Faisal Khan to play 'Suryaputra Karna'?

We reported earlier that, Dance India Dance Li'l Masters 2 winner Faisal Khan is approached to shake his legs in the upcoming season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Now we heard, the dance sensation might be seen playing the title role in the upcoming show 'Suryaputra Karna'..

Karan Sharma, who is currently seen in Sony Entertainment's Ek Nayi Pehchan recently went to St. Xavier's College(Mumbai) to judge the street plays at Malhar festival.

Talking about his experience as a judge, Karan said, "I had a fabulous time judging the Street Play at Malhar along with Sameer Soni and Love Sex Aur Dhokha actor Anshuman Jha. It was a great learning experience as I got an opportunity to know about NREGA (National Rural Employment Guarantee Act) and Army Act, 1950. The participants also showcashed the advantages of RTI (Right to Information) and RTE(Right to Education)."

Karan & Sameer were shocked when they saw the act performed by Darsheel Safary's team. "I was surprised to know how beggars made to disappear from Delhi streets during Commonwealth Games in 2010. Also, I was not aware about 'The Bombay Prevention of Begging Act, 1959', which criminalizes begging and has aimed to remove beggars from their current illegal profession," affirmed Karan.

Jai Kumar Nair will make Darsheel Safary dance to his tunes in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa..

Jai Kumar Nair, who shot fame by Zee TV’s dance reality show ‘Dance India Dance’ is gearing up for his stint in  fifth instalment of popular dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.  He will make child artist Darsheel Safary dance to his tunes.

Jai confirmed the news, “Yes I am participating in the show and I am really excited. Darsheel is more into western dance, but he knows Bollywood style jatka-matka. Like a dedicated dancer he tries to follow every step, he very well understands the rhythm. It’s not difficult for him to learn the moves. In previous season of Dance India Dance L'il Masters I have trained a few kids so it's not really difficult a task to train Darsheel. I try to gauge capability of kids and level and train them accordingly. I ensure that they do justice to my choreography and look good on stage at the same time."
