Sexy Siren Veena Malik was supposed to visit Sahara One’s Niyati set to promote her upcoming him Zindagi 50-50. But the actress backed out at last moment.

According to our sources, “She was supposed to perform dance sequence during Ishwar(Tabrez Khan) and Niyati’s (aastha Chaudhary) engagement ceremony. But curvaceous Miss. Malik didn’t visit the set as expected yesterday. Instead today she decided to promote her film in red light area Kamathipura (Grant Road). She will interacting with sex workers and distribute condoms to spread awareness about safe sex.”

We tried contacting Veena but she remained unavailable to comment.

I am not going to follow Vidya in Kannada remake of The Dirty Picture : Veena Malik

Vidya Balan starrer ‘The Dirty Picture’ was a blockbuster and now Pakistani import seductress Veena Malik pledges to get dirtier in the Kannada remake of the film titled ‘The Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Maga’.

Recently she did a sexy, chic, hot, raunchy photo shoot with Akshay at the Abbayya Naidu Studios in Bangalore. The shoot began at eight in the evening and lasted till the wee hours of the morning.

Excited Veena said, “My film will be much much dirtier than the original film. I am not going to follow Vidya Balan.”

Dolly Bindra raises her shoe targeting Veena Malik in Pakistan!

The terror lady of Bigg Boss, Dolly Bindra, has targeted Pakistani ‘nautanki’ Veena Malik, who has been on Indian shores filming two to three low-budget movies in Bollywood.

On her recent tip to Veena’s homeland Pakistan, Dolly not only raised her voice in her trademark style, but also her shoe, gesturing that she is ready to throw one at the Pakistani starlet Veena when she comes face-to-face with her again!

Speaking to the media in Lahore, Dolly accused Veena Malik of “immoral activities” and expressed her desire to slap the starlet with her shoes.

Dolly claimed that Veena was in India due to her immoral acts and not because she was receiving any monetary compensation, adding that the latter loved to involve herself in various scandals every now and then.

“She (Veena Malik) is a stain on Pakistan, a stain on India, and a stain on women,” said an enraged Bindra, who also claimed that Malik had wooed Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Asif and that when Asif got jailed, Malik usurped all his money.

For the record, Veena Malik gained popularity in India when she got invited on India’s biggest reality show Bigg Boss because of a controversy with one of Bollywood PR guru Dale Bhagwagar’s clients, actress Neetu Chandra. On the show, she attracted further notoriety when she cootchie-cooed with Ashmit Patel, another of the same publicist’s clients during Bigg Boss.

What’s going wrong with Movers and Shakers?

Movers and Shakers on Sony Entertainment Television used to be the most talked-about stand up comedy show a few years ago. But its latest avatar on Sab TV doesn’t seem to be catching on with the glory.

That, inspite of bagging celebrity guests like Anupam Kher, Govinda, Isha Khoppikar, Kader Khan, Mahi Gill, Mika Singh, Nupur Mehta, Om Puri, Sameera Reddy, Saroj Khan, Satish Kaushik, Shaan, Sonu Nigam, Sonu Sood, Sukhwinder Singh, Pakistani starlet Veena Malik and the Indian hockey team!

So what’s going wrong with M&S this time? The look, feel, format and suave host Shekhar Suman’s trademark wit is almost at par with the earlier edition. But the jokes, gags and punches are contributed by a different team now, apart from the show having a new director Shashant Shah, who also directed the touching film Dasvidaniya and the successful TV series The Great Indian Comedy Show.

The show’s earlier creative director Abhigyan Jha has moved on to direct his own show Jay Hind on the internet, followed by The Late Night Show on Colors with Sumeet Raghavan; the same host of Jay Hind.

Many feel that the similar formats of Movers and Shakers, Jay Hind and The Late Night Show have divided the viewership and diluted the M&S brand loyalty. Moreover, Shekhar’s favourite mimicry characters, Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Laloo Prasad Yadav, are more or less absent now, as they are no longer viewed as frontrunners in Indian politics.

Also missing from the team is Dale Bhagwagar, now the Bollywood PR guru, who used to be Shekhar Suman’s personal publicist as well as the media manager of M&S for quite some time during its first innings. The public relations specialist is often credited for branding Shekhar as the First Superstar of Indian Television in the media.

Was Ali Zafar’s Phalke Award snatched because of his Pakistani origin?

It has been reported that someone at the Tulip Star Hotel in Juhu, Mumbai, snatched the Dadasaheb Phalke Academy Award trophy from the hands of Pakistani singer-turned-actor Ali Zafar and ran away with it.

Which raises the pertinent question – was it because he is a Pakistani actor working in the Indian film industry? “In any story of scandal such as this, its not the who, how, where, what and when, which is as important as the ‘why’,” remarks Bollywood PR guru Dale Bhagwagar. “If that ‘why’ can be answered in this sorry scenario too, the riddle can also be solved,” he adds. Dale has known many celebrities who have gone through similar helpless circumstances in huge crowds and sympathizes with Ali Zafar.

Apart from having handled the media for top of the line Bollywood names like Hrithik Roshan, Govinda, Shilpa Shetty and Priyanka Chopra earlier, the publicist has also looked after the PR for Pakistani superstar Meera for quite some time.

Even Pakistani starlet Veena Malik gained popularity in India when she got invited on India’s biggest reality show Bigg Boss because of a controversy with one of Dale’s clients, actress Neetu Chandra. On the show, she attracted further notoriety when she cootchie-cooed with Ashmit Patel, another of the same publicist’s clients during Bigg Boss.

Ali Zafar made his India debut with the successful comedy Tere Bin Laden, and followed it up with another hit in Yash Raj Films’ Mere Brother Ki Dulhan co-starring Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif. His last film London, Paris, New York also received critical acclaim.

Some of the other prominent awardees at the 143rd Dadasaheb Phalke Academy Awards included actors Amitabh Bachchan, Tanuja, Vinod Khanna, Ajay Devgn (Singham), Vidya Balan (The Dirty Picture), Waheeda Rehman, Saira Banu - Dilip Kumar, Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar (Bade Achhe Lagte Hain), Farhan Akhtar (Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara), Prakash Raj, ace journalist Chaitanya Padukone, producer Ekta Kapoor and singer Gurdas Maan.
