We reported earlier that, 'Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha' fame Aakanksha Singh has been roped to play the female lead in Life OK's Maha Kumbh. She was almost finalized but things couldn't work out.

Now we heard, Payal Rajput who was seen in shows like Sapno Se Bhare Naina, Aakhir Bahu Bhi Toh Beti Hee Hai has been finalized to play the lead opposite Gautam Rode.

The show revolve around a boy, who has supernatural powers but he is unaware about this. However, his powers start showing as he grows older. Gautam and Payal already started shooting in Varanasi. Ketki Dave, Seema Biswas, and Rajesh Shringarpure are also roped to play prominent roles.

Maha Kumbh is expected to see the day light in December.

Aakanksha Singh roped to play the female lead in Life OK's Maha Kumbh?

Actress Aakanksha Singh, who was last seen in an episodic of Savdhaan India is back with a bang. The actress, who shot to fame from 'Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha' has been roped to play female lead opposite Gautam Rode in 'Mahakumbh'.

As we already reported Rajesh Shringarpure, Ketki Dave, Bandit Queen fame actress Seema Biswas are roped to play a pivotal roles in the show.

Mahakumbh is based on the backdrop of Uttar Pradesh and is about the story of a kid who has supernatural powers, but he is completely unaware about this fact. Mahakumbh is a finite series show and will run only for a year.

Aakanksha remained unavailable for comment.

Mishal Raheja to enter Saraswatichandra as the new lead!

Star Plus Saraswatichandra will soon witness a major highpoint with the death Saras(Gautam Rode). There were a lot of speculations made about, who will play the new male lead. A certain section of media reported that toss up is between heartthrob Karan Singh Grover and dashing Vivian Dsena. But now we heard Mishal Raheja is finalized to play the male protagonist.

A source from the production house on the condition of anonymity said, "KSG was almost finalized. But as he is currently shooting for a supernatural thriller with Bong babe Bipasha Basu, so he was not able to give ample of time for Saraswatichandra.Then we approached Raqesh Vashishth, who earlier replaced Karan Singh Grover in Qubool Hai. But he was not ready to do another replacement role."

Our source further added, "In the meanwhile, Vivian DSena was approached. But as Madhubala is expected to go off-air in August end and we want to introduce the new lead in August itself, so we finalized Mishal Raheja."

When contacted Mishal said, "Nothing as of now has been finalized as I haven't signed the contract yet."

We already reported Saraswatichandra fame Gautam Rode & Bandit Queen fame Seema Biswas has been roped in Life OK's upcoming show. Now we heard, veteran actor Kulbhushan Kharbanda, who has been in this industry from past 4 decades was approached to play a meaty role in the show which is currently titled 'Mahakhumb'.

Gautam Rode roped in for Life Ok's next? quits Sarswatichandra? 

We contacted Kharbanda  to get a confirmation and he said, "Yes, I have been approached for the show, but nothing has been confirmed as of now."

Yesterday we reported that Sarswatichandra fame Gautam Rode has been roped to play male lead in Life OK's upcoming show. However, the hunt for the female lead is still on.

Now we heard, versatile actress Seema Biswas, who well known for playing the role of Bandit Queen is shortlisted to play a meaty role in the show which is currently titled 'Mahakhumb', which is produced by Arvind Babbal

Gautam Rode, who is currently seen in Star Plus show 'Saraswatichandra' has been approached to play lead role in Life Ok's next.

According to our sources, "Rode has already put down his papers and will be soon quitting Saraswatichandra. The dasting actor has been roped to play male protagonist in Life Ok's show 'Mahakumbh', which is a story about a kid with a supernatural powers."

As an actress Jennifer Winget is very cooperative : Gautam Rode

The show will produced by Arvind Babbal, who initially directed a few episodes of Saraswatichandra.

Gautam remained unavailable for comments.
