Aditya Singh Rajput was not keeping well

Actor, model, and casting director Aditya Singh Rajput was found dead in the bathroom of his apartment in suburban Andheri. Initial reports suggested that he died because of a drug overdose.

An official said, "Rajput was allegedly not keeping well for the last couple of days and he collapsed in the bathroom of his apartment in the Oshiwara area this afternoon. His maid noticed the fall and informed the building's security guard, following which he was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead."

He further added, "We have not found anything suspicious about Rajput's death so far. An accidental death report (ADR) has been registered and his body has been sent for autopsy."

DCP Krishnakant Upadhyay said told the media, "His servant and the watchman picked him up and put him in bed. Thereafter he was taken to the nearest hospital and later was referred to Trauma Care Hospital. We are not pretty sure about the drug overdose. It was claimed by the servant that he had a cold and a cough for a few days. The post-mortem is yet to be done, we cannot say anything before that."

Who was Aditya Singh Rajput?

Aditya was an actor, entrepreneur, model, and casting director. He was just 32 when he was found dead in his apartment's bathroom today (May 22, 2023). 

He was born in Delhi, and his family is from Uttarakhand. He started his modeling career when he was 17-year-old. He was first seen in Munna Bhai MBBS (2003), in which he played the role of a college student. He later appeared in films such as Krantiveer, Maine Gandhi Ko Nahi Mara, and U Me Aur Hum among others. 

He also acted in TV shows such as Code Red, Rajputana, Love, Cambala Investigation Agency, and so on. He was also a contestant in Splitsvilla 9 in 2016. In 2010, he starred in Tumpe Marna Hai with Shweta Kothari.
