'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' actor Harsh Rajput to make debut in Gujarati industry with a music single..

Harsh Rajput, who was last seen in 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' recently shot for a music single 'Pehlo Prem'. Being a Gujarati he is pretty excited, because this will be the first time he is doing something in his mother tongue.

"Your mother tongue is always close to your heart. That's why this music single is a bit special for me as it's in Gujarati. I'm thrilled as 'Pehlo Prem' will be my 'Pehlo Gujrati Debut'," said Harsh, who did the shows like Janbaaz Sindbad and Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke.

Do you all know who Gopi Bahu is? It would be such a waste to ask this question. Gopi Bahu….it isn’t just a character or name anymore, it is an iconic character. There would not be a single TV fan who would not know who Gopi Bahu is.

Yes, we are talking about none other than the simple, innocent, docile bahu from Star Plus’s long running show Saath Nibhana Saathiya.

The very popular show which was launched in 2010 immediately clicked with the audience and gave birth to the eternal character of Gopi. The character was played by the pretty actress Giaa Manek and viewers just loved to see her onscreen. The females enjoyed crying with their Gopi Bahu. But the things didn’t remain the same. When in 2012, Giaa left the show and moved on; Devoleena Bhattacharjee was brought on board to play the role of Gopi Bahu.  

At that time, nobody was sure if the replacement will be accepted by the audience. But the spark of the character was that much that people gradually accepted their new Gopi Bahu. While Giaa went ahead and did shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Jeanie Aur Juju, her previous show Saathiya kept on doing well even after the replacement and remained popular. But the point is that have the people really forgotten their old Gopi Bahu? We bring you the answer.

Yesterday at the evening of ITA awards (Indian Television Academy Awards), an incident happened which let everyone wondering who the real Gopi is.

Rithvik Dhanjani and Nakuul Mehta were hosting the certain section of awards. And as a part of their comparing session, Rithvik said, ‘Aaj Gopi Bahu kitni achi dikh rahi hai, camera kaha hai? Zara Gopi Bahu pe focus karo’. That was it..

To each and everyone’s surprise, the camera was focused on the ex-Gopi Bahu Giaa. Probably the camera man also remembered Giaa as Gopi Bahu and forgot that now the Gopi Bahu is Devoleena.

Infact when Giaa exited from the awards night, the fans who were gathered outside the event venue started shouting lovingly Gopi Bahu..Gopi Bahu.

Well, we are still confused who is real Gopi? Giaa, who left the show long ago? Or Devoleena, who currently portraying this character and is leaving no stone unturned to do justice to Gopi Bahu's character.

Giaa Manek, who is best remembered as Gopi Bahu of Rashmi Sharma's show Saath Nibhana Saathiya, has been missing in action for quite some time.

We caught up with the jovial actress at the music launch of Plot No.666 from which her former on-screen husband Mohammad Nazim's is making his Bollywood debut.When we asked her, what kept her busy after Jeannie Aur Juju?. She said, "Well to be very honest looking after my health kept me really busy, besides I went for mini vacations, caught up with friends and most importantly gave time to my fans by chatting with them."

She is quite active on social networking site's and is constantly getting messages from her loyal fans. "Everyone is asking the same question, 'When are you planning to come back?' It gives me immense pain when I read the messages sent to me by my fans on social networking sites that they are missing me to death and want to see me on screen. I want to fulfill their wish, but it is really not in my hands. God has given me the best soo far and I have to keep in mind that the 'best shows' is not something that happens daily. So I have to wait patiently for I wouldn't want to waste my talent in a not soo good character and not soo good show," quipped Giaa.

She further added, "Besides the fact that I need a good script. If I get an opportunity. I would love to play a character that would again surprise my viewers and me."
