Urvashi Dholakia, who played the iconic role of Komolika Basu in 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' was recently subjected to body shaming. The pretty actress, met her friend and out of no context, he told her that she looked beautiful, but she needed to lose some weight. We had reported earlier, Ekta Kapoor is coming up with a show for Star Plus. Drashti Dhami, who was last seen in Zee TV's 'Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani' and Shaleen Malhotra are roped in to play the protagonists. Gulmohar Grand actress Aakanksha Singh was also approached to play the female lead, but finally Drashti was zeroed to play the role because the makers and the channel felt Geet Hui Sabse Parayi actress fit the bill perfectly.

Ekta Kapoor's 'Kavach... Kali Shaktiyon Se' despite of a stellar cast of Mona Singh, Vivek Dahiya and Ssara Khan failed to woo the viewers. Balaji Telefilms' popular show 'Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi' on Colors' will soon witness a new entry. We heard, Arjun Bijlani, who was last seen in SAB TV's 'Jo Biwi Se Kare Pyaar' is roped to play a prominent in the show.

According to our sources, "Arjun will be seen as a casanova lawyer and will be paired opposite Ishani (Radhika Madan) on the show."

Shakti Arora will soon start shooting for the upcoming season of popular dance reality Nach Baliye. So he is not able to give the desired times to 'Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi', that's why the makers decided to introduce a parallel lead in the show.

Initially Shaleen Bhanot was considered to play this role, but finally it was Arjun who bagged it. We tried to get in touch with Arjun, but he remained unavailable for comment.

Sony Entertainment's iconic game show Kaun Banega Crorepati is all set to wrap up soon. According to our sources, KBC will go off air in November second week.

Rashmi Sharma's show Tum Aise Hi Rehna and Shashi Sumeet Mittal's Muh Boli Shadi is expected to replace the game show, hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

Also, Balaji Telefilms' Itna Naa Karo Mujhe Pyaar is in pipeline, so might be this Rohit Roy and Pallavi Kulkarni starrer show might fill the vacuum created by Kaun Banega Crorepati.

For those uninitiated, Zalak Desai and Fahad Ali are playing the lead roles in 'Muh Boli Shadi' and Tum Aise Hi Rehna stars Kinshuk Mahajan and Shefali Sharma.

We reported earlier that Ekta Kapoor was keen to rope Paridhi Sharma, who is currently seen in Balaji telefilm’s show Jodha Akbar to play a parallel lead in Balaji Telefilms' next show on Colors.

Now we heard, Paridhi was actually approached for a cameo role in the show. But owing to Paridhi’s date issues Aparna Dixit is shortlisted to play the cameo in ‘Meri Aashiqui Tumhi Se Hai’.

Aparna, who is currently seen as Mansi in Ekta’s show Pavitra Rishta will be seen in the initial 5-6 episodes probably as Shakti Arora’s cousin.

Also, veteran actor Muni Jha is roped to play Gauri Pradhan’s husband. In the show, Gauri’s husband left her at young age, later she got married to Muni Jha.  For those uninitiated, Gauri and Muni were last seen together in ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’.

The show is set in Gujarati backdrop and is expected to launch by the end of June.
