I am single and in a good space: Ashish Kapoor

Ashish Kapoor, who is currently seen playing the lead in the second season of Molkki 2 hasn't had much luck when it comes to romantic relationships. He was in a relationship with Priyal Gor, and then with Pearl Grey. Now, he affirmed that he is single, and wants to focus on his career.

He met producer Pearl Grey during the shoot of Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya 2 (Pearl was the executive producer of the show and Ashish played a pivotal character in it). They got engaged on July 12, 2021, and even got the date when Ashish proposed to Pearl inked on their backs. But they parted ways on a bitter note. 

In an interview with the leading newspaper, the actor said that he and Pearl had exchanged rings, but it was not an engagement. "It was simply so that people would come to know about our relationship and our commitment to each other, but destiny had other plans. I prefer not talking about it now," said Ashish.

Earlier Ashish was in a relationship with Priyal Gor. The duo acted in the show Dekha Ek Khwab in 2012. He said, "Priyal and I dated for a while, but things didn’t work out. We continue to be friends and have stayed in touch over the years. There was never any bitterness when we parted.”

The actor further stated that would prefer to stay single for some time. "I am single and in a good space. I just want to focus on my work now and move on," says Ashish.
