Urvashi Dholakia wins Bigg Boss Season 6

Mumbai, January 12th, 2013: Successfully completing her stay of 98 days inside the Bigg Boss house, Urvashi Dholakia has been declared as the winner of the biggest reality show, Vodafone presents Bigg Boss Season 6. Bringing an alag season this year, COLORS has presented its viewers with unlimited entertainment and daily dose of drama. Locking up different personalities in the house for over a period of three months, the show has presented viewers with various shades of their favourite celebrities. Surviving the toughest challenges that changed her personal chemistry with the co-contestants to earning the audience’s love, the no-nonsense and woman in control, Urvashi Dholakia has emerged victorious and walked away with the grand prize of Rs. 50 lacs and Bigg Boss Season 6 trophy. Giving Urvashi a tough run were Imam Siddique, who emerged as the first runner up and Sana Khan as the second runner up.

Urvashi’s journey in the show was no easy task. Living away from her sons for 3 months, Urvashi has proved it to the world that she is a tough single mother. From sailing through fights with a brave face to putting up with Bakhtiyar’s allegations on her character, Urvashi showcased an admirable sportsmanship and spirit required to play the game. She has proved that she is a woman with nerves of steel and has fought every obstacle while changing situations to her advantage. Urvashi’s commitment towards playing the game with utmost diligence was evident while executing all tasks with dedication and more so when she took on the secret task given to her by Bigg Boss. This task was going to test her equation with the housemates, almost making all of them stand against her; she took on the challenge bravely without batting an eyelid.

After being announced as the winner of Vodafone presents Bigg Boss 6, an ecstatic Urvashi Dholakia said, “Packing for 3 weeks, I came with a thought of not staying long. The excitement, the adrenalin, the whole experience of surviving the country’s biggest show is unbelievable! I had never imagined I would last till the end and emerge as the winner after all the madness, drama, fights, cries and what not! I dedicate this victory to my late father, my fans who supported me, without them this would not have been possible. Having my own share of ups and downs with each of my co-contestants, I definitely need to credit them for putting up with me and making this journey worthwhile. There is a lot that I am taking back with me from this experience of Bigg Boss Season 6.”

The Grand Finale night was truly magical, filled with performances by the who’s who of television and Bollywood. Superstar Salman Khan started the evening with his trademark performance on Bigg Boss title track intersperse with his dialogues from his movies. He was joined by the God of dance aka Prabhudeva and Remo D’Souza who came to promote their upcoming flick – ABCD. Emraan Hashmi also joined Dabangg Khan on television for the first time and spoke about his upcoming movie – ‘Ek Thi Daayan’ after shaking performing leg with the bahus of television. The ex contestants also took to the stage, leaving the crowd awestruck. Some of the leading ladies from Telly town like Rashmi Desai Sandhu, Rati Pandey and Pooja Gor made their presence felt with power packed performances. Sampat Pal added her bit by putting up an act on women empowerment that left one and all thinking about the issues faced by a lot of women in the country. Dinesh Lal Yadav aka Nirahua danced to a hip hop number while Sapna entered in an all new Indian avatar with her trademark dialogue ‘Ullu banaya, bada mazza aaya’. Vishal and Karishma were seen dancing together inside the swimming pool on a sizzling romantic number. Neha Dhupia and Tushaar Kapoor added to the fun by giving a sneak peek into the hilarious gags that will be seen on their upcoming comedy show – ‘Nautanki – The Comedy Theatre’. Bollywood’s newest Laila aka Yana Gupta was seen dancing in the garden area as a huntress on the prowl to get her next prey.

The Alag Season of Bigg Boss definitely has been a memorable journey for all the contestants. From revealing the Padosi ghar, to going out of the house to a mall to shop for luxury budget, this season has definitely been filled with maximum number of movers and shakers! 3 months of staying away from family and giving up all sorts of luxuries and comforts, these 19 contestants have discovered their true selves. Being the most celebrated and awaited reality show, Bigg Boss will continue the legacy of delivering unmatched drama and action in seasons to come

I am not a psycho, says Imam Siddique

Yesterday Bigg Boss invited a few selected journalists to interact with the contestants inside the Bigg Boss house.

One of the reporter asked Imam, ‘Whatever you are doing inside the house is just to gain publicity or Imam is really pshyco in real life?’

Image consultant-anchor Imam Siddique said, “I am honest, sincere and humble human being.  I don’t think I am pshyco. And if you want to know whether Imam is psycho or not please ask Psychologist. I am like any other human being. Sometimes I lose temper and react spontaneously.”

Sapna interrupted in between and said, “To experience happiness you must taste the  grief...in the same way to stay normal we require some madness.  I really thank Imam ki woh pagaalpan iss ghar mein leke aaye hai. I am big fan of madness. You need to have a little crack to let the light in.”

 A couple of days back Imam was seen disagreeing with Salman Khan during a nomination episode. He even said ‘Time Out’ to Salman, when asked about this Imam said. "I did not have a tiff with him (Salman). I accept I misbehaved with him. I have respect for Salman. I have known him for 25 years."

He further added. "I don't think this is the right time to talk about that episode. I will talk about it when I will be out of the show.”

Imam Siddiqui is quite hopeful to win the show Bigg Boss season 6. If he wins the show, he would go to Haj and also start a school in Rajastan. Imam said, "I am here to play the game. If I win the show I will go to Haj... Then I will open a school in Rajasthan."

Trauma-Provider Imam Siddhique shifted to old Bigg Boss house

Bigg Boss makes sure that every season has some rude-baseless-argumentative personality. Be it self-proclaimed Kamaal Rashid Khan, motor-mouth Dolly Bindra or psycho-diva Pooja Missra. This season Bigg Boss has fashion industry’s ‘desperado’ Imam Siddique.

He was kicked out of Bigg Boss 6 for his psycho-like aggressive behaviour. He wore Aashka’s clothes and strutted around the house in a gay-like manner, replicating her cry-baby behaviour. Later he was brought back in the ‘Padosi Ghar’.  He again started traumatizing the inmates.  He is leaving no stone unturned to make ‘Padosi Ghar’ living hell. According to latest buzz he will be shifted to the old house because of his behaviour.

Our source added, “He apologised after he was thrown out, that;s why he was brought back. But he hasn’t changed a bit. He switched off the TV and tried his best to provoke the imates. After some time Santosh Shukla, Vrajesh Hirjee lost their cool and they started abusing Imam for his deeds.  To control the situation, creative’s of the Bigg Boss decided to move Imam to the old house.”

He might be shown entering the old house wearing a mask. The housemates (Delnaz Irani, Rajev Paul, Sapna Bhavnani, Mink, Vishal Karwal, Sana Khan, Niketan Madhok, Karishma Kotak, Urvashi Dholakia) will be seen ignoring him, because of 'ignore the obvious' task.  After the task Imam was welcomed warmly by inmates.

Monkey Business!

Episodic Synopsis – Day 43 The modern house housemates wake up to the song, ‘Bach Ke Rehna Re Baba’ describing their stay in the house perfectly. Simultaneously in the rural house, Imam Siddhique is seen discussing, how at the age of sixteen he stood firm by his decision in front of his father and can do the same with Bigg Boss as well if he is not heard. He continues to say that he is very excited to be a part of the game and that he knows he will come out as a winner.

He then admits that he talks in a manner wherein each person around him opens up and portrays their true character. Aashka replies back and the two have an argument when Aashka tells Imam that he should at times quietly listen to others too if he wants to be heard.

Next, the Luxury Budget task is announced in the modern house where all the housemates are to enact a ‘Shikari and Prani’ act. A few members are asked to be animals and a few are wardens of the zoo. The wardens are supposed to take charge of each animal. During the task, Rajev is seen commenting on each animal in the cage when Niketan, Karishma and Mink start talking about him and how he is always commenting on others and talking non-stop. At one point, Rajev is going to punish Karishma and by mistake his whip hits Mink, and the two end up having a heated argument. Rajev shouts at Mink, and then Karishma gets involved too and says that he is extremely rude and insensitive. Karishma loses her cool since Rajev Paul had not helped her sweep the floor when she was sick and was instead shouting at her. Delnaz and Urvashi Dholakia try to make peace but Rajev instead shouts back at Urvashi.

Meanwhile in the rural house Imam continues with his antics telling the two how he is putting up with the two of them because of the task. To this Aashka replies that he should at least not taunt while eating food that she has prepared and the two end up imitating each other. Later, Aashka and Nirahua are then seen talking about how Imam has never seen so many cameras before and hence is doing all this in desperation. In a while Imam realizes that he has done wrong and apologizes to Aashka.

In a while Imam Siddhique dresses up like a tiger and tells Nirahua that they have been paid to play a game and entertain all. He however ended up going a little overboard by hiding Aashka’s things, which further aggravated her anger. Her personal comment to Imam made him lose his cool and he said that he either wants an apology or he would want to quit the show. Even after Aashka apologizes, he refuses to go back in and destroys the house property adamantly saying he wants to leave.
