Life lessons from The Lion King: Don't give up, because God is behind you

In The Lion King, there was a scene in which little Simba tries to defend himself and Nala by roaring at the hyenas, only to let out small meows. Hyenas started making fun of him because they felt he was too puny, still, he chose to roar.

Grief has its own lifespan

When we lose someone we have loved or cherished or held close to us, we choose two ways:

1). Either we learn to move on with time with it holding a part of it in our memories or
2). We start finding peace in grieving.

Everyone says moving on is better than finding comfort in grief. Itna aasaan hai kya?

Happy New Year: Love and Light

My loving readers you are divine souls,

On the last day of 2022, I want to express my gratitude for your presence.

Gratitude Journal: When an angel gave me two hundred rupees

2022 is about to end, and I want to end by starting by appreciating those who knowingly or unknowingly helped me during trying times. Moving forward, I'll start writing about angels, who appeared in a human form and aided me in expected ways.

On 8 November 2016, the Government of India announced the demonetization of all ₹500 and ₹1,000 banknotes. The public had the option to surrender the invalid notes within the next 50 days.

I Believe In Santa

Someone said, "The majority of parents promote a false belief in Santa Claus, and they are part of some vast conspiracy to perpetuate a lie. Most small children accept that story as real. It is a completely made-up and bullshit story that Santa flew from house to house on Christmas Eve."

Everything in this beautiful universe is unlimited

We have been taught since childhood that everything is limited. There is a finite number of kids who can enroll for a particular thing. Seats in the college, school, workplace, or tickets to watch the world cup match are limited. We are often reminded that only a small number of people can achieve success.

Is suicide is a cowardly act?

'Suicide is a cowardly act, and the majority of those who do it go to hell.

Someone, I know shamelessly shared this on whatsapp status after a charismatic hip-hop dancer Stephen tWitch Boss committed suicide.

How can we assume that those who commit suicide are cowards?

Losing a friend is worse than a breakup

The end of a romantic relationship is usually followed by prolonged heartbreak, but ending a friendship is sometimes worse than a breakup. The sudden, sharp distance created by misunderstandings, betrayal, judgment, and expectations is profoundly jarring.

Dear Chhathi Maiya

Dear Chhathi Maiya,

I remember when I was naive, I made fun of you, your devotees, and Chhath puja, yet you kept loving me.

Today, when I saw Alok Mishra's post related to Chhath Puja on Instagram, I revisited the past and realized I made a blundering mistake. I hereby repent and humbly request you oh loving mother to forgive me.

Waiting for you on the other side

Dear Friend,

Even though there is an unfathomable distance between us, I haven't destroyed the bridge yet, and I won't do so either since I don't have the courage to let you go.

#ShortStory: Let it die inside my body

They both enjoyed monsoons, it was a romantic evening, and it was pouring outside. The cherry on top was the soothing music, which was being played on a piano in the background.

She was cutting pears and was looking absolutely gorgeous. He couldn't control himself, grabbed her elbow, and tried to kiss her on the forehead.

Is it better to speak or to die?

I was once again watching Luca Guadagnino's Call Me by Your Name on Netflix. In one the scene, the professor Perlman(Michael Stuhlbarg) and Annella (Amira Casar) and Elio (Timothée Chalamet) snuggle on the couch while Annella translates from the Heptaméron, the 16th-century collection of fables by Marguerite de Navarre.

#ShortStory: Makhmali Khwaab

Does grief eventually pass?

They say that grief will vanish with time. But the reality is that it doesn't, it forever stays with us, within us.
