In the precap of yesterday’s episode of Bigg Boss 8, we saw the contestants of have been assigned a new task 'Party Toh Banti Hai', wherein each of them will get to invite their celebrity friends inside the house of controversy.

Aishwarya Sakhuja fondly known as Toasty of Saas Bina Sasuraal was last seen in Lifee Ok's ‘Welcome: Baazi Mehmaan Nawazi Ki’. Bubbly actress is all set to co-host a reality show for the first time.

According to our sources, “Aishwarya is finalized to host Star Plus' Sriman vs Srimati along with Karan Wahi. There will be 8 celebrity couples, and husbands will be pitted against wives. Dimpy and Rahul Mahajan, Sargun Mehta and Ravi Dubey, Tanaaz and Bhaktyaar Irani, Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary, Shefali Zariwala and Parag Tyagi and Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhansuhali, will be seen in the show.”

We heard Aishwarya is extremely confident to host the show. We tried to reach her, but remained unavailable to comment.

Shriman V/S Shrimati will commence soon, probably around 3 April 2013.

Rahul Mahajan and Dimpy Mahajan back as wild card entrants in Nach Baliye 5!

According to our sources, “Rahul & Dimpy are the 2nd wild card entrants after Parag Tyagi & Shefali Zariwala. They already shot their comeback performance yesterday."

Both Rahul & Dimpy remained unavailable to comment..

Santosh Shukla Casting Couched?

Actors often accuse producers, directors and casting folks of making sexual advances to them. The latest victim of the casting couch is Santosh Shukla, who was last seen in ‘Kahani Chandrakanta Ki’, where he played Virendra singh.

Santosh recently updated his status on his networking profile, “HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED...Is it mandatory for an actor to compromise to get the work? I am not ready to compromise, does it mean I will never ever get the work?..I don't think so....I believe in myself and I'm sure my hard work will pay off one day..I big NO NO for casting couch..”.

This status update left everyone rolling their eyes including his Chadrakanta’s co-stars Dimpy Mahajan and Inder Kumar Sarraf. After reading Dimpy and Inder’s comments, one can easy guess Santosh was really shocked after this incident as he is not attending any calls.

We were trying to reach him after this status update but he is neither responding to calls nor replying to the sms. Today we caught up Santosh with the help of actor Inder Kumar.

Santosh has claimed that he was approached by well known director for a role in his upcoming film. That director started touching his private areas while conversation and when Santosh opposed he mis-behaved with him.

Santosh said, “I got a call from one of the renowned director, he had offered me a film. We communicated for about a week on the phone then we decided to meet in person to discuss further about the project. We met at Chai Coffee, versova. After discussing he said let's go for a walk along the beach nearby. Versova beach is not very crowded and is quite lonely. While our conversation he said, ‘You look sexy and hot Santosh!.’ I took this as compliment.”

He further added, “He started giving me indications. To avoid him I said, we are getting late we will meet sometime later again. After this he started touching my private parts. I was shocked at the moment and said that I am not interested in your project. That guy started using abusive language. Ohh God! He was pshyco, sex freak. I really really wanted to slap him but then I thought aise ghatiya logo ke muh lagne se kya fayaada."

Santosh is not ready to reveal his name. “I don't want to name anyone and create controversy. I don’t even want to talk about this incident to anyone. Let’s not talk about this,” quips Santosh.

Well, we don’t know whether Santosh is narrating the right version of the story. It cannot be believed or guessed without hearing the other person’s view, however casting couch seems to have become a part and parcel of the glamour world.

Dimply Mahajan to add pinch of Salt and spice up ‘Kahani Chandrakanta Ki’!!

Dimpy Mahajan got overnight fame with her marriage to politician’s son Rahul Mahajan.  The lady, who is surrounded by a series of endless controversies, is back on TV with ‘Kahani Chandrakanta Ki’. The show is second installment of ‘Chandrakanta’, which is Doordarshan’s biggest grosser in 90’s.

Despite of strong story line and fabulous performance, sequel of fantasy drama is not able to garner TRPs. Recently the plot has been changed from the battle between Naughad, Vijaygadh and Chunargadh to the love story of icchadhaari naag and nagin.

Maharaj Virendra Singh (Santosh Shukla) is shown to be a snake Jeewan in his past life. Dimpy will be playing the role of her beloved icchadhari naagin Jawla. She plots a vengeance on a dacoit, Mangal Singh (Inder Kumar) because he killed Jeewan. Earlier Meghana Patel was playing Jawla, but then production house and the creative team replaced her.

Dimply seems excited after accepting full-fledged role in a mythological series, “I am super thrilled about my role. As a child I was always fascinated with mythological shows. I immediately said yes when Sunil ji (producer Sunil Agnihotri) offered me Chandrakanta.”

Santosh Shukla who is playing Maharaj Virendra Singh said, “It’s a great opportunity to work with Dimpy, she is perfect combination of beauty with brain. We shot a big dance sequence on Nagin film’s song Tere Sang Pyar Main Nahin Todna.”

Will Dimpy’s entry boost the TRPs of Chandrakanta? Only time will tell.
