Day 87 in the Bigg Boss 8 house will see an unexpected drama unfolding with the launch of the second part of the luxury budget task Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. Winners of the first part of this task Gautam Gulati, Dimpy Mahajan, Pritam and Ali along with Karishma Tanna are the new Superheroes of the house now and will have to convince the other contestants to wear their name tags in order to support them. They will have to convert maximum number of contestants in their support in order to continue to the next level and earn the ultimate immunity for the next week.

We reported earlier that Colors' much talked reality show got an extension of 4 weeks. The show which was supposed to wrap up on January 4, 2015 will now end in January end or February first week.

Host Salman Khan is not happy with this development, also his contract with channel will expire in January and he is not in mood to extend it. That's why channel decided to replace him.

As Day 86 dawns in the Bigg Boss house, the tension of the previous day continues to prevail. Even as the luxury budget task makes it appearance to change the atmosphere in the house, some relationships continue to appear strained.

As the contestants wake up to a new day, little do they know what is coming next. Upen and Gautam’s cold war that started off on the previous day takes a new turn as the two have a major argument. Gautam gets upset when he sees Upen giving him cold looks. When Gautam asks Upen as to what his problem is, their interaction takes an ugly turn. Upen goes on to tell Gautam that he should focus on his own matters because by interfering in other peoples’ business will get him into trouble. Gautam who tries hard to keep his cool and ignore Upen’s comments eventually gets upset when Upen tries to provoke him further by standing extremely close to his face. Ali, who is bearing witness to this exchange, tries to stop the two from doing something that they might regret later because it was evident that violence was on their mind. Puneet and Dimpy, too, try to calm Upen and Gautam down, but they walk off in different directions.

The love triangle between Anushka-Rajat-Karishma in Shastri Sisters is set to take yet another twist. While Anushka gathers solid proof by recording her conversation with Karishma about Karishma having hid Rajat’s confidential CD, Karishma knocks Anushka unconscious and locks her up in the boot of her SUV.

While Karishma makes sure that her guards are keeping a hawk’s eye out on Anushka, she forbids Rohan from going to the SUV. Meanwhile, back in the Sareen house, the preparations for Rajat and Karishma’s wedding are in full swing. Seated in a dimly lit room, Rajat has flashes of moments he spent with Anushka when Minty puts a kaala tikka on his forehead to keep her son from all evil’s eye.

Day 82 of the Bigg Boss house starts with yet another battleground for captaincy. Ali gets fidgety and stays up all night while sitting on the ‘Kursi’ in the hope of becoming the captain of the house for the third time. Dimpy, on the other hand, tries to talk to Ali into giving her the seat. In fact, other contestants also join in and try to convince Ali to let Dimpy be the captain for the coming week but to no avail. Ali simply states that he is doing this for himself and not anyone else thereby dismissing everyone and their requests.

Hindi GEC genre leader Star Plus and Colors were the only gainers in terms of viewership in the week ended 6 December.

While Star Plus gained 17 GVMs (gross television viewership in million), Colors added 9 GVMs. Epic, which launched recently, also saw viewership gain, collecting 3.7 GVMs in the week.

The pecking order remained unchanged in Week 49, as per TAM data (sourced from subscribers) for the Hindi-speaking market.

Day 80 in the Bigg Boss 8 will witness the first ever celebrity party inside the house! Housemates wake up in full enthusiasm dancing on the tracks of “Party Abhi Baki Hai” and gear up for their luxury budget task ‘Party Toh Banti Hai’.

In the morning housemates are provided with food ingredients to prepare dinner for the guests. Team Pritam and Team Puneet ready themselves  to cook meals for their respective celebrity friends. Diandra from Puneet’s team takes charge in the kitchen and prepares  pasta and hakka noodles while Pritam decides to take Praneet’s help in cooking.  Karishma is not allowed to interfere in between the two teams. However soon there is an argument as to who will cook what. The ingredients provided to them are limited. Housemates decide to use their personal and luxury budget too. Karishma and Diandra appear to be skeptical whether it is a good idea to do so.
