We have earlier reported that Karan Johar was approached to play father in Vikas Bahl's upcoming film 'Shaandar'. However, he turned down the offer. After that Sajid Khan was approached, but again Vikas got the thumbs down from 'Humshakals' director.

Sajid confirmed that he was offered the film, but he is not doing it. He is currently busy scripting his next film, which is a youthful rom-com.
