Wherever Salman Khan goes, Vivek Oberoi seems to follow!

After Salman receiving tremendous flak and even a Jai Ho boycott call from Muslim groups for flying a kite with Hindutva icon Narendra Modi, now it is his old ‘best friend’ Vivek Oberoi’s turn to support the controversial BJP politico.

Vivek recently flagged off the ‘Run For Your Country’ marathon in Mumbai which was organized for educating women and youth to cast a vote in the upcoming general elections. Interacting with the media, the actor said he wanted Modi to be India's next Prime Minister.

So is Vivek trying to tread in Salman’s footsteps? Will his act of turning a Modi supporter invoke another taunting reaction from the megastar? These are a few questions that immediately come to the mind.

We asked Bollywood PR guru Dale Bhagwagar about this, but he surprisingly shot to Vivek’s defence. “Why do the media always link Vivek to Salman? Past is past. Let them move on,” he quipped.

But would Vivek following Salman’s tactic of Modi-support arouse a PR crisis situation for him too? “There seems to be no ‘tactic’ here. Can’t an actor have his own political preferences?” counter-questioned the crisis management expert.

“The media needs to respect personal choices of all celebrities rather than draw battle lines with differentiation or comparisons,” he remarked. It’s only later we learnt that the publicist has earlier handled a makeover media blitz for Vivek and that could be a reason he was being so defensive about the actor.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with her darling daughter Aaradhya at Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport

Aishwarya Rai arrived in Mumbai on Friday evening and was spotted with her six-month-old daughter Aaradhya Bachchan at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport. As expected, Beti B was so well covered with mamma’s arms that the paparazzi failed to get a snap of her face.

Aish had gone to France for some professional commitments at the 65th Cannes International Film Festival. The media missed the chance of getting a glimpse of the Aaradhya, Aish wasn’t spotted with the baby at the festival but was clicked at an airport in Nice.

Upon her arrival in Mumbai from London, the former miss world was spotted again with her darling daughter Aaradhya who was safely snugged inside the baby-carrier harnessed to the protective mom. To top it, the baby was covered with a cap to protect the baby’s face from the media.

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai walked together out of the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai.  Dressed in their bedtime clothes Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan waited in their car to receive Aishwarya and the baby.

Glamourized Pregnancy Obsession!

Weight gain, weight loss, maintaining a perfect shape; these are the most common concerns of today’s women. And the credit to this concern goes to the influence that celebrities leave on women.

Weight gain during and after pregnancy used to be a normal thing through which every women undergoes whether she is a normal housewife, a corporate worker or an actor but with change in time it has become a widespread concern. Most of us don’t understand that it’s pretty normal to gain weight during pregnancy. An average woman is disillusioned and upset when her pregnancy symptoms don’t reflect on celebrity mumma’s like Lara Dutta, Beyonce, Miranda Kerr etc. A common woman does not understand that celebrities have infinite resources and money to spend on their personal appearance which makes them look fit.

New mumma’s end up feeling frustrated and low when they compare themselves with glamorous pregnancies of celebrity moms. Instead of enjoying their motherhood they fall in the trap of glamour which is fake, unrealistic and of no use.

Lara was seen proudly flaunting her baby bump and glamourizing pregnancy. The chubby actress looked like a yummy mummy. Unlike her, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had put on weight post pregnancy (she gave birth to Beti B in November).

Lately in Ambani's party Aish was spotted in her flab look with a double chin which became breaking news (even we uploaded the pic). It seems that she is not really interested in fatafat weight loss. May be she wants to enjoy her motherhood instead of wasting time in weight loss.

I will not exaggerate if I say that Aish, who turned flab from fab post pregnancy looks like a common women.

So when the style icon “Aishwarya Rai Bachchan” can sacrifice her perfect shape to enjoy the phase of motherhood then why can’t we stop ourselves from getting influenced by fake stereotypes of Glamour World and enjoy being common.
