Ullu App recently threw a success bash, which was a well-attended affair by the luminaries of the entertainment industry. Vibhu Agarwal, CEO of Ullu App unveiled the trailer of their upcoming web series Peshawar, The Bull Of Dalal Street and Kasak. We reported yesterday that Amar Upadhyay and Aman Verma are approached to play Jaya Bachchan's sons in Sony Tv’s Vasundhara, which is based on the Gujarati novel Yog Viyog (written by Hiralal Upadhyay). However, sources close to the Aman Yatan Verma inform us that the actor has backed out of the show owing to date issues.

Aman was considered for the role of middle son of Vasundhara (Jaya Bachchan). He was almost finalised but unfortunately he lost out on this crisp role.   

Sources from the channel have revealed that, Aman was approached but he was asking for more money so they finalized someone else to play the role.

Jaya Bachchan is all set to make small screen debut with a show title Vasundhara, which is based on the Gujarati novel Yog Viyog (written by Kajal Oza Vaidya).

Jaya is playing a strong & dignified single parent with 4 kids, she takes the fact that her husband had left her with a pinch of salt. We heard, Amar Upadhyay and Aman Verma are approached to play Jaya's sons.

Amar is considered for the role of middle son. For those uninitiated, Jaya had given him his first break in 'Dekh Bhai Dekh'.

Both Amar and Aman remained unavailable  for comment.

Cezanne Khan & Neha Marda declined Bigg Boss 6?

So many names like Kiran Janjani, Nityanand Swami, Arjun Bijlani, Aashka Goradia, Urvashi Dholakia, Bhojpuri star Nirahuwa, Vrijesh Hirjee, Aman Verma, Karanvir Bohra and Nupur Mehta etc speculated for the Bigg Boss season 6.

There are a few actors who were offered by they declined the show, two such names are Neha Marda and Cezanne Khan.

Cezanne Khan, who shot fame by playing Anurag Basu in ‘Kasautti Zindagii Kay’said, “Endemol approached me for Bigg Boss but I declined the offer as I am not interested in doing reality shows.” (Well..we heard he was very keen in participating in the show. May be he lied because he has signed a non disclosure agreement)

Balika Vadhu’s Genha, Neha Marda also confirmed that she was approached but she turned down the offer as she doesn’t want to become part of controversies.

Aashka Goradia in 'Bigg Boss 6'?

Sixth installment of Colors' most awaited, popular and controversial reality show Bigg Boss is set to hit the tube from October 7. 'Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch' will go off air on October 5, 2012 to provide prime time-slot to Bigg Boss 6.

Bhojpuri actor Nirahua aka Dinesh Lal Yadav was approached to participate in the show and Nupur mehta openly accepted that she is going to do Bigg Boss 6.

According to the grapevine Aashka Goradia is the latest name to have been approached by the production house. She was last seen as Kalavati Tai in Laagi Tujhse Lagan. We hear that Aman Verma has been also approached.

The host of the show, Salman Khan, has promised that the content this season will be cleaner and suitable for family-viewing. Hope the daily soap actress will ensure that Salman's promise of airing clean content isn't broken.


We tried to contact Aashka and even sent her a text message, but got no revert till the time of filing the story.
