Ekta Kaul, the pretty dame who has been away from the small screen for a while now, is all set to make her presence felt again. This time around, the girl next door will be seen as the lead Rhea Saxena is Star Plus new show Mere Angane Mein. Ekta will be seen starring opposite Karam Rajpal, who will essay the role of Arjun Shrivastava.
Mere Angane Mein, a show based on the premise of clash of ideologies is all set to sizzle the small screen with its ensemble cast and unique storyline. Also seen in the show will be seasoned actor Varun Badola. Varun, who is a methodical actor firmly believes in spreading his knowledge about the art. In fact, he has taken up the task of training Ekta and Karam on sets. Sources reveal, “Varun is extremely cooperative and is often seen giving tips to Ekta and Karam, who are relatively younger actors. It is a good boost for them”
Confirming the same, Ekta said, “Mere Angane Mein is a concept driven show. My role is really appealing and I didn’t want to leave any stone unturned. Varun Sir is extremely helpful and keep giving us tips on how we can do better.”
