The series is titled 'Kasak' and is roughly inspired from the life of nurse Aruna Ramchandra Shanbaug, who was in a vegetative state since she was brutally raped in a Mumbai hospital. Hate Story' actress Ihana Dhillon has been roped in to play the lead role, where as Ishq Mein Marjaawan fame Vineet Raina will be seen as her boyfriend in the project. Now, the latest update is that Sharhaan has been roped in to play a doctor.
When contacted Sharhaan confirmed the buzz and told us, "This is my digital debut, so obviously I am a bit excited. In the series, I am playing the role of doctor Mohit, who wants to become dean of the hospital where Sheetal (Ihana Dhillon) got raped."
Talking about the shooting experience Sharhaan said, "It was awesome, Ihana is an old friend and I had earlier worked with Deepak ji (director) in Jhansi Ki Rani. I had a gala time reuniting with them."
'Kasak' is produced by Ullu App's CEO Vibhu Agarwal, co-produced by Dreamzz Images Studio and directed by Deepak Pandey.
