The film is a biopic on late mathematical wizard Shakuntala Devi, who was nicknamed the human computer for her innate ability to make complex calculations within seconds.
Taking to her Instagram, the actress unveiled her film’s brand new poster, along with an official announcement of its release on Amazon Prime. She, however, didn’t reveal the date. The poster sees Vidya sporting a bob with mathematical signs on her finger as she smiled. Her caption read, “Delighted to announce that you will get to see #ShakuntalaDevi very soon on @primevideoin with all your loved ones. Thrilled that we will be able to entertain you in these unprecedented times. #WorldPremiereOnPrime #ShakuntalaDeviOnPrime.”
'Shakuntala Devi' is written and directed by Anu Menon, also stars Sanya Malhotra, Amit Sadh and Jisshu Sengupta in pivotal roles, has been produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions and Vikram Malhotra.
