Star Plus magnum opus show Mahabharat , which is based on fifth Veda written by Maharshi Veda Vyãs show case the cultural history of great (mahãn) India (Bharat).

Produced by Swastik Productions, the show was expected to wrap up on 26th July, 2014. However it seems the makers and channel now want to show some more incidents from the divine volume Mahabharat, which contains eighteen parvas (chapters) and a hundred thousand shloks.

Mahabharat explains all aspects of life..

We heard the show, will now air till 24th August, 2014. For those uninitiated, earlier the show was extended by 100 episodes.

Shashi Sumeet Mittal or Rajan Shahi's show might replace Mahabharat.
