Miditech India's exceptional show Airlines for Star Plus starring Tulip Joshi which had high expectations fell flat on its face. Now we hear that the show will go off air on 1st February, 2015.

Actor Gaurav Chopraa, who was last seen as Raghuvendra Pratap Rathore in Colors’ Uttaran will now be playing a prominent role in Star Plus next.

According to our sources, "Gaurav has been roped to play a very important character in Sunshine Productions' show 'Hotel'. Aakanksha Singh already signed the dotted lines for this finite series show with around 26 episodes."

The show is expected to go on-air from February 2015 and is supposed to replace Miditech India’s Airlines.

Ekta Kapoor's Devdas to replace Uttaran or Madhubala?

Soap opera queen and producer Ekta Kapoor is working on her next fictional show, which will be official adaption of Saratchandra Chattopadhyay's popular novel 'Devdas'. She is in talks with Colors' channel.

The channel and production house are keeping everything under wraps and the casting is still underway. The show is expected to air after IPL (Indian Premier League).

We heard, Ekta's Devdas and Shashi and Sumeet Mittal’s untitled show might replace Uttaran (starring Tina Dutta, Sreejita De, Rashami Desai, Mrunal Jain, Ajay Chaudhary, Gaurav Chopra) and Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon(starring Drashti Dhami, Vivian Dsena, Gunjan Utrega). Both the shows are under scanner and may be pulled off air soon.

COLORS brings Lakme Fashion Week Jashn to the audiences

Mumbai, March 25, 2013: Offering an amalgamation of entertainment and fashion, COLORS, one of India’s leading General Entertainment Channels (GEC) today announced its association with India’s premier fashion and trade event, Lakme Fashion Week (LFW), bringing to the audiences an all-round entertainment and fashion package. Hosted by Rohit Roy, Lakme Fashion Week – COLORS Ka Jashn will air on COLORS from April 1st to April 5th at the afternoon time-slot of 3 pm.

Presenting a blend of style and drama a la COLORS style, the channel will showcase all the behind the scenes action from the fashion week in a half an hour special episode. COLORS artists like Shamim Manan (Bhoomi), Gaurav Chopra (Rathore), newcomer in the COLORS family, Shefali Sharma (Gurbani), Toral Rashputra (Anandi) along with Aakansha Singh (Megha) will be seen in a completely new avatar as they prepare to charm the audiences. This special association will see COLORS’ artist interacting with the top notch designers of our country, get style & make up tips and enjoy all the fashion time at India’s premiere fashion event.
