Television actress and a former Bigg Boss contestant Kamya Punjabi is all set to enter politics. According to the latest rumours, she has already joined the Congress party, and a formal announcement is expected soon.
Kamya was last seen in Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, did many TV shows including Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak? and Beintehaa. She also participated in the seventh edition of the reality show, Bigg Boss. She also participated in Colors' popular-yet-controversial show Bigg Boss.
We heard she had always aspired to be a politician. However, due to her demanding schedule, she was unable to realise her desire.
Kamya had previously stated in an interview in 2018, "I want to be in politics as I feel politics is not a bad career choice. It is one of the most challenging and hardworking career options which not only tests one's strength but also the person's personality."
