The most awaited festival Diwali has arrived, here a few of your favorite talks about this featival of lights..

Toral Rasputra, Anandi of Balika Vadhu:
The period between September-November is one of my most favourite ones because it is so full of vibrant festivals. Diwali is a festival, which automatically associates itself with the triumph of good over evil. I personally love Dhanteras when you perform the Laxmi Pooja in the morning. Most of us relate Diwali to vacation time and I try and spend as much time as possible with my family during the festival as it has been a tradition. I earnestly request one and all to refrain from bursting crackers this year and in fact spend quality time with their families and loved ones celebrating this joyous occasion.

Shakti Arora, Ranvir of Meri Aahsiqui Tum Se Hi:
Like every year, this Diwali, I will be doing Laxmi poojan at home with my family and will also buy gold and go some shopping for some gifts for my near and dear ones. Since I am strictly against bursting crackers owing to the pollution they add to the environment, I will not be indulging in fireworks. I request everyone to please avoid contributing to the pollution too.

Radhika Madan, Ishani of Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi:
For Diwali this year, I am going back home to Delhi for three days. I will be shifting to my new house on Diwali so it will be a double celebration with not only Diwali fun but also a house-warming party!

Sonal Vengurlekar, Devyani of Shastri Sisters:
Diwali is my favourite festival! I love cooking kheer and laddoos with my mother at home. If I get a day off from shoot this year, I will spend much-needed time with my family and friends.

Neha Pednekar, Alka of Shastri Sisters:
As a child, I used to eagerly look forward to Diwali because I used to love the fireworks involved. I used to think they were the most beautiful chaos I had ever seen. Today, as an adult, I hate the commotion involved and I believe it is essential for us to understand the meaning of a Green Diwali. I love to pig out on Malai Barfi during Diwali! This year, if I don’t have a shoot, I will spend Diwali with my mom.”

Preetika Rao, Aaliya of Beintehaa:
Diwali is a beautiful festival that brightens up the house and environment with colorful lamps, lanterns and candles. On Diwali, I either visit the temple or have a puja at home, after which I spend every Diwali with my family and friends shopping, playing cards and watching some amazing fireworks. My Diwali wouldn’t be complete without my favorite sweet ‘Kajukatli’.”

Harshad Arora, Zain of Beintehaa
Diwali is a festival of prosperity, with lights, rangolis, sweets and exchange of gifts. My family celebrates Diwali each year zealously but in a very simple and traditional manner. I have a sweet-tooth and love the sweets prepared on Diwali. Since I was young I quit bursting firecrackers and we have made it a point to celebrate pollution free Diwali.”

The ‘BB Mithaiwala’ task didn't seem too sweet and savoury after all, as it took its toll on the housemates on Day 31. However, there is an interesting turn of events in this coveted house. With tempers flaring and nerve-wrecking arguments blowing roof-tops, this could and might as well be marked as an important day in the history of the season.

The contestants have to cope with the challenging task of preparing delicacies associated with the festival and it’s not an easy one with the housemates challenging each other in a battle of supremacy. But with the stress of outdoing each other, there is pandemonium in the house with the decorum of the house going to an all-time low. While some team-mates genuinely worked hard to win the task, other were seen fighting, scheming and plotting to make it as the next captain of the house. Gautam and Ali got into a tiff leading to yet another show down in the house and this time a nastier one with abuses being hurled left, right and centre.

However, as the day came to an end, tempers soothed and Bigg Boss gave everyone in the house a reason to cheer up and celebrate. In an innovative way to launch the new fashion line from Snapdeal, Bigg Boss gave the housemates a chance to go on a shopping spree for this exclusive designer collection online. Bigg Boss divided them in groups of men and women and gave them exactly 20 minutes in total to shop for some designer outfits online.

There were four exclusive designers – Varun Bahl, Ashish and Soni, Abhishek Gupta, and Samant Chauhan for men and two exclusive designers – Varun Bahl and Malini Ramani for women whose work weredisplayed on the plasma screen put up in the house. Being exclusive designer wear, no housemates were allowed to select similar outfits at any given point. Everyone’s joy knew no bounds and they left their animosity behind to unitedly help each other select their outfits.

All’s well that ends well! After literally bringing the house down earlier in the day, the contestants made peace with each other, let bygones be bygones and went to bed happy with the thought of bringing in Diwali in a fun way. All of them were seen chattering away to glory and eagerly anticipating their snazzy designer Diwali outfits from Snapdeal.

We reported earlier that Geet Hui Sabse Pataayi fame actress Drashti Dhami has been approached to play the lead role in Saurabh Tewari’s next on Sony TV.

Now according to latest buzz, the production house also approached Drashti’s best friend Sanaya Irani, who was last seen in Rangrasiya. The two beautiful and talented ladies have given the look test. The production house is anticipating on either one of them.

Urvashi Dholakia better known as Komalika of Kasautii Zindagii Ki will face the camera after quite some time. She is seen making guest appearances in Balaji Telefilms Pavitra Rishta.

Ankita Lokhande starrer show, which ran over for more than 1400 episodes will finally breathe its last on the coming 25th. Small screen czarina Ekta Kapoor is leaving no stone unturned to make the finale episode a gala affair. So she approached her lucky mascot Urvashi to do a small cameo along with Iqbal Khan and Karan Grover.

Urvashi is facing camera after a long time. After she won Bigg Boss-6 Urvashi was did a comedy show Nautanki. Her last fictional show was Dil ‘Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava’. So how she is feeling facing camera after so many years? “I am shooting almost after 1 and a half year and it feels great. It’s like home coming for me because Ekta is like a family.”

When asked why she is missing from the small screen? Urvashi said, “I am waiting for the right and challenging role, be it negative or positive. I am open to do any type of role.”

What do you think about the vamps today? They usually have a comic touch. “Frankly speaking, I do not watch any television shows except Bigg Boss, so I cannot comment anything.”

Who is your favourite contestant in Bigg Boss 8? “No one as such, I think everybody is playing their own game very nicely. Upen Patel is playing the good game and Gautam Gulati is very entertaining. Gautam is the only one in the house who is giving entertainment.”

Vivacious actress Aaradhna Uppal, who was last seen in MTV Fanaah as werewolf Farida, will soon enter in Optimystix Productions' Baal Veer on SAB TV. The actress will play role of strict principle.

“The vivacious actress has been roped to play the role of harsh principle Jwala. She will get magical power from Shaitaan Pari, when the later came to know that Jwala hates kids,” says our source.

While relations in the Bigg Boss house struggle to find their routes of peace after the nerve wracking open nominations, the contestants have a lot of things on their mind rather than think about who they need to target next. The now infamous captain of the Bigg Boss house, Ali, will get more powers than ever before that could prove to be either helpful or stressful for the contestants. However, the whole house will now need to be alert and on their feet with the new twist that Bigg Boss will bring to their lives today.

The luxury budget task for this week will be introduced which has aptly been named ‘BB Mithaiwala’. As a part of this task, the contestants will be divided into two teams - Diandra Sweets (Red Team) and Gautam Mithaiwala (Blue Team) who will compete against each other in a battle to showcase their cooking prowess and fulfilling the orders that have been placed by Bigg Boss. Ali is appointed as the quality check supervisor and is given the power to taste the items prepared by the contestants and choose the tastier dish. Both the teams are given raw materials and recipes by Bigg Boss and will be required to prepare the same dishes. Ali’s responsibility as the supervisor is to gauge the quality of the finished mithais prepared by both teams. Both winning and losing teams will get special prizes and punishments that will make their journey in Bigg Boss more intriguing.

While Diandra’s team includes Soni, Puneet, Upen, Minissha and Sushant, Gautam’s team includes Praneet, Aarya, Karishma, Sonali and Pritam. As the task kicks off, fights start to erupt. When calm finds its way back into the contestants’ lives, they are assigned mithai such as Jalebi and Kaju Katli that they have to make for Bigg Boss. By evening, as temperatures go soaring, Bigg Boss eases the pressure on the contestants and asks them to make a mithai of their own choice. While the teams get on with the task, it is a curious mix of emotion; anger and fun all the members of their respective team try to achieve the required goal in full zest as if their lives depend on it.

Today, the Boss house is no less than Chandni Chowk’s chaotic Mithai Corner. With stuff flying, disappearing, re-appearing, and people getting bullied, it feels like college life once more!

Giaa Manek: I have lots of rings and earrings so this time I decided to buy a nice delicate gold bracelet.

Divyanka Tripathi: I am planning to buy gold this Dhanteras because gold is the best investment possible on this day and it never depreciates.

Kapil Nirmal: I have not yet decided what to purchase. But for sure I will buy something in gold for my mom.

Chandni Bhagwanani I am shooting round the clock for ‘Jhalli Anjali Ke Tootey Dil Ki Amazing Story’ , so I will not get time to go out for shopping. So I asked my mom to purchase a nice pair of earrings for me.

Devoleena Bhattacharjee: I prefer to buy gold on Dhanteras, so this year also I will surely go for gold only.

Karan Sharma: Every year I buy some ornaments of silver, but this year I am planning to buy buy gold coins with Goddess Lakshmi embossed. Gold is considered as the purest metal in the world and I hope it will make my life more pure and pious.

Aastha Chaudhary: From last 6 years I religiously purchase something on Dhanteras. This year, I am planning to buy a gold ring for myself and my mom.

Ankita Bhargava: We have a tradition to purchase something for our Kitchen. As I love making sandwiches, so I will buy a grill toaster.

In 16^th October’s episode Karishma Tanna and Daindra Soraes went inside the store room to purchase luxury items. Tanna was shown running, and before entering in the store room she was wearing black shorts. And then miracle happend…boom…when she entered in the store room she was shown wearing the trouser. Amazing na?

While relationships and equations are ever changing in the Bigg Boss house, this new day instilled new faith in the minds of the contestants. The contestants have a lot on their plate to think about after their conversations with the panelists which have given them perspective about what is being said outside about their behavior and conduct. Captain Ali continues to dominate the house while the contestants who are against him have now taken up a full-blown rebellion. Every other member is prepared to counter attack Ali’s over obsessive captaincy.

In the afternoon, Bigg Boss announces nominations for the coming week’s evictions. This week, the contestants will face an open nominations process which is due to take place in the garden area. Every contestant has been given the responsibility to nominate two contestants by putting a plate of foam on their faces. The nominations take an unexpected turn as the contestants focus on the thoughts that have been brewing on their minds for some time and choose contestants who have been labelled as the strong and balanced minds in the house.

After the 'vaar' of open nominations, Bigg Boss introduced a brand-new task in the evening with the aim of bringing about some calm. The task at hand was for Pritam, an ace RJ, to host a special show called “Mudda Pritam Pyaare Ka” where he takes up the mantle of entertaining the housemates. Pritam will be seen solving some problems of the harassed housemates, while doing what he does best.

Tonight’s episode of Bigg Boss Season 8 promises to showcase a varied combination of emotions. What happens next will surely pique your interest and raise intrigue about who is really a friend and who is actually a foe!

#BiggBoss8: Natasa Stankovic evicted from Bigg Boss 8..

Foreign import Natasa Stankovic bid goodbye to the Colors' much talked reality show. Serbian model turned actress, who is not much visible on the show got least number for votes and is the latest one to be evicted from Bigg Boss 8 after completing four weeks when she was pitted against strong contestants like Karishma Tanna, Aarya Babbar and Minissha Lamba.

Natasa started facing the problems from the day one, she found it difficult to cope with the language barrier in the house owing to which she was seldom able to participate in conversations inside the house. Despite getting one month of firm practice, Natasa found it difficult to voice her opinions. Also, Indian food was not palatable and her food preferences became a cause of concern for her.

She is sweet, adorable but her coldness and aloof attitude was responsible for her eviction. She was far away from cat fights and was unable to spice up the show. The makers brought her to increase the glam quotient in the show, but she failed impress the audience. Frankly speaking, her eviction didn't come as a surprise to viewers.

Natasa’s best moments were the mornings when the contestants were woken up with a song. Speaking the universal language of dance, Natasa entertained everyone with her dance moves. In fact, as the contestants broke out into a song at the most random moments, Natasa would join them in singing and even shake a leg with them whenever possible.

Natasa’s exit from the house came at a time when all the contestants were celebrating Diwali with host Salman Khan. The dancers who came in to entertain the contestants took Natasa out with them as their performance ended. Diandra, Soni, Karishma and Sushant, who witnessed her exit, were extremely shocked by the turn of events. Diandra even ran to the bedroom as soon as Natasa exited and chose to express her grief at losing one of friends in private.

We exclusively reported that Sunny Leone will be co-hosting the dating show 'Splitsvilla'. Sadly this gorgeous actress found herself at the receiving end of a contestant's outburst.

Splitsvilla contestant Shravan Reddy lost his cool and thrown a heavy Rajasthani jewellery box at a fellow contestant, unfortunately it ended up hurting Ragini MMS-2 star instead.

Sunny was surprised and shocked after this incident. She chucked abuses at the disobedient Shravan and was not in mood to sympathise even after he apologised. However, the matter was sorted out after the production team intervened.

We tried to get in touch with Sunny Leone, but she remained unavailable for comment.

#BiggBoss8 Day 32 Synopsis : Ali’s Captaincy Disrupts Decorum of the House

As the sun rises, it brings with itself a brand new day a brand new twist inside the Bigg Boss house. Captain Ali continues to dominate the house mates with his obsessive cleaning spree and disciplinarian acts. Rules duties are shuffled at every point leaving the contestants clueless and confused. While Captain Ali tries to reign over the Bigg Boss house, the experienced housemates make sure that Ali’s journey remains bumpy!

In the afternoon Bigg Boss announces the ‘Judgment Day’ task, wherein Ali is given the power to grant one wish put forth by the housemates. And along with that, Bigg Boss also gives Ali the power to punish one contestant of his liking. Ali’s decision comes as a rude shock for already irritated co-contestants who remind him at multiple occasions that Bigg Boss is the sole commander of their journey. After a long day of cat fights, arguments and bullying, contestants were finally settling in to end their tiring day in the house, when Bigg Boss introduces a brand-new task.

Launching the Cardekho.com task, Bigg Boss divided the contestants into two teams, Team A consisting of Upen, Puneet, Ali, Karishma, Minisha, Sonali and Sushant, and Team B comprising of Arya, Praneet, Gautam, Pritam, Soni and Natasha. The task required, two members from each team to participate, where they were to maneuver a cardboard cut-out of a car through an obstacle course while being blindfolded as the other contestant gave them directions. Following this, they were to assemble a jigsaw puzzle which highlighted the different features of Cardekho.com. While Upen (blindfolded) and Puneet led Team A, Team B was led by Arya (Blindfolded) and Praneet.

As the task ended, the hardworking contestants made their way to bed to get some well-deserved sleep. But some of the housemates continued to sit together and discuss about their infamous captain, Ali Quli Mirza.
