The highest paid actresses in Hollywood is in China for promoting her upcoming film Maleficent in which she is playing a vindictive fairy. Yesterday, the ultimate diva was presented with a Maleficent-inspired birthday cake. The cast and crew of her film, along with Brad Pitt and there kids, sang 'Shengri Kuaile' to her, which means 'Happy Birthday' in Chinese. Did she make a wish? "Like every mother, my wish every birthday is for my children to stay healthy, for my family to remain healthy, so I will continue that," said elated Jolie.
For those uninitiated, Brad Pitt was banned from China after he angered Chinese authorities with his participation in the film Seven Years in Tibet. But the caring father joined on the trip to basically look after their six kids.
The pretty damsel opened up about her fiancé Pitt‘s red carpet attack at the Maleficent première by Ukrainian prankster Vitalii Sediuk last week.
“People like that are an exception to the rule,” the noted actress told the Associated Press about the attack.
She further added, “Most fans are just wonderful. We’ve had a wonderful experience over the years, and we’re very grateful for their support, and it will not change the way we behave.”
