Kamya Panjabi, a television actor, has joined the Indian National Congress. The actress is looking forward to working under the guidance of party leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.

Television actress and a former Bigg Boss contestant Kamya Punjabi is all set to enter politics. According to the latest rumours, she has already joined the Congress party, and a formal announcement is expected soon.

After spending 13 weeks inside the Bigg Boss house and coming so close to the Grand Finale, tough girl Kamya Punjabi, got evicted from Bigg Boss Season Saath 7 tonight. All-rounder, fighter, sensible; these words best describe Kamya as she proved her mettle with her incredible journey in the Bigg Boss house. Kamya had always came across as one of the most meticulous contestants in the house and would give her best in every task that came her way. Her strategy through the season was to keep her friends close and her enemies even closer.

When the season kicked off, Kamya entered the Jahannum part of the house where she found a dear friend in Pratyusha Banerjee and Armaan Kohli. Kamya had on and off banters with Gauahar Khan but to everyone’s surprise, she also became her closest confidant. Being an independent single mother, Kamya never appreciated anybody calling her weak or bechari in particular. During the Rajneeti and Commando tasks, Kamya’s leadership qualities came to the forefront. But when it came to her daughter, Kamya’s emotions knew no bounds as she missed her more and more with every passing day. She proved to the world that she can give cut-throat competition to anyone and survived inside the Bigg Box for 41 hours thereby breaking an International record along with co-contestant Sangram Singh while setting a new milestone. Throughout her stay in the Bigg Boss house, Kamya also showcased her culinary skills and prepared delicious food for her fellow contestants within the limited ration that they were provided.

Talking about her exit, Kamya said, “Bigg Boss has been a turning point in my life. It helped me discover a lot of things about myself, especially when my patience was put to test. I am glad that I could achieve so much on this platform and even got an opportunity to etch my name in international history! While I wish I had survived till the very end, I am excited to meet my daughter Aara and give her a tight hug. My journey has been truly incredible and I have created friendships here that I will cherish for the rest of my life.”

Kamya Punjabi and Sangram Singh break Big Brother UK’s record

Kamya Punjabi and Sangram Singh have always come across as tough contenders in the Bigg Boss house. These ingenious contestants have always given their sweat and blood to every task that they have undertaken and have proved themselves. This time around, they have not only given a performance that was paramount but have also proven to be the stalwarts of this season.

As a part of the luxury budget task, the three contenders Andy, Sangram and Kamya were asked to undertake the Bigg Box task where they were to survive inside a box with an aid of a survival kit. The one contestant, who is able to survive inside the box for the maximum time would win the ‘Ticket to Finale’ task by securing a position in the grand finale. While Andy is the first one to come out of the box after surviving for approximately 19 hours, Sangram and Kamya still continue to perform the task and survive in the box.

As a result of their strong will and determination, Kamya and Sangram have broken the record of Big Brother UK by surviving in the box for more than 26 hours. Soon after they break the record, Bigg Boss makes an announcement and congratulates Sangram and Kamya on their achievement. While it was a moment of pride for Kamya and Sangram, the housemates also applauded the duo.

Even after achieving a milestone and adding another feather to their cap, Kamya and Sangram continue to survive in the box with the desire to reach the grand finale. Later Bigg Boss call off the task.

Bigg Boss asked Gauahar Khan, Armaan Kohli, Tanisha Mukherjee, Ajaz Khan, Kushal Tandon and Andy to select the winner between Sangram and Kamya. But both Sanram and Kamya received 3 votes, so Bigg Boss asked Andy (who is captian of the house) to select the winner. Andy chose Sangram over Kamya.

Has Kamya Punjabi switched sides in Bigg Boss house?

Kamya  Punjabi is one contestant in the Bigg who has believed in fair play, be it for a task or otherwise, She has always been balanced and carried out all her responsibilities in a timely manner. But with Bigg Boss approaching its climax, Kamya seems to have come up with a new game strategy to secure her position in the finale. Since they first became friends, Kamya has always stayed true to her friend Gauahar Khan and has rarely had a difference in opinion with her.  

After the luxury budget task comes to an end, Bigg Boss asks the housemates to unanimously decide upon two names who have been the weak performers in the task. While Gauahar, Kushal Tandon, Ajaz Khan and Sofia Hayat sit down to discuss the appropriate names, Kamya prefers to keep away from the discussion and voices her opinion later. After the names are called out in front of Bigg Boss, Kamya goes to Armaan Kohli and Tanishaa Mukherjee and tells them that she will never fall prey to any manipulations and will always support what is right. She might be close to Gauahar and Ajaz in the house but that doesn’t take away her integrity and she can never be compelled to take a wrong decision.

Upon hearing this, Armaan and Tanishaa praise Kamya endlessly and also compliment her for being unprejudiced. When Gauahar finds out about Kamya’s conversation with Armaan, she starts to ignore Kamya, something that was rightly anticipated by Armaan and Tanishaa earlier.

Is Kamya playing games to win the hearts of all the contestants or will she apologize to Gauahar and stay true to their friendship?

Armaan Kohli's girlfriend Tanya Singh to enter Bigg Boss?

We were the first one to report that Armaan Kohli is engaged to Tanya Singh (Kapoor) and she is living with Armaan’s parents. She is a divorcee and has a 8-10 years old son.

According to latest buzz, Tanya is expected to enter in Bigg Boss. Talks are yet going on with the channel, and Tanya might enter in the Bigg Boss house along with VJ Andy’s mother, Gauahar Khan’s sister Nigaar, Kamya Punjabi’s mother, Sangram Singh’s girlfriend Payal Rohtagi.

Motor-mouth Dolly Bindra is also likely to enter in the house of controversy. For those uninitiated, Armaan took his then girlfriend Moon Moon Banerjee on a trip to Mauritius to celebrate Valentine’s Day. There he tried to beat and kill her, after which he was arrested. He even tried to commit suicide. This was reported to the police by ex-Bigg Boss contestant Dolly Bindra, who was also there with her husband Kaizad.

In the coming week special freeze task will be introduced wherein close friends or family members of the inmates enter in the house while the contestants have to remain in a statue position. During the task the contestants are not allowed to talk to anybody or react or show any kind of emotion.

This particular episode is expected to shot today (27 November, 2013) and will telecast on Thursday (28 November, 2013).

Bigg Boss 7-Day 33: Pratyusha Banerjee & Kamya Punjabi concerned about Armaan Kohli

Once good friends Pratyusha Banerjee, Kamya Punjabi and Armaan Kohli have been recently staying apart and not talking to each other in the Bigg Boss house. After Tanishaa Mukherji and Shilpa Saklani sorted out their differences, Pratyusha decides to speak to Armaan to resolve the problems between them. In the evening, when Armaan was sitting alone in the garden area, Pratyusha goes up to him. She tells him that she is feeling sad that they have been best pals and now because of Tanisha, there has been a rift in their friendship.  She also tells him that since the day Tanisha has become close to him, he has started being indifferent to her and Kamya.

Armaan tells her that they are unnecessarily blaming Tanisha and it was his decision to stay away from them. He did not like the way he was being portrayed as a person and hence decided to take a step back. When Pratyusha tells him that he has also changed as a person, Armaan reasons it out by saying that he wants to stay alone for some time.

Pratyusha talks to Kamya  about her discussion  with Aramaan. Kamya  says that she too has been concerned about Armaan and  does not  like seeing him staying aloof and distant all the time. They both discuss that they are concerned about him as his friends.

Looks like Armaan is putting all his relationships at stake for Tanisha.

Bigg Boss 7- Day 15: Rift between Gauahar Khan and Kamya Punjabi widens

The fight between Kamya and Gauahar has intensified and some tear shedding and consoling was seen in the Bigg Boss house.

The whole issue started when Gauahar took her and Kushal’s name when Bigg Boss asked her to give two names who performed well in the task and who deserved to go on the heaven side. But Kamya differed on Gauahar’s decision and voiced her disagreement in front of Salman Khan during Weekend Ka Wow Salman ke Saath-7. She said that she is not happy with Gauahar’s decision and said that it was Apurva who deserved to go on the heaven side.

Further, taking the fight to a next level, when Gauahar was making tea for everyone in the house, Kamya was seen telling Shilpa that she would prefer taking tea from her. Kamya’s ignorance and indifferent attitude bothers her. After Gauahar comes to know about this, she couldn’t control her tears and was seen crying in the bathroom. Kushal, her constant support in the house was seen consoling her and was trying to lighten her mood.

It’ll be interesting to see how far Kamya and Gauahar will take their fight.

Kamya Punjabi doubts Gauahar Khan’s judgement

After Bigg Boss assigned a task to Gauahar of nominating two people from the hell side that performed the best in the luxury budget task, she took her own name along with Kushal Tandon’s.  But Kamya didn’t seem to agree with Gauahar’s decision and accuses her for taking the decision on her own.

Kamya mentions that while she was supposed to consult everybody in the team, she mislead them by saying that the ultimate decision will be hers. Pratyusha also agree’s to Kamya’s decision and mentions that her suggestion was not considered. Gauahar gets quite upset but tries to explain her that she did ask them about their opinion but she did not get a proper response.
After Gauahar has left, Pratyusha makes a remark by saying that she took this decision because she wanted to be with Kushal and didn’t want to let go of him. Only time will  tell if Gauahar is being genuine or it’s a part of her game plan.

Anita Advani is the new cry baby of Bigg Boss!

Just as Bigg Boss brings in weirdos like Dolly Bindra and Pooja Misrra, or pansies like Imam Siddique and VJ Andy every year, it seems they've now added a new category to the show – cry babies.

After having Aashka Goradia cry buckets on the show last year, Season 7’s aunty contestant Anita Advani who claims to be late Bollywood superstar Rajesh Khanna's ex, has started shedding tears at the drop of a hat, and sometimes for no reason at all.

Coincidentally, a while ago, her publicist was none other than Bigg Boss specialist Dale Bhagwagar, who has handled some of the reality show's most controversial contestants.

We checked with Dale why he hasn't reacted to Advani's tears and realized the publicist isn't working for Advani during Bigg Boss. The PR guru had himself received an offer for being a contestant on the show this year, which too he has chosen to skip.

Meanwhile, citing a source from the channel, IANS has reported that Advani is being quite a dampener, with housemates calling her a “fake”.

The report adds that apparently Armaan Kohli, Apoorva Agnihotri, Pratyusha Banerjee and Kamya Punjabi even got together and criticized Advani for being a misfit introvert who is not making friends in the house.

Kamya Punjabi, Vibhav Roy and Parvati Sehgal in Ravi Ojha's next on Life OK?

Ravi Ojha Productions is planning a untitled show for Life OK.  Kinshuk Mahajan was approached to play the lead role but now we heard newbie Vibhav Roy from Australia is finalized to play the lead role opposite Sana Sheikh.


We also heard Parvati Sehgal, Achyut Poddar, Neetha Shetty, Anita Kanwal and her daughter Pooja Kanwal will essay meaty roles in the show. Meghna Malik might join the cast, she is expected to replace Kamya.

When contacted Kamya refused to comment, where as Vibhav said, “Noting is finalized as far now.”
