that time it was kept under wrap, because the channel and Endemol India Private Limited didn't want to invite one more controversy.

Post Bigg Boss..Tanishaa Mukerji has her hands full!

While many who agree to get locked up as inmates in the Big Boss House, hope for it to lead to work, Tanishaa Mukerji is one of the few who has had to postpone her commitments due to the reality show.

According to our sources, “Tanishaa was lucky that her commitments were not immediate. The second schedule of her Marathi film is pending and as soon as she comes out of the house, the film will complete its shooting schedules.  On the other hand, her play, The Verdict, is also supposed to travel internationally once she’s back.  While nobody knew the reason earlier, the producers of both her film and play were extremely supportive in reworking her dates.Tanishaa was also working on her second project as producer and had started her research as well for it."

Tanishaa, who seems to be faring quite well on the reality show, seems to have her hands full once she’s back out of the Big Boss house!

OMG Sana Khan accused for kidnapping case

Sana Khan became talk in touch after Bigg Boss 6. Beautiful actress is playing one of the lead roles in Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Mental’. She is on the run after being booked by ‘Navi Mumbai’ police for tarrying to kidnap a minor girl.

Naved fell into a romantic liaison with the 15 years minor girl through social networking site last year and proposed marriage, which she refused. Minor girl’s family suspected that on April 30, Miss. Khan with her cousin Naved and his friends Kshitij Gopinath Dubey and Vismit Vilas Ambre and another person went to Sanpada and tried to abduct the girl by forcing to sit in their car when she was returning from her class X tuitions.Sana was driving the BMW car in which they tried drag the girl.

Luckily the girl managed to escape. But when she reached home, Sana, her cousin Naved and friends were already there and were quarrelling with minor’s mother. After which her mother lodged a complaint in Turbhe police station. Naved and his three friends were arrested are now out on bail, but Sana gave police the slip.

Sana was not there in her Oshiwara house, when police went there to investigate. She is also absent from the shooting of Mental, throwing the schedule haywire.

Mohit Raina is the best Shiv till date: Santosh Shukla

Many of us are unaware of the news that Santosh Shukla, who is currently busy in shooting for Salman Khan's upcoming venture 'Mental' played the role of Lord Shiva in Mahua channel's 'Jai Jai Shiv Shankar'.

Until now the actor portrayed various deities from Lord Ram to Lord Krishna and gradually became face of mythological sagas. He was quite fortunate because he got the opportunity to participate in Colors' biggest controversial show Bigg Boss, which refined his life for the better.

"It's really difficult to portray divine roles but sometimes it's even more difficult to break the image because once you do a mytho, the chances to get type cast are much higher. I am triumphant enough to get the image makeover," says Santosh Shukla.

If given an opportunity will he play Lord Shiva again? The actor asserted, "Lord Shiva? Na baba na. Television par Shiva ke roop mein ab sirf Mohit Raina achche lagte hai (No ways, Mohit Raina looks the best as Lord Shiva on Television). He is an amazing actor."

According to Santosh, Mohit is playing a very important role in making the show such a massive hit apart from the huge production values, sets, amazing costumes and writers.

"I was quite shocked when I saw him as Bhagwaan Shankar. Playing Lord Shiva in such a huge mythological show that is larger than life is not a joke. In 'Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev', Mohit carries himself so gracefully that one can't even expect someone else to play Lord Shiva in any other show. I actually want to meet him and congratulate him for doing such a fantastic job. He is best Shiva till date," quips Santosh.

 Santosh Shukla, fame of Big Boss is all set with his new avtar with comic pun. The on screen nautanki that Santosh maintained on the sets of Big Boss-6, will now be seen playing comedy Yogi Baba in Nautanki, The Comedy theatre, a famous comedy show on Colors Tv.  Santosh this time has got a vital role In the Nautanki, The Comedy Theatre. He will be playing a Yogi baba with funny characteristics.

When asked about his role, he said, “I strongly worship Lord Shiva and Shivji is also a yogi so playing yogi baba make me more excited. More over portraying it in a comic way, is much more challenging than playing a serious face."

Santosh Shukla was earlier seen in television daily soaps like Big-Boss-6, Kahaani Chandrakanta Ki, Koi Sapno Ke Deep Jalaye, Jai Santoshi Maa, Jai Jai Shiv Shankar and many more.

Santosh is currently shooting for a movie directed by Sunil Agnihotri with actors like Anupam Kher, Vindu Dara Singh, Rajpal Yadav.

Cute, bubbly yet shy...Karishma Kotak!

International Model Karishma Kotak became the talk of the town when she entered in Bigg Boss house. This lady with a captivating smile has made a way into too many hearts during her stay in Bigg Boss house.  She was born in Patiala and brought up in London. She has been modelling from the age of 16. She got herself onto the Kingfisher Swimsuit calendar in 2005. Later in 2006 she took part in ‘Lakme Fashion Week’. Karishma made her acting debut in 2007 with ‘Shankardada Zindabad’, a Telugu remake of ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’.

She was recently seen in one of the most controversial shows “Bigg Boss”. When asked about her experience in Bigg Boss house, she said “Bigg boss has definitely been one of the most interesting experiences of my life. It is like being in a time capsule, you are in your own world with people you don't know and you have no clue what’s happening in the outside world. I had to stay away from my family. I got to meet so many new people and learned new things. It is like vipasana to an extent, no phone, no watch, no calendar, no TV, no internet, no books, no paper, no pen and constantly being monitored by cameras (laughs). I am glad because I survived there for such a long duration.”

She took up Bigg Boss because she wanted money for her dad’s treatment. As it’s much talked reality show in India so it was a good opportunity for her to grab the eye balls. “Bigg Boss came at a point in my life where I needed this push, and it was also an interesting concept,” she added.

Her dad passed away while she was inside the house. Later she came back again soon. Kotak does not have any regret for not being able to be with her father during his last days. “My dad left a small video message for me. He said he is proud of me and also said that the show must go on. It was my father’s wish, he wanted me to stay strong and continue the show. It was undeniably the toughest part of my life, but I don’t regret because I fulfilled my father’s wish.”

When asked about her sense of style, she smiled and said, “My personal sense of style is elegant and quite girly.”  Like others she too did so many fashion goof ups and prefers not to talk about it. “Goof ups happen so many times…it’s better to forget them and move on as sometimes they are quite embarrassing.”

Everyone has something to treasure, their most prized possession. When asked to the tall and svelte model, she flaunted her Jimmy Choo’s handbag and said, “It’s my most esteemed possession. It’s so beautiful, but it’s so heavy and sometimes difficult to carry. Still I just love it.”

She has a fashion fetish but it's not related to clothes or jewelleries. She actually has a fetish for shoes and keeps on adding to her big pile of existing collection. “I have a fetish for Shoes, shoes and shoes! My mom is so fed up of my shoes but I still buy a new pair every now and then and then sneak them in and pretend that they have been around for a while.”

So does she have any guilty indulgence when it comes to style? “Ya ya!! I love getting my nails done and so I get them done at least once in every ten days. So my guilty indulgence would be manicure and pedicure. I consider it as a real treat for myself.”

Rohit Bal, Tarun Tahiliani and Leepakshi Ellawadi are her preferred designers and her favourite shopping destination is London. “I am brought up in London so of course it’s my favourite and most favoured place to shop.”

She had already done some movies in south like ‘In Ghost House Inn’, and after her stint in Bigg Boss she is open to do Bollywood also. “As of now, work has been great after Bigg Boss, so I expect some good work. I am planning to be in Mumbai and do more reality shows, modelling. I have been hosting shows before Bigg Boss, so if I might host a show if get an opportunity. I will grab anything good which comes my way,” signs off the Gujarati gal who can easily be mistaken as a foreigner.

Urvashi Dholakia wins Bigg Boss Season 6

Mumbai, January 12th, 2013: Successfully completing her stay of 98 days inside the Bigg Boss house, Urvashi Dholakia has been declared as the winner of the biggest reality show, Vodafone presents Bigg Boss Season 6. Bringing an alag season this year, COLORS has presented its viewers with unlimited entertainment and daily dose of drama. Locking up different personalities in the house for over a period of three months, the show has presented viewers with various shades of their favourite celebrities. Surviving the toughest challenges that changed her personal chemistry with the co-contestants to earning the audience’s love, the no-nonsense and woman in control, Urvashi Dholakia has emerged victorious and walked away with the grand prize of Rs. 50 lacs and Bigg Boss Season 6 trophy. Giving Urvashi a tough run were Imam Siddique, who emerged as the first runner up and Sana Khan as the second runner up.

Urvashi’s journey in the show was no easy task. Living away from her sons for 3 months, Urvashi has proved it to the world that she is a tough single mother. Delnaaz Irani eliminated from Bigg Boss!

Makers of Bigg Boss are leaving no stone unturned to the grab the eyeballs. The show has reached its final stage with remaning 6 contestant Rajeev Paul, Delnaaz Irani, Sana Khan, Imam Siddhique, Urvashi Dholakia and Niketan Madhok. According to our reliable sources, Delnaaz irani has been eliminated from the house.

Last night, Bigg Boss asked all the 6 contestants to gather in the garden area. Delnaaz and hRajev Paul were asked to stand on two separate stools, after which Delnaaz eveiction is announced.

She was one the strong contestant, but she made negative image for herself by saying it openly that she is only one who deserves to win the show.

I am not a psycho, says Imam Siddique

Yesterday Bigg Boss invited a few selected journalists to interact with the contestants inside the Bigg Boss house.

One of the reporter asked Imam, ‘Whatever you are doing inside the house is just to gain publicity or Imam is really pshyco in real life?’

Image consultant-anchor Imam Siddique said, “I am honest, sincere and humble human being.  I don’t think I am pshyco. And if you want to know whether Imam is psycho or not please ask Psychologist. I am like any other human being. Sometimes I lose temper and react spontaneously.”

Sapna interrupted in between and said, “To experience happiness you must taste the  grief...in the same way to stay normal we require some madness.  I really thank Imam ki woh pagaalpan iss ghar mein leke aaye hai. I am big fan of madness. You need to have a little crack to let the light in.”

 A couple of days back Imam was seen disagreeing with Salman Khan during a nomination episode. He even said ‘Time Out’ to Salman, when asked about this Imam said. "I did not have a tiff with him (Salman). I accept I misbehaved with him. I have respect for Salman. I have known him for 25 years."

He further added. "I don't think this is the right time to talk about that episode. I will talk about it when I will be out of the show.”

Imam Siddiqui is quite hopeful to win the show Bigg Boss season 6. If he wins the show, he would go to Haj and also start a school in Rajastan. Imam said, "I am here to play the game. If I win the show I will go to Haj... Then I will open a school in Rajasthan."

Nirahua, Santosh Shukla and Vishal Karwal mourn after Dehli gang rape…

This season of Bigg Boss has witnessed a strong male bonding between Vishal Karwal, Santosh Shukla and Nirahua. Nirahua and Santosh evicted last to last week, whereas Vishal's elimination was seen last week. Though their stint in Bigg Boss house is over but their friendship is blooming day by day. They still meet on and off and party hard.

We came to know that they were heart broken after they came to know about the gang rape in New Delhi. They were planning to visit Mount Mary church to pray for Damini but they cancelled the plan.

When contacted Santosh said, “Me, Vishal and Nirahua were planning to visit Mount Mary Church to pray for speedy recovery of Damini but as festive season is on so if we visit the holy shrine then it might become a reason of inconvenience for other visitors, so we dropped the idea. My heart goes out for Damini. God bless her.”

He further added, “I was completely shocked when I heard this news. A normal man cannot indulge himself in a such shameful act. I think those men must have been mentally ill for sure. They lack humanity and are equivalent to or even worse than animals.”

Nirahua was very angry after this incident. “Bahut nindaniya ghatna hai. Who so ever is involved in this crime should be strictly punished in such a way that nobody else dares to repeat the dreadful crime. It’s high time to amend the law because if our law is strong enough then nobody will even think of touching a girl without her permission rape toh dur ki baat hai,” Nirahua quipped.

Emotionally upset Vishal shared, “ I am completely heartbroken after knowing about this incident. This is one such important issue which will not vanish until we change our own mind-set. Instead of protests and marches we need to begin with the basics. We tell our sisters/daughters not to step out in the night…Why can’t and why don’t we teach our sons to respect a Women!! We should teach our sons; the ethics about how to treat a woman. Only when the base is strong, this issue will be destroyed from roots. We need to change our thinking on personal level then only this problem will be resolved. We need to think right leaving behind the shallow beliefs and frivolous customs. Then only being Indian, we can proudly say that yes we do treat our females as goddesses and it’s a safe society for them."

Bigg Boss 6 Episodic Synopsis – Day 72 :Chor-Police in Bigg Boss house!

 All geared up to be ‘chors’ and play their parts to perfection - Sapna, Niketan and Imam are seen strategizing. Imam tells the two that he has stolen Vishal’s personal things and that they can make money out of it. Imam asks the two to keep alive the spirit of the game and play it well while keeping aside their personal differences.

Imam is locked up in jail as he was caught robbing, soon after which Niketan goes to talk to him but is stopped by Rajev. The cops had apparently made a new rule that only police can hover near the prison are while the other visitors can come only during visiting hours. Sapna also tries to go and talk, but Rajev asks her to stop. Sapna tells him that Imam hasn’t had breakfast and that Sapna will pass some breakfast to him, which again Rajev denies. Sapna then strategizes with Niketan that she will go out and rob in open, and the police will have no other option but to put her behind the bars and release Imam Siddhique.

She soon goes out and announces to do the same, and while she is trying to rob Aashka’s bags, Vishal catches her. Sapna remained unsuccessful in executing her strategy but she soon goes out in the garden area and passes on half a paratha to Imam who is still inside the jail.  While the police continue to have a clash with the Aam Adamis, the thieves ensure that they strike a deal with them for food.

In the afternoon, Urvashi Dholakia is seen asking for drinking water from Aam Aadmis when they reply saying that the police can always come in and fetch the water for themselves. Urvashi loses her cool at this and tells them that they have been guarding the entire luggage in the house whole night long and she thought this answer was rude and uncalled for. Aashka Goradia tries explaining her stance, but Urvashi refuses to listen. Furthermore, Rajev is seen picking on Karishma as she passed him an apple when he asked for one, but she couldn’t give them water, when they actually needed it. Karishma breaks down and tells Delnaz that she should have spoken up saying she had asked Karishma to pass the apple.

As the day passes, Imam asks the police to take off his handcuffs and when Urvashi is trying to open them, she realises that the keys of his handcuffs are missing. Imam again takes it personally thinking it is their secret task to not open his handcuffs. Bigg Boss soon announces that the luxury budget task has ended and also announces that one of the rooms of the house will be shut forever making all the contestants stay together in one room.

As the day ends, Karishma Kotak and Imam are seen getting uncomfortable of the fact that they might have to share their beds with someone whom their families will not be comfortable with.

Bigg Boss 6 Episodic Synopsis – Day 66: The Bigg Twist

 Housemates wake up to the tamil song, ‘Daddy Mummy’, and as soon as the day begins, Imam and Sapna are seen having a fight. Sapna asks Imam Siddhique to pick up his bed sheet and he denies. The two end up having a heated argument, and Imam tells Sapna that he prefers not talking to her.

Santosh Shukla is then seen sitting in the garden, flirting with Karishma when she comes out after getting dressed. He complements her that she is looking good, while Karishma asks him not to overreact and keep it low. In a while, Karishma and Sapna are seen talking to each other about Santosh going overboard with his flirtatious nature. Aashka tells Karishma that she has stopped talking to Santosh for the same reason since he talks dirty behind the back. Soon, Santosh is seen hovering around in a weird costume, borrowed from Imam and follows Karishma in the washroom and tells her that he wants to be good friends with her. As the day passes, Aashka is seen getting a haircut from Sapna. Urvashi Dholakia sits at a distance watching the two and makes a face.

Soon, Bigg Boss announces a mid-week eviction in the house and asks all the nominated contestants to pack their bags and be ready for the evictions. Post the evictions, Vishal and Santosh break down and talk about how the actual game has begun now and the two are then seen discussing their strategy to survive in the show. Imam comes and joins the duo and is seen discussing the same with the two. Sapna on the other hand is seen very upset and disturbed too and talks about how this good people do not survive here. She snaps at Imam saying, good people have to leave the show, but people like Imam survive till the end. Imam goes after her to talk to her, but she pays no attention and acts like she cannot hear him.
In the night, Aashka Goradia is seen talking to Delnaz about how she should sort out her differences with Urvashi and that both of them are two matured ladies and fighting like girls is not something the two should proud of. Delnaz tells her that there is a reason behind her not wanting to go and talk to Urvashi, but agrees in the end.

Post the eviction, nominations for the next evictions take place in the house. While all the contestants are called in to save two of their favorites in the house, Sapna being the captain is given special powers to save her favorites and she opts to save all the women of the house. Bigg Boss then announces the nomination results.

As the day ends, Delnaz Paulis seen making peace with Urvashi. She goes to Urvashi and asks her if all the drama that she did day before was her secret task. Urvashi denies saying, if it was then she would have told everyone as soon as it was over. After lights out, Santosh is seen approaching Aashka and tells her that now is the time that he would want to talk to her and sort things out. Aashka denies and walks away saying this wouldn’t be the right time and prefers to talk to him during the day instead.

Bigg Boss 6 Episodic Synopsis – Day 65 : Flash Mob storms the Bigg Boss house

Some of the housemates have stayed up all night to win the luxury budget task. Sapna, Delnaaz, Imam Siddhique and Nirahua are seen in the garden area as the lights inside the house come on. Sapna runs inside the house with the loudspeaker to wake everyone up and tells them to check the store room. In sometime, all the housemates rise and shine. Bigg Boss gives Urvashi a secret task to spoil the breakfast cooked by Delnaaz in the kitchen area. Almost instantly, Urvashi Dholakia heads to the kitchen area and offers to help. She takes over the frying pan slyly and starts adding ridiculous amount of salt, pepper and spices to the ‘paranthas’. All the housemates like Karishma Kotak, Santosh Shukla etc start feeling the spice in their food from their first bite itself. Urvashi pretends innocent and watches along. Rajev looks at his ‘parantha’ to discover that his food is immersed with spices.

Meanwhile, Delnaaz also realizes that Urvashi has mixed too many spices that have made everyone’s breakfast inedible. She starts crying as she feels hurt on such sadist behavior. Rajev steps up to Urvashi and starts arguing with her about the food. Soon the argument turns ugly as the tempo goes high and both of them start shouting at each other. Rajev is upset as Urvashi has been wasting food intentionally and Urvashi starts the blame game by pointing out the numerous occasions where the others had made mistakes and not repented it. Urvashi storms away from the scene and leaves the housemates puzzled at her unforeseen outburst. Rajev gets emotional with Vishal and starts crying. All the rest come and console him.

In sometime, Rajev comes to Delnaaz Irani and tells her that he is a real man and stood up for what is right unlike the others. Bigg Boss tells Urvashi that her secret task is over and tells her to return the ear piece etc in the confession room without anyone noticing. In sometime, Aashka and Delnaaz are seen discussing Urvashi’s behavior. Aashka Goradia tells Niketan to talk to Urvashi and figure if she’s performing a task etc as her outbursts were getting out of control. Niketan approaches Urvashi and expresses that her behavior has definitely changed and doubts her for performing a secret task. Urvashi plays safe and tells him that she is the way she is behaving and nothing else.

Meanwhile, the housemates are performing their luxury budget task. Suddenly different groups of random people start entering the Bigg Boss house from various corners of the house like the confession room, store room, main entrance and the activity area. All the housemates are left shell shocked to see the large amount of people. All these people assemble in the garden area and that’s when the music starts. The performers start grooving to some of the most exciting south Indian songs like daddy mummy, ante and Kolaveri di with superb energy and enthusiasm. The housemates couldn’t help but to shake a leg with these wonderful youngsters who were putting up one adrenaline pumping show. The housemates were floored by the performance and were totally caught in the moment. In a bit, Bigg Boss announced the conclusion of the weekly task, which left the housemates celebrating the success of yet another task.

The day had the perfect end to it as a ‘sabzi mandi’ was introduced in the Bigg Boss house for luxury budget shopping. Bigg Boss chose Delnaaz, Rajev Paul, Urvashi and Sapna for completing this task. The four housemates had fifteen minutes to shop whatever they can with their budget in the ‘sabzi mandi’ organized in the performance area. The housemates played well and bought a good amount of luxury items. After the housemates celebrate their luxury goods, Karishma catches Imam dipping his used spoon in the peanut butter. Karishma, Sapna and the other give Imam an earful for his careless mistake. The night has a somewhat romantic end as Rajev walks up to Delnaaz and wishes her a happy wedding anniversary.
