Amitabh Bachchan, who recently recovered from COVID-19 is now back on the sets of  'Kaun Banega Crorepati'. The megastar took to his Instagram account to announce that he has begun shooting the 12th season of the popular quiz show.

After Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer 'Gulabo Sitabo' and Vidya Balan's much awaited 'Shakuntala Devi', Kiara Advani's next 'Indoo Ki Jawaani' might be released online.

As per the latest buzz, "'Indoo Ki Jawaani' is ready and the post-production work will be completed soon. It was suppose to release worldwide on June 5th, 2020, however, due to pandemic release has been postponed. Now, Nikkhil Advani and Monisha Advani, from Emmay Entertainment want to release it on the web. They are already in talks with several OTT platforms, however nothing is finalized as of now."

Vidya Balan’s Shakuntala Devi Biopic to premiere on Amazon Prime Video

After Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer 'Gulabo Sitabo', now 'Shakuntala Devi', featuring Vidya Balan in the titular role, will premiere on Amazon Prime Video.

The film is a biopic on late mathematical wizard Shakuntala Devi, who was nicknamed the human computer for her innate ability to make complex calculations within seconds.

Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana's ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ to premiere on Amazon Prime Video

Amazon Prime Video today announced the global premiere of the highly anticipated Hindi film Gulabo Sitabo exclusively on the streaming service. Directed by Shoojit Sircar, the film stars Amitabh Bachchan (Black, Piku) and Ayushmann Khurrana (Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan, Andhadhun) in the lead. The movie will premiere exclusively on the 12th of June, 2020 on Amazon Prime Video and will be available in 200 countries and territories worldwide.

#BiggBoss8: Colors will spend around Rs.140 to 150 crores for the 90 day extravaganza

Colors's most talked reality show Bigg Boss is all set to hit our TV screens on 21st September. The channel and the makers have upped the staked and will spend around Rs.140 to 150 crores for the 90 day extravaganza. Last year, the channel forked out around Rs. 120-125 crores on the show.

As reported by media, host Salman Khan will be getting Rs5-6 crore per week. This means 'Kick' star might pocket Rs 60-65 crore from the upcoming of Bigg Boss. Last year, he was getting around Rs3.5 - 4 crores per week. With Bigg Boss 8, Chulbul Pandey becomes the highest paid host on Indian television. Amitabh Bachchan gets an estimated Rs 4 crore per week for Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), which is currently being telecast on Sony Entertainment Television.

The upcoming season of Bigg Boss is said to fetch highest spot advertising rates. The channel is selling 10 second slot for ads for Rs 3.5-4 lakh. Bachchan starrer show 'Yudh', held the record with spot rates of Rs 3 lakh for 10 seconds. Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket tournament is still at number one position, when it comes to spot advertising rates. During IPL Set Max used to get Rs 4-4.5 lakh for 10 sec ads.

Raj Babbar & Adah Sharma to make TV debut with Vipul Shah's show on Life OK

After Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Bhagyashree, Shilpa Shirodkar, Padmini Kolhapure, its the turn for Veretan actor Raj Babbar to join the bandwagon on TV. He is all set make his TV debut with filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah's show for Life OK.

The show is about middle class punjabi family and Babbar has been roped to play a strict-principled father. Shubhangi Latkar, who is currently seen in Do Dil Bandhey Ek Dori Se, will play his wife.

VJ-turned-actor Rannvijay Singh will be seen playing Raj and Shubhangi's son. The show is about the conflicts between father and son. Raj's character is quite similar to Amitabh's role in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

Shubhangi will try to bridge the gap between father and son.

When contacted Raj said, "Nothing is confirmed as of now."

We also heard, 1920 fame actress Adah Sharma is roped to play the female lead.

'Kaun Banega Crorepati' rehearsals begin

Mumbai, June 25 (IANS) The rehearsals for the seventh season of “Kaun Banega Crorepati” (KBC) have begun and megastar Amitabh Bachchan is enjoying every bit of it.

The 70-year-old plays the quiz master in the popular game show and has been associated with it from its inception in 2000, except for the third season in 2007 when superstar Shah Rukh Khan took over as the host.

“The rehearsals for KBC have begun, the team is in its elements, and the excitement of yet another season draws near. It all began in the year 2000, and that makes it an association of 13 years with the game show. That is some time period,” Big B posted on his blog.

Bachchan hopes that he continues to get the appreciation from his fans and the audience for this season as well.

“The love and the affection of the people have been with me all along and I do hope that it shall continue as we set about it all over again,” he posted.

Apart from KBC, he will also be seen in director Prakash Jha’s “Satyagraha”. The political drama has been shot in Bhopal and will be released Aug 23.

Amitabh Bachchan to play realty entrepreneur on Sony TV

The news of Amitabh Bachchan acting debut on television had already spread like wildfire. We already informed you that Mona Wasu is playing a meaty role with mega star.

Big B is playing Yudhisthir Sikarwar in the untitled show, which will be directed by ace filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. Yudhisthir is realty entrepreneur. The show will focus the politics of corporate world. The shooting has already started in Mumbai from Monday (17 March, 2013), they might so some outdoor shoot in Lonavala.

Well known theatre artist Ayesha Raza Mishra, who was been a part of famous plays like ‘Karoron Mein Ek’, ‘The Chairs and Ilham’, is playing Amitabh’s wife.  She was supposed to play another role, but after audition the channel has decided to cast her opposite megastar.

Pavail Gulati will be playing Amitabh and Ayesha’s 20 years old son and Mona Wasu is playing Big B’s secretary.

Zakir Hussain, who was in Sarkar, Paan Singh Tomar and Shor In The City, is roped to play pivotal character of Anand Upadhyay. He is Yudhisthir‘s(Amitabh Bachchan) right hand in his construction firm.

The TV series will be launched at the end of the year and has 20 episodes, which might be telecast on weekends.

Mona Wasu to play central role in Amitabh Bachchan's acting debut show on Sony TV?

After hosting Bigg Boss and Kaun Banega Crorepati, megastar Amitabh Bachchan is making his acting debut on small screen. We heard bubbly actress Mona Wasu, who was last seen in Parichay bagged a pivotal role.

According to our sources, “Mona might play lead role opposite to Big B and will soon start shooting for the same.”

When contacted Mona said, “No I am not doing that show. I am sting at home and enjoying rains.”

The series will be directed by eccentric director Anurag Kashyap.
