The new season of the stunt reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi - Darr Ka Blockbuster Returns saw its first elimination as Harshad Arora bid adieu in just the second week. The chocolate boy of television took up the dangerous challenge and was the last Khiladi to join the fearless gang in Cape Town. But his adventurous journey was short-lived as Sagarika, Nathalia, Rakesh and Chang out matched him in his last stunt.
Making Cape Town the capital of stunts and daredevilry, the contestants have been pushing themselves to the limit to make sure they survive till the end of the show and become the ultimate Khiladi in this season. The competition gets more intense than any of the previous installments of the show, with the level of the stunts being raised to newer heights and the Khiladis becoming more daring. In the very second week, it has become evident that the Darr ka quotient will be much higher than ever before with stunt maestro Rohit Shetty pulling the strings.
After successfully completing a series of dangerous stunts in the first week Harshad came short in a bid to overcome the last stunt. Conquering the element of water in the ‘Oh My Quad’ stunt and ‘Humare Show Mein Surang’ stunt, Harshad also survived a series of electric shocks in the ‘Shockeen’ stunt, but 15000 hissing Madagascar cockroaches got the better of him as he failed to beat the clock.
Disappointed on being the first contestant to be eliminated from the show Harshad commented, “It has been a short but tremendous experience for me and I am glad I took up the opportunity to be a part of the show. As the show goes, someone has to lose and it is unfortunate that it was my turn this week. But we have to pick up and dust off to continue our journey. I had a great time with everyone in Cape Town and will cherish this memorable experience.”
This maybe the end of the road for Harshad on the show but for the rest of the Khiladis, it is just the beginning of the most exciting and spine-chilling journey of their lives.
