Dilip says Chavi to stay for some more time since she has not spoken to her brothers. Chavi says Sister’s duty is over she has to do the DIL duty as they are having visitors at home and her MIL will be alone. Baboo gives some goodies to Chavi to give to her in laws and tell that if time permits she will come and meet them. Chavi too tells Baboo to take care and all to be happy. Dilip takes blessings from his in-laws and leaves.
A phone comes to Suraj informing about the presentation tomorrow at 2 pm. Baboo asks whose phone and Suraj explains. Baboo wishes him. Mohit says whatever happens is only for good. As Suraj’s shop got closed he had the time to learn to operate the laptop. Emily says Suraj have to thank Sandhya as it is her idea. Baboo asks Sandhya to help him in the preparation of the presentation. She agrees and both leave.
In their room Sandhya helping Suraj in laptop. She tells this news has brought some happiness in Baboo and Bbabasa. Suraj agrees and tells have to find a way to bring down this unhappiness. As they are talking a picture of Baboo and Babasa with kahna pops up. Suraj feels sad on seeing that. Tells he never expected this to happen as they always loved him and now he is some where else. Sandhya tells a person in love as they are strong in love tend to do things in compulsion too. Meenakshi loves Vikram and that love made her do this. Suraj says in true love there wont be compulsion. A true love should overcome all this. he understands Meenakshi but her mistake made her love meaningless. He prays to God that Vikram must have the strength to overcome this situation and pardon Meenakshi. Sandhya says love and forgiveness come together if you love someone truly you will understand and forgive them. You because of your love always forgive all my small mistakes. And she shows a heart symbol with her fingers and asks him that will she remain like this in his heart always will he always forgive her small small mistakes. Suraj smiles and tells that he will always forgive her mistakes as he loves her so much. The have an eye lock Diya Baati BGM playing.
Meena sitting with Misri in the bed. Vikram enters Meenakshi hoping Misri’s laugh will make Vikram’s mind change. Misri calls Vikram uncle. Meena tells her to call him Pappa Misri refuses. Vikram upset and about to leave the room Meenaakshi pleads with him to understand the child. Vikram leaves the room without speaking Meena worried
Morning Baboo mixing mehendi Misri come out of the room calling mummy Meena tries to go to her but the child ignores her and goes to babasa and pari and starts playing. Baboo asks the child will she drink milk and the child nods. She tells Emily to get milk for Pari and Kahna,,,, then she manages to tell Misri and ask them to finish the work soon as they have apply mehendi for the evening teej pooja.
Suraj comes ready with Sandhya to leave for Jaipur. He get blessings from Baboo and Babasa. All wish him Sandhya comes out and says Best of luck.
Sandhya comes back and tell Baboo she is leaving for duty. Baboo tells not to forget about Teej Sandhya assures she will not forget this time Baboo asks how she will apply mehendi Emily suggests to buy mehendi cone and come
Zakir knock the door. All are somewhat shocked and worried to see him.
Baboo asks is everything alright and he says all ok he came to meet Sandhya and says to Sandhya that SP has ordered both of them to go to Jaipur
Outside the house Zakir tells Sandhya there is no full details as yet but they have to go to the government hospital in Jaipur and meet their seniors. Sandhya asks what work there in the hospital for them. The episode ends with Zakir staring at her

Diya Aur Baati Hum 19th August 2014 Written Episode Update
Kanha cries. Daisa says Kanha, strangers don’t tie rakhi. She says this two are not your sisters, you are not related to them. Misri holds Daisa’s hand and asks her to take her home. Daisa holds both of them and everyone looks on. Daisa leaves Misri’s hand and asks Bhabho to keep her. Meenakshi stops Daisa and gets scolded. Daisa says I have always bear your every mistake, but you stole my Kanha. She says leave my way. Bhabho stops her and says don’t do this, I know you are angry, you are hurt, even lour hearts are hurt. She apologizes to her. She requests her not to take Kanha, its not his mistake, they don’t know what happened.
She says see Misri, how she is looking at you, she regards you her Dadi even today. She says I m Kanha’s Dadi. Daisa says she has come to correct Meenakshi’s mistake. She says she will take Kanha. Babasa stops her and says its raksha bandhan today, don’t separate the kids. Sandhya says kids can’t bear this truth, they won’t understand, when they grow up, we will explain them. Mohit also requests Daisa. Emily says yes, let them be as it is, don’t take Kanha. Chavi also says the same.
Daisa says no way, she has come to take Kanha and will take him. Daisa says come Kanha. Bhabho asks her not to be so rude. Daisa says Meenakshi has made me this rude, I have always supported you as a sister and friend. She asks Sandhya is this not wrong in her law. Everyone cry as Daisa takes Kanha. Kanha cries and gives his hand to hand. Misri cries seeing Daisa leave. Vikram goes to stop Daisa. Vikram says Daisa, its not the kids’ mistake, they are innocent, its Meenakshi’s mistake, why should the kids suffer, please think by heart, punish me. I will become your slave, but don’t do this.
Vikram cries breaking down. Bhabho says Daisa to ahgree to her and give her Kanha. Daisa says you all are liars, I won’t listen to anyone. Daisa leaves with Kanha and goes her home. Kanha cries. Everyone looks on getting sad. Everyone cry as Kanha is gone. Sandhya asks them to come and see wahts happening here. She says I want to show something, come. Everyone go and see Misri feeding Pari as her elder sister and smile. Bhabho says my heart became somewhat light and prays to Lord. Misri and Pari bond well. Sandhya asks Chavi to tie rakhis to her brothers. She asks Sooraj to come. Bhabho looks on.

Diya Aur Baati Hum 18th August 2014 Written Episode Update
He says what Meenakshi did today was because of her love. Sandhya says yes, Meenakshi loved Kanha a lot, she knew the truth but has loved him equally, its true she has hurt us by hiding this, but she has stopped the child marriage and saves Misri, and proves mum’s love can sacrifice any greed. Sooraj says yes, think if Meenakshi did not save her. Misri’s life would be ruined, she has got beaten up and saved Misri. He reminds them of Meenakshi loving Kanha a lot and fighting with the veg vendor. He says think about Meenakshi who is alone there, we can’t understand her pain. He asks Vikram to forgive Meenakshi for the kids’ sake. Sandhya says yes Bhabho, you tell us that we have to sacrifice, how can we make Meenakshi separate from our family.
Vikram says so you think we should forgive her, fine you all forgive her, but I will never forgive her, all my life. He leaves. Bhabho looks at the kids and cries. Sooraj says I spoke to a lawyer, he said we can bail Meenakshi in the morning. Bhabho says but the pain she gave us. Sooraj says I know she did a mistake, but she is part of our family and we have to forgive her. Chavi asks Dilip that he came soon. He says early? She says oh, I did not see time being working all day. Dilip sees the utensils shining and likes it. She brings water for him.
She says the house is very clean, mum did this. She says mum went for shopping and I did this work. He says yes, I forgot, my Mama is coming tomorrow. Its good you did all the work. Chavi is upset as he did not ask about my rakhi shopping. She asks does he have envelops, as its her first rakhi after her marriage, she can’t buy gifts now, so she is thinking to give money to them. Pushpa comes with many shopping bags. Dilip asks Pushpa why did she not take Chavi with her on shopping. Chavi says no, she asked me do I want anything from the market and I said no.
Dilip asks why. Pushpa says maybe Chavi does not like my choice. Chavi says no, I liked Dilip so my choice is good. Pushpa says she will make tea for him. She says tale Chavi to market. Chavi smiles. Its morning. Sandhya makes tea for everyone. Emily takes care of Misri. Bhabhi and everyone look at Misri as she takes her mum’s name. Bhabho takes Kanha and feeds him. Sandhya takes Misri and feeds her. Chavi and Dilip come to them. Chavi meets Kanha and sees Misri. She says its great Misri became guest here. She asks Bhabho why are they all so upset, no sweets and no festival arrangements. Emily asks is it rakhi today.
Chavi says maybe they all kept surprise for her. She asks Sandhya is she right. She asks tell me whats the surprise. Sandhya welcomes Dilip and asks him to sit. Bhabho asks Chavi how is she, she had miscarriage so she should take care. Chavi says yes, don’t say this, tell me where is everyone, where is Meenakshi Bhabhi. Emily tells Sandhya what will we do now. Sandhya says Chavi is part of our family, so we should not hide anything from her. Chavi gets puzzled.
Zakir tells Sooraj that Meenakshi has helped us in stopping child marriage, so she got the bail, but there is court case against her. Meenakshi asks Sooraj did Vikram not come to take her. Sooraj says yes, don’t worry. Sooraj says lets go. Taisa asks Zakir can she go home, and she will go to Bhabho’s house and take her grandson from there. Zakir says your son has taken all the blame on his head, but the story does not end it here, you have got bail with Rs 4 lakhs, and your son has to be here or two years. Zakir asks them to leave but they still have to come to court, and court will decide how they are involved in this.
Chavi comes to know everything. She says Kanha is mine and pacifies Vikram. Dilip looks on. Bhabho asks Chavi not to cry and tie the rakhis. Taisa and her relatives are freed. Taisa says she will not let her grandson stay at Bhabho’s house, who is stranger to her now. Meenakshi gets worried.

The rakhi ceremony is going on. Sooraj brings Meenakshi home. Taisa comes to Bhabho’s house and shouts stop. Everyone look at her.

Diya Aur Baati Hum 16th August 2014 Written Episode Update
She says you have done this with your first child, such a big cheat, why are you apologizing to me, even the Lord won’t forgive you. Meenakshi cries. Kanha comes to her. Bhabho says see he came to you seeing you cry, tell him he is not your son, you are not his mother. Meenakshi hugs Kanha and says she can’t do this with her son, he is her son. She says I can’t tell my Kanha, I love him a lot. He kisses Kanha and apologizes to him. Pari wakes up and Emily goes to take her.
Misri plays with the toys. Everyone cry. Babasa says we can’t bear this, we are old and can’t see the kids getting away from her, what about Misri and Kanha. Bhabho says Kanha will be with us. She takes Kanha and hugs him. She gives him to Babasa and says its yours, he will not go anywhere, he is your grandchild. She says she can’t forget Kanha. Sandhya tells Sooraj that Kanha is an important part of their lives. Mohit comes to Kanha and folds his face. He says he will give him chocolate daily, he won’t go anywhere and will be with us. He kisses Kanha.
Emily says Kanha is Pari’s brother and will always be. Misri says she wants to go to her mum. Meenakshi hears her. Everyone looks at Misri. Bhabho takes Misri and Babasa takes Kanha. Vikram is quietly watching them. Kanha sees Bhabho with Misri and cries. Kanha asks Bhabho to take him. Bhabho leaves Misri and takes him, but holds Misri’s hands. She comes to Meenakshi and asks her how will the kids understand her swapping, they are small, tell me whom should I take and whom to give to Daisa. She says no mum will forgive you.
Meenakshi apologizes to Vikram and says she will be like he says from now on. Zakir comes to them and tells Sandhya that he got a complaint against Meenakshi. Everyone looks on and is shocked when Vikram says he did the complaint. Meenakshi looks at him. Vikram says come Zakir, arrest her, she is Meenakshi, who has done the bad crime to swap kids, unfortunately she was my wife, I m not related to her now, put her in jail, punish her for her big mistake, Its my mistake that I married her. He says even my parents are at fault, as they made me marry her. Its Sooraj and Sandhya’s mistake, my siblings’ mistake as they have loved her. Arrest all of us also as we all did mistakes.
Zakir asks Vikram to understand the situation as the past can’t be changed, but the present has to be managed. Hetal comes to Meenakshi and asks her to come with her to the police station. Meenakshi apologizes to Vikram. She starts leaving and Kanha cries seeing her. Zakir says I m sorry. Everyone see Kanha crying. Bhabho calms down Kanha.

Sooraj says we have to forgive Meenakshi for the kids’s sake. Vikram says you all forgive her, but I will never forgive her. Kanha and Misri sleep.

Diya Aur Baati Hum 15th August 2014 Written Episode Update
Meenakshi cries. Bhabho says give Misri to Babasa, he will feed her food. Sooraj asks Meenakshi to tell Bhabho, as they have less time. Meenakshi says Bhabho, I want to tell something important. Bhabhi sees the wound on her forehead and is worried. She asks her how did she get hurt, what did she do this time. Sooraj says Meenakshi is fine, she will tell you. Meenakshi says she did a big mistake. Bhabho asks what. Vikram comes and sees Misri. Misri holds his hand and he looks at her. Misri says Vikram Kaka came. Kanha goes to Vikram saying Papa. Kanha holds his other hand. Vikram looks at both of them at either sides and is worried.
Sandhya and Emily come there and see the two kids holding Vikram’s hands. Sandhya asks Emily to take the kids inside. Meenakshi is shocked to see the gold chain she has hidden in the laddoo. Sandhya tells Meenakshi that Sudha had been writing the pink chits to her. Meenakshi is shocked. She says Sudha told the truth to Vikram. Vikram looks at Meenakshi. Babasa and Bhabho ask whats happening, tell us. Meenakshi tells Vikram she did a big mistake and she was afraid to tell him. Mohit comes and sees everyone worried. He closes the door.
Bhabho asks Vikram to say whats the matter, what did Meenakshi do. Did she lie or steal anything? Mohit asks Sandhya what happened. Bhabho tells Meenakshi that she understood she did something wrong, tell me what did she do. Sooraj asks Meenakshi to tell Bhabho, its about your motherly love. Meenakshi says Kanha……… Bhabho asks what Kanha. Babasa says tell me fast, what happened to our Kanha, he is fine. Meenakshi says Kanha is not your grandson, but Taisa’s grandson. Vikram cries.
Meenakshi says Misri is your granddaughter. I had given birth to Misri and changed her with Kanha in the hospital. Everyone is shocked. Bhabho asks is she mad to say this, Kanha is our blood. Babasa says is she mad, Kanha is ours, how can she joke like this. Babasa goes and brings Kanha and asks Meenakshi to see he is like him, same to same. Meenakshi cries. Babasa asks her what she wants, gold, silver….. Bhabho says yes, she will give her anything g but don’t say this. Babasa cries and says he does not like this joke, she can’t tell Kanha is not theirs.
Mohit asks Meenakshi whats her new drama, tell what you want. Bhabho says tell me what you want, don’t joke like this next time. Sooraj says Meenakshi is saying right. Bhabho and Babasa are shocked. Sooraj says Misri is Meenakshi’s daughter and Kanha is Taisa’s grandson. He says this truth would have not come out, if Taisa was not doing Misri’s child marriage. Sandhya says she got the hospital records checked and Meenakshi is right. She says Meenakshi gave birth to a girl and Taisa’s bahu gave birth to a son.
Bhabho asks Meenakshi what did she do, how can she give her child to someone else. Babasa hugs Kanha. Bhabho scolds her. Meenakshi its in Bhabho’s feet asking for forgiveness. She says I did this for the greed to have a son, to become your fav bahu. She says she has swapped the babies in the hospital, I did mistakes many times and you have forgiven me, but I m saying you don’t forgive me, punish me that I remember till my death. Bhabho looks at her.

Diya Aur Baati Hum 14th August 2014 Written Episode Update
Sooraj asks Taisa that she knows its crime for child marriage and Misri is so small who can’t take her name, what happened to her senses. Taisa asks him not to give any lecture, Misri is my grand daughter, who are you to interfere. Meenakshi says I m her mum, I gave her birth. Everyone is shocked. Vikram cries thinking about Misri who caught his finger, she identified him, but a father could not identify his daughter. He says why did Meenakshi do this, how can she make a father away from his daughter. Sandhya and Emily cry. Taisa asks Meenakshi is she mad. Meenakshi says I gave birth to Misri, she is part of my heart and body, she is not yours, but Bhabho’s grand daughter.
She says she is my blood. She says I can’t see this happening with my blood, my daughter. Sooraj can’t believe this. Meenakshis ays she won’t let this marriage happen. She says give my daughter and takes Misri. She hugs Misri and says I m your mum. She removes her ghunghat and bridal things. She kisses Misri and says I gave you birth. Taisa asks is she mad to say this again. Emily says how can any mum do this. She says how can she swap her child with someone else. Sandhya says even when we forget this, the question is why she did this, she has some reason, else she won;tt give her child to anyone else.
Vikram asks Sudha to tell whats the reason why Meenakshi did this. Sudha cries. Meenakshi sees mahendi on Misri’s hands and apologizes to her. She says she will make her literate like Sandhya, I will make you officer and you will shine my name. Meenakshi cries. She says I will not let your life ruin in child marriage. Taisa asks Meenakshi what is she saying, how dare she tell this. Taisa scolds her. Meenakshi says if I did not have courage today, no mum would have forgiven me, the truth is she is my daughter.
She says I can’t see this, my love made me go against you, I m criminal of you all, as I have swapped Misri with Kanha in the hospital, to have a son. Everyone is shocked. Meenakshi says Misri is my daughter. Taisa says do you think I m mad that I will believe you. Sooraj asks Meenakshi not to tell like this, it’s a big thing she is saying, if she is saying to save Misri, don’t worry, police is with you, you know swapping child is a crime. Sudha says Meenakshi did this to have a son, to please Bhabho with a grandson and make you proud of having a son. She says Meenakshi loves you a lot so she did this. Vikram says yes I can see her love that she swapped kids.
Sandhya says lets go home. Vikram says which home where I have a wife like Meenakshi. Sandhya says I know she did wrong, but please lets go home. Sooraj asks Meenakshi to tell the truth. Meenakshi says I m not lying, I know you won’t believe me, I lied many times in life, so no one believes me, but Misri is really my daughter, I swear on her. She hugs Misri and cries. Taisa’s bahu asks her not to come in Meenakshi’s words, she is a liar and wants my daughter, I won’t give her. Meenakshi says no, she is my daughter, go to hospital if you want to know the truth.
She says I m ready to do any tests, she is my daughter. She says no one can deny this. Everyone is stunned. The guy’s family sign to run, but Zakir stops them. Zakir says he will not leave the pandit and Taisa’s family too. Everyone will be charged in this case. He says he will not leave anyone. The guests apologize as they came as relatives. Zakir says come with me else I will drag you to police station. He asks Lohya to arrest all of them. Zakir thanks Sooraj for helping police for doing his duty and he will take action on the, but what Meenakshi did is a legal crime. She says I have to take action against her. Sooraj says yes. Zakir leaves.
Chavi says she has done all the work and now can go to market and get best rakhis for her brothers. She says but Dilip’s document is going to come, someone has to be at home, but Pushpa will manage. Psuhpa stops Chavi and says she has to go to market to get rakhis, does she want anyone. Chavi gets an idea and asks her to get utensil shine powder. She explains the address. Pushpa does not understand. Chavi asks what happened, I know its tough, so I was thinking will you find or not, shall I go and get the items. She says I was not going as Dilip’s document is coming, but things should look good infront of guests, you receive the post.
Pushpa says I m glad to see you worry for home, but you have to arrange home items too, you be at home. She says ask the maid to clean the utensils and change the curtains at home. She says tell me what you want, I will bring. Chavi says nothing. Pushpa leaves. Chavi says she left leaving all work on me and went to market alone, I will do something that she sends me to market herself. Meenakshi tells Sooraj that she did not tell Vikram, but when she has given Misri to someone else, she did not sleep with peace. She says she loves Kanha a lot, but I could not forget Misri.
Zakir comes with Taisa. Taisa argues with Meenakshi. Meenakshi says she is my daughter, I won’t give. Sooraj says we will discuss and solve this, where will you take her, you are not going home, this truth will come out one day, so be patient. Taisa gets angry and says I will not leave Meenakshi. Zakir says come and takes her. Misri cries and Taisa stops seeing her cry. She leaves. Misri gives hand to Taisa as she wants to go to her. Sooraj says Meenakshi lets go home and talk. She says what will I tell them, how will I explain them. Sooraj says you have to accept your mistake, regret for it, you have to face it.

Bhabho asks Vikram what did Meenakshi do. Sooraj asks Meenakshi to say. Meenakshi says Kanha is not your grandson, he is Taisa’s grandson. Bhabhi is shocked and goes to her in anger.

Diya Aur Baati Hum 13th August 2014 Written Episode Update
Sandhya is shocked seeing it. Emily says we have to do something. Sandhya says yes, we have to find out who is the blackmailer and what is Kanha’s secret. Emily says but if she does not get the laddoo in her room, she will be worried. Sandhya says yes, you are right and asks Emily to make another pink chit and write time has changed and she has to pay tomorrow. Meenakshi should feel blackmailer has sent it. Emily says fine. Sandhya asks Emily to get ready in Meenakshi’s saree.
Sandhya asks Emily to look like Meenakshi and keep some other box at the place where blackmailer said. Emily asks how can I and why. Sandhya says I don’t have time to explain now, he will be waiting. Emily asks will you come with me. Sandhya says I think he knows us, I will be close to you, not with you. She asks Emily to make him think you are Meenakshi. Emily says I understood but you please be near me. Sandhya says trust me, I will be close. Emily leaves. Sandhya says she has to tell Sooraj, but he went to deliver sweets.
She says she has to find who is this blackmailer. Meenakshi thinks she can’t ruin Misri’s life, she is alone and she can’t stop them. She thinks to call Sandhya but how, she needs Taisa’s phone hugging he r acting as a guest hiding her face, she tries to get her phone as its next to her. Taisa comes ot know that lady lied and gets suspicious. She gets the phone by much difficulty and calls Sandhya, the call does not connect. She thinks whom to call now and calls Sooraj.
Meenakshi tells Sooraj about Taisa doing Misri’s marriage. He says what, but its child marriage, which is illegal. He is shocked and asks her where is she. Taisa looks for the lady. Meenakshi says Taissa does not know law and feel girls are burden, I called Sandhya but can’t connect, please stop this marriage. Sooraj says fine, don’ worry, tell me where are you, I will talk to Sandhya and come. She gives him the address and asks him to come. Sooraj says I m coming and ends the call.
Taisa looks for her phone. Meenakshi hides from them and cries. Emily dresses like Meenakshi and goes to keep the sweet box. Vikram sees her and thinks she is Meenakshi, and goes to see where is she going. Meenakshi says I won’t let this injustice happen, don’t worry my daughter. She says if the marriage happens, nothing can be done, why did Sooraj not come till now. She panics. Emily keeos the sweet box and Vikram sees it. Meenakshi thinks to do something herself.
He wants to talk her but Sandhya dresses as the cleaner stops Vikram showing her face. She says someone is blackmailing Meenakshim, so Emily became like her and I m waiting for her. He asks but why. He says lets swear up and down to we won’t deceive one another. He says lets tell everything today for last time. Meenakshi thinks to let him know the truth.he lets her know about his squash on a wonderful lady on his shop. He commends the lady and she says stop it, I caught on. He says I provided for her huge rebate, I didn’t think anything offbase. She says I know you adore me a ton, and you can’t mislead me. He says yes, same from my side. He says I adore you a considerable measure, go ahead now your turn, let me know any mystery on the off chance that you are covering up. He says I won’t get irate. Meenakshi shrouds the crate and clears out. Everybody is joyful at home today as Sooraj recovered his shop. Babasa discusses Kanha and says he ought to have all propensities like me. Vikram says Bhabho makes Kanha have two three laddoos, why does she cherish him to such an extent. Vikram says love us as well, we are additionally here. Everybody grin. Bhabho says grandchildren are more dear than kids. She says I cherish Pari similarly. Mohit says we all know, first kid is extraordinary to everybody. Meenakshi hears this and is miserable.

Sandhya and Sooraj have a discussion. Diya Aur Baati Hum 9th August 2014 Written Episode Update
Kavita breaks the coconut and proceeds to cut the ribbon. Kavita thinks about Bhabho’s words and smiles as she has failed Bhabho today. Sandhya comes there in the nick of the time and asks them to stop. Everyone look at her. Sandhya says the papers are between us, this sop can’t be opened now. Sandhya shows the papers and everyone smile. Balkishan gets tensed. Kavita takes the papers from Sandhya and looks at them. She asks what papers are this, they are fooling you again, this is fake paper. Meenakshi says Kavita, our Sandhya does not lie ever, and she can find anything when she wants.
Sandhya says this time Kavita ji is fine, as its fake papers, as she did not leave original papers at her home. Babasa says then how did she claim this. Sandhya says its between us here. Everyine is puzzled. Sandhya says will you want to see and checks her hand. Sandhya cuts Kavita’s sleeve by a scissor. Kavita asks are you mad. Sandhya gets the papers and everyone is shocked. Sandhya says see this, here is the real paper. Kavita has tied the papers to her hand by rubber bands.
Taisa says she is very smart girl. Sandhya gets the papers and gives it to Sooraj, as it belongs to him. Sooraj smiles. Kavita says I will not leave you Sandhya. Bhabho comes o Kavita and slaps her hard. Everyone is shocked. Bhabho scolds Kavita and praises Sandhya. She asks her to go and do whatever she want. Zakir and his staff come there. Zakir taunts Kavita for doing such a cheap work. He says I heard everything and saw, you have cheated Sooraj and was taking his property, so I arrest you.
Kavita says what is this nonsense, what are you saying. Sandhya says you can’t give any answer now, you are caught. Balkishan tries to run away. Vikram and Meenakshi taunt Kavita and she gets insulted once more. Mohit sees Balkishan going and catches him. He asks him to support Kavita in jail. Zakir arrests them and leaves. Sandhya talks to Sooraj and says congrats for getting back your shop, dream and life. Everyone smile. Sooraj thanks her.
Sooraj makes her wear the flower garland and everyone clap. Diya aur baati…………plays…………. Sandhya makes him wear it too. Bhabho says she is proud of them, they are like Diya and Baati, one is incomplete without the other. People are glad and asks Sooraj to make laddoos and distribute. Babasa says we also want it. Sooraj says yes, all deserve it, as you all have supported us. Sooraj has to make the sweet and does the prayers in his shop. Everyone look at him and smile.

Diya Aur Baati Hum 8th August 2014 Written Episode Update
Meenakshi sees that man buying some jewellery and giving money to the jeweler. She says I don’t understand anything. The man leaves. She talks to the jeweler and asks him to show the design which he has shown that guy. He says Kanha can’t wear it. She says we are rich people and can buy anything. He says not about money and shows the Mangalsutra, saying the man bought this. She thinks its very small that can’t get in any woman’s neck, for whom is it. She asks its small, it wont’ fit any woman, why did he make it. Another customer come and he gets busy. She sees the size of mangalsutra and is puzzled.
Bhabho and Sandhya are finding the papers. Meenakshi comes home and gets another pink chit in Kanha’s clothes. She reads it and its demand of Rs 50000 this time. She gets tensed and cries. Emily comes and Meenakshi hides the chit. Emily says lets go, to the jeweller now. I will find out who is this blackmailer. Who is using my name and playing such a big game.
Emily asks Meenakshi to hurry up. Meenakshi says she has work for Kanha, I don’t think he will tell us anything, he can’t help us, I think lets leave it. Emily says you wanted to know and now you are changing your mind. She says you don’t know he can be dangerous for us. Emily says we can take Sandhya’s help/ Meenakshi says no, don’t tell her, she is worried about Sooraj’s shop, you also forget it now. Emily thinks what happened to Meenakshi. They hear Balkishan came to take the shop and go out to see.
Sandhya says Bhabho, we are finding the place at the wrong place. Bhabho asks where is the papers. Sandhya thinks. Balkishan shows his shop name board and everyone is shocked seeing Sooraj’s shop name board come down. Meenakshi asks Vikram to stop them, they are opening a ssaree centre shop, which can ruin our business too. Balkishan says see their anger and taunts everyone. He says just 45mins now, you all can’t do anything. Vikram comes in between and saves Sooraj’s shop board. Balkishan asks him to go. Kavita comes there and says Sooraj ji…Everyone look at her.
She says Balkishan is right, now the time has come, tell me I can recommend you, if you want my help. Meenakshi says let Sandhya come, then she will see you. Sandhya smells something and goes to see. She thinks about Kavita. Bhabho says leave it, we don’ t have time now. Sandhya says I think I know where did Kavita keep those papers.Bhabho asks where is it then. Sandhya says I know it. Bhabho says we have 15mins now. They leave from there. Kavita and Balkishan are happily waiting for the 15mins to get over and taunt Sooraj, asking him to come and be the chief guest of his shop. Kavita sees Mohit getting angry and says she will call police. She warns them to stay calm.

Diya Aur Baati Hum 7th August 2014 Written Episode Update
Bhabho and Sandhya hear her nonsense. Sandhya defends Sooraj and says he is not a coward. Kavita asks why did she come. Sandhya says for the same thing, you are thinking, but my way is different, I came to take the shop papers. Kavita says you won’t get it, if you don’t agree to my condition. Sandhya says I have promised Sooraj that I will return his happiness, I will take papers from here and leave. Dilip asks Chavi to get ready fast. He asks Pushpa where is his mobile. She says its on charging. Chavi comes and says she made food, and is leaving now. Dilip smiles.
She says I will go and change. She asks Pushpa to give her jewellery. Pushpa asks her to go and get it herself. Chavi goes and gets the keys. Chavi hides the keys in her apron. Kavita asks Sandhya to find the papers if she thinks she is smart. Sandhya looks for the papers. Kavita smiles. Sandhya calls Bhabho. Kavita says if they don’t get the papers, they will lose the job forever. Chavi tells Pushpa the keys are not here. Pushpa says its there, see. Chavi does acting and says its not there.
Pushpa says you won’t get anything and asks Dilip to see. Dilip checks and does not get the keys. Chavi silently keeps the keys near Pushpa. Dilip says its not there, you see. Pushpa says what. Chavi says you go alone, I can’t come like this. Dilip says fine. Chavi asks him to take his phone. The keys fall from Pushpa and Dilip is puzzled. Chavi gets the keys and says why did you tell me its there in drawer, looks like you are forgetting things. Dilip says yes maybe. Chavi thinks I will make Dilip away from his mum, he won’t hear her one day, and this way she will lose.
Emily and Meenakshi come to the jewellery shop and asks about the ring bill, which e sold to her mum in resale, so can he say who gave him the ring. He says come later. Emily says please try. He asks we have many customers, come later. Meenakshi says I had hopes. A man comes there and Meenakshi thinks he is the new relative of Taisa. Emily asks Meenakshi what happened. Meenakshi says it’s a saree shop, I have to see stock, you go home, I will see it and come. Emily leaves.
Kavita asks Sandhya to get the papers in two hours, and get the shop, else accept this that Sooraj is a fool, who thinks relations and family is his strength. She says no one helps without any selfish motives. Sandhya says I will get the papers today. They see all the boxes fallen. Ssandhya taints Kavita. Sandhya and Bhabho look for the papers. Kavita and Anu heat the corn and eat it. Sandhya says its something like burning smell. Bhabho says don’t know where Kavita has hidden the papers. Kavita asks did they get the papers, its one hour now. She says I have to go from here now, in some time, you carry on your search, I have to go as Balkishan invited me in his shop’s inauguration.

Diya Aur Baati Hum 5th August 2014 Written Episode Update
Kavita comes to taunt Sooraj and Sandhya again. She says Sooraj won’t be able to say you, as he does not have courage in him. You keep him scared and in control. Kavita says a man loves his manhood a lot. Sandhya says one min Kavita……….. who are you to say this to my husband. Kavita says its good you got angry, as its about your husband’s pride, leave him from your Pallu, make him a man, a husband.
She says Sooraj you can make her do this, can’t you. She says am I right Sooraj, you are actually scared to lose her, thinking she will leave you, as I have left you. Sandhya asks what do you want to say, what will he not tell me. Kavita says fine, I will tell it, and make Sooraj’s work easy. She tells Sandhya about her condition she kept two days before, to get the shop back, as she will return the shop papers, but my condition is small one, its you have to come to me and beg me to get the papers.
Bhabho and Babasa looks on. Kavita says then I will give you the shop papers having pity on you, but such men are wearing bangles here, as you rule here, so he has refused to my proposal. She asks Sandhya will she do this for her husband, will she bend her head infront of her, he did so much for you, what did she do for him. She tells what all Sooraj did for her, now its time to return his favors, will she do this. Sooraj says Kavita…….. I don’t want anything on the cost of my wife’s esteem, not because I m scared of her, but I respect her.
He says this is just a shop, I can sacrifice such 100 shops for her pride and self esteem. He says marriage is on love and trust, and you will not understand this. He asks her to leave and not come back again. Sandhya looks on. Kavita says you are doing a big mistake, you will have to pay a lot for this, get ready. When you lose the shop, you will know. Sandhya goes to her room and Sooraj comes. He asks what happened, you have to go on duty now. She says I m going on duty, not as ASP Sandhya, but as your wife’s duty. She asks him to fill her maang. He asks where is she going. She says I will answer you and holds his hand. She asks him to promise he will always support her. She promises him that she will get his respect back, now its her turn to do something for him. She says you will have the shop keys again, then Kavita’s pride will be under your feet. Emily talks to Meenakshi and they plan to get the blackmailer. She says we will go to get him this time. Mohit comes and sees everyone upset. Sandhya comes and sees Bhabho crying. Sandhya lights the diya at the tulsi plant. Sooraj looks on.
They pray. Sandhya says she is going for some important work and takes Bhabho’s blessings. Bhabho says we all are with you, but where are you going. Sandhya says Kavita’s home. Sandhya says I won’t come back empty hand, but with shop papers. Bhabho says I will go with Sandhya. Sooraj smiles. Meenakshi says why will you go. Sandhya says I have to go. Meenakshi says a wife fights with Yamraaj too, but its easy as he is good with dharm and karam, but Kavita is a big cheat and smart, I m sacred of her. Sooraj says I will also come.
Sandhya says no, everyone needs you here, you always trusted me, just trust me this time too. Everyone worry for Sandhya. Mohit says we all trust you, I will come with you. Bhabho says no, I will go with her. Everyone looks on.
