In a terrible occurrence in Bihar's Lakhisarai region, five relatives of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput were reportedly killed in a traffic accident.
According to local media sources, the accident occurred about 6:10 a.m. on November 16 on the Sheikhpura-Sikandra road in Pipra village, Lakhisarai district. The incident occurred after an SUV collided with a truck, killing six people and gravely injuring six four others. The injured people were rushed to a nearby hospital.
Laljeet Singh was one among the victims who died, according to several local media accounts. He was Sushant Singh Rajput's brother-in-law OP Singh's relative.
OP Singh is currently posted in Haryana as the ADGP. The deceased was reportedly returning home in his Tata Sumo after performing the last rights of his wife, Geeta Devi who is OP Singh’s sister.
The other names who have succumbed to the tragic accident are Amit Shekhar alias Nemani Singh, Ramchandra Singh, Baby Devi, Anita Devi, and Pritam Kumar.
