Sara Khan and Parul Chauhan, shot to fame from Rajan Shahi’s ‘Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai’ were all set to do a cameo together in Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya, but unfortunately the sequence got scraped at the 11th hour.

“Sara-Parul, who tasted the success together once upon a time were like Siamese twins, but their bonding lasted after Bidaai. The Bidaai girls are now not on talking terms and could even stand each other,” says outsource.

Our source further added, “Producer Rajan Shahi was planning to bring the beautiful actress together in his show Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya . They have decided a dance sequence of Parul and Sara, but the script is changed at the last minute as the actresses are keen in working with each other.”

For those uninitiated, Sara and Parul were missing in the telecast party of ‘Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya’, Alok Nath, Kinshuk Mahajan, Angad Hasija and Vibha Chibber were present in the party.

Sara Khan's Dark Rainbow co-star Mayur Mehta in Rajan Shahi's next

Bidaai Girl Sara Khan was supposed to make her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Dark Rainbow’. We heard, Mayur Mehta, her co-star in that film is finalised to play parallel lead in Zee TV’s next, which will be produced by Rajan Shahi. Incidentally, Rajan was the one who introduced Sara to the glamour world.

According to our sources, “Newbie Kaanchi is shortlisted to play female lead. Waseem Mushtaq (last seen in Amrit Manthan), is also finalised to play a pivotal role. With this show Ashita Dhawan will return to the small screen after a maternity break.”

We tried contacting Mayur, but he remained unavailable for comment.

Petite Karishma Kotak, who is currently hosting IPL said, “Dinner, nice wine and a sunset is a perfect date according to me.”

When we asked Bidaai girl Sara Khan, who is currently seen as Shalu in 'Junoon - Aisi Nafrat Toh KaisaIshq’ she winked her eyes and said, “Romantic date is basically planning romance intentionally. I feel it should be a strange thing happening sorted, it should be surprising, enchanting and adventurous.” Paras (Chhabra) are you listening?

“Good place, tasty food and music followed by a long drive,” said chocolaty boy Kinshuk Mahajan.

Raj Singh (Manan of ‘Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara’) said, “Romantic date according to me is loads of love and care with little bit naughtiness. Romantic date is not only being together in a room or a restaurant, its enjoying blue sky lush green scenery, fishing and cooking together  and of course followed with glasses of wine and sex to the satisfaction. It’s enjoying full moon night on milky white bed beneath black quilt.”

Angad Hasija’s ideal date is always with his wife Pari. He said, “Perfect date according to me is beach side dinner. Beaches outside India are preferred.”  So Angad where are you taking Pari?

“For me Perfect date is where a beautiful evening is spent near a beach side under a moon light. We can have quality talks with little bit sharing of good sense of humour, great food and a glass of Sangria will add to the beauty of the date,” says Archana Taide.

Gorgeous Sonarika Bhadoria, who is gracefully portraying the role of Parvati in Life Ok’s ‘Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev said while blushing, “There’s no such idea of romantic date. I think being wrapped in the arms of the man I love wherever even if it is a parking lot would be a perfect romantic date for me.”

“My idea would be to take my girl to London and walk around near Waterloo next to London Eye because that is the most romantic place I have seen. That is what I’ll be doing soon as my girlfriend stays in London and I am going for an event there,” said Gautam Gulati who is presently seen in Diya Aur Baati Hum.

Uttaran girl Tina Duttasaid, “Rose petals showering as soon we step in. Candle light dinner followed by chocolate brownie. My boyfriend giving me a nice bouquet and a surprise peck on my cheeks makes a date more perfect.”

“Place doesn’t matter as long as you are with the one you really love,” affirms Giaa Manek.

Gautam Rode who is currently seen in Saraswatichandra said, “It should be in an open cafe on top of a hill, with light music playing in the backdrop. And no one else is there besides you and your loved one.”

Sara Khan to enter in Junoon?

Sara Khan, who shot to fame from Bidaai was last seen in Life Ok's Welcome — Baazi Mehmaan Nawaazi Ki. The actress who rumoured to return to the fiction show with second installment of Punar Vivah. Now we heard that Sara is finalized to play a meaty role in 'Junoon-Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq'.

She has already signed the dotted line and will soon start shooting for the same. She will enter in the show as one of the lead and is cast opposite to Prithvi (Aditya Redij). Upcoming track will show love traingle between Sara, Prithvi and Meera (Mouni Roy).

Sara Khan and Angad Hasija are still fondly remembered as Sadna and Alekh of Bidaai. The duo was last seen together in ‘Preet Se Bandhi Yeh Dori... Ram Milaayi Jodi’ is all set to come back together.

According to our sources, “Shashi-Sumeet Mittal’s show Punar Vivah will soon go off air and casting for the next instalment of the show is already is in full swing.  The channel started working on the new story with new leads. The new story will have nothing to do with the current story of the show featuring Gurmeet Choudhary and Kratika Sengar. The channel had approached Sara Khan and Angad Hasija to play the leads. Angad has already given green signal. If all goes well, Sara-Angad will be back together in a brand new avatar."

We tried to contact Sara and Angad, but they remained unavailable to comment.

I am not ready to do intimate scenes: Mitali Nag

The talented actress Mitali Nag is currently playing Krishna in ‘Afsar Bitiya’. She was earlier seen doing small roles in shows like ‘Mano Ya Na Mano’ and ‘Wanted-High Alert’.

A couple of days’ back I visited the sets of Zee TV’s Afsar Bitiya to meet her. When I entered the set location, I saw a girl draped in a beautiful saree. It was a full moon night and that girl was glowing like a star. She was feeding a stray cat and didn’t realize that I was standing behind her. When she turned back, she was surprised to see me there. She welcomed me with a warm smile, and asked me to wait for a while.

After waiting for a few minutes she came back and said "I'm sorry, I went to change my clothes.” She was a bright student and always scored good marks in exams and actively participated in all the activities.  She was a shy child, who never used to fight.  Sometimes when she was mistreated by other people, she used to return home crying.  Her cousin sister used to fight for her, as Mitali always failed to defend herself.

 “Though I was very shy in my childhood, my character started to change, and gradually I became outspoken.  A girl who cannot protect herself has changed a lot now. I just cannot accept injustice. I fight whenever I see anybody ill-treating or abusing me or anyone else for no reason.  Now I have become more confident women.”

 Mitali has become synonymous as Krishna, who dreamt of becoming a block development officer (BDO) and later got success after lots of drama. As a kid Mitali never dreamt to become an actor. “I never ever thought of coming in this field, though I used to sing from my childhood. My mom believes that education is must for every kid, so she always asked to concentrate on studies.  I completed my B.COM and then MBA.”

She continued, “We have an academy in Nagpur, so I was connected to drama, dancing and singing.  Everyone used to say, Mitali you must try your luck in this field. Then I moved to Mumbai and started working in a BPO for a year and a half after MBA.  Later I realized that I was made for something else and decided to join media. I think it was in my destiny to become an actress. I joined theatre group I.F.T.A and then Big Bang theatre. I polished my acting through theatre; side by side I groomed myself better for singing. I did a few reality shows for DD like ‘Khelo Khaao Jeeto’ and ‘Music Masti aur Dhoom’. Later I won ‘Bol Baby Bol’. I started doing episodics.  Finally I got a major break from ‘Afsar Bitiya’.”

It’s very difficult for a fresher to start career in acting, especially when you don’t have a God Father. Every new comer has to face lots of hurdles and almost every newcomer comes across casting couch.  Dusky actress Mitali had also undergone this, “Yes it exists. People are quite diplomatic; they do not directly say it in words, ghuma fira kar baat karte hai. They start giving hints, like what are you doing in the evening or let’s be friends.  And I always told such people that I am not here to make friends. I already have lots of friends, and I am looking forward to work. If they didn’t stop there then I stopped interacting with them.”

So is it mandatory to do compromises and say yes for casting couch? “I asked one of my friends, what should I do? I am not ready to compromise, so shall I call it quit? He said, you may or may not get work after compromising. If you are not ready for that then be patient. It will take time but slowly and gradually you will get work.  I didn’t mind waiting, but I was not ready to say yes for casting couch.”

There was a buzz that Parul Chauhan is replacing Mitali in Afsar Bitiya.  “There was an online article that said actress Parul Chauhan is going to replace me when the fact is that Parul has not even been approached,” Mitali told to one of the leading tabloid. She added, “There have been a lot of rumors floating around regarding my replacement. And I was unaware about everything; fortunately I am still part of the show that has given me name, fame, love and appreciation.”

Petite Actress was earlier associated with a production house as an executive producer and now she is all set to enter in producer’s shoes. She is co-producing a movie with his friend and Sara Khan is finalized to play the lead role. “One of my friend was planning to produce films. At that time he told me that you will be part of my film. After that I signed Afsar Bitiya, now three films produced by his production company are lined up. He asked to play the lead role, but unfortunately due to my hectic timings I was not able to act in his first film. So I am co-producing that film. Things are still on paper, ground work is going on.”

While ending the interview, the last thing I asked whether she is ready to do intimate scenes in the films. “I can’t even imagine myself to do steamy scenes in films or serials. I think I am still a little bit conservative,” quips Mitali. She ended our conversation with a smile. It was 10 p.m. and one could easily notice the glitter in her eyes, she was still glowing like a rising sun.

I never smooched a girl: Sara Khan

Sara Khan carved a niche for herself in the tellyland with her role as Sadhna in Bidaai and Mona in Ram Milayi Jodi. She is back into the limelight for another false reason just because of her recent Blackberry display picture.

A couple of days ago she kept a display picture on her blackberry in which she was kissing her friend Pooja Bose.

When confronted the actress said, “I received a call from some reporter and she said, ‘We have a photograph in which you and Pooja are lip locked and kissing each other.” I was surprised because I never smooched a girl. So I said, if you really have such a photograph then might be it’s some other girl or it is morphed.”

She went ahead and said, “I was shocked when one of my friend showed me the photograph about which that reporter is talking. Pooja is good friend of mine; I accept she did touch my lips with her lips for few seconds. I don’t think there is anything wrong in it.”

If it was your picture then why you denied it in first place? “Well the reporter asked me about the picture in which I am smooching Pooja. We never got indulged in any such act so I denied. Instead of making news on my Blackberry display picture why can’t media write about my work? I have my personal life and I am free to have fun with my friends”, signed out Sara angrily.

An Evergreen Vogue : Turn Sisters Into Sisters-In-Law

The TV world is known as a religious follower of a trend. A fashion started today will be followed by numerous writers for ages.

If I am not wrong this idea of two sisters turning into sisters-in-law was brought up by none other than the Daily Soaps Queen ‘Ekta Kapoor’ herself in her show ‘Kundali’. When the sweet and loving sisters ‘Aarti’ (Nivedita Bhattacharya) and ‘Vidhi’ (Prachi Shah) became sister-in-law that too the elder became younger and younger turned into elder; the audience was quite amazed and shocked at the same time. This concept garnered lots of TRP’s to the channel as the audience could do nothing but stay glued to their TV screens.

This fashion abandoned for some time came back in action again when the renowned producer ‘Rajan Shahi’ gave birth to ‘Sadhna’ (Sara Khan) and ‘Ragini’ (Parul Chauhan). The magic was once again spread on TV screen by these soul sisters. Destiny and the script writer together turned these soul sisters into sisters-in-law again younger becoming elder and elder becoming younger. The show ‘Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai’ was undoubtedly a massive hit. The show still has a great fan following and the fans still hope for a sequel for the serial even after almost 1 and half year of shutdown of the show.

After Bidaai, this trend had no looking back. Writers one after another used this concept in their story. The serials which initially didn’t have this element in them also brought in this concept to attain some TRP’s.

Color’s show ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ is one perfect example to prove this. A story which was supposed to be a light hearted comedy also adopted this vogue so as to lead the TRP charts by turning the sweet and chubby ‘Roli’ (Avika Gor) into the elder sister-in-law of calm and lovely ‘Simar’ (Dipika Samson).

The Story does not end here. The very popular and in-demand show ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ was also seen to have followed the same path when the sisters ‘Khushi’ (Sanaya Irani) and ‘Payal’ (Deepali Pansare) got married in the same household and became sisters-in-law.
Another show ‘Sasural Genda Phool’ also could not resist itself from using this vogue and thus in its last episode the sisters ‘Suhana’ (Ragini Khanna) and ‘Sanjana’ (Tapeshwari Sharma) fulfilled this trend by getting hooked up as sisters-in-law.

These were a few examples where the sisters didn’t remain sisters so as to bring in the TRP’s. But the interesting fact to look forward is that whether the serial solely made for the sisters will also diverge the sisters into sisters-in-law or not.

Made for one another ‘Jeevika’ (Krystle Dsouza) and ‘Maanvi’ (Nia Sharma) share an inseparable bond. This serial ‘Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ has generated a place for itself in the hearts of millions in very short period of time. The show is immensely popular among youngsters, females and surprisingly males as well. The show is doing well as of now and the credit goes to the new approach being put, simplicity, no high drama and last but not at all least the blood tie of the soul sisters. But the question is that whether these sisters will also change their relation. Well the answer is quite obvious as already the brother-in-law of Jeevika is in love with Maanvi so we can soon expect the changes following this story as well.

The Vogue started by the queen of Tellywood has been followed religiously and will be followed for years. Let’s wait and watch that which serial becomes a hit and which serial becomes a miss despite adapting the ever green trend.

Is Ali Mercchant in a relationship?

Ali Mercchant was recently seen in Life OK’s ‘Sach Ka Saamna’.

In one of the recent interview actor's ex-wife Sara Khan(Check: Past is gone),  put a full stop from the possibility of getting back together, “We both moved on, I am happy single and will soon find my prince charming and Ali is in a relationship.”

Sara’s statement about Ali’s relationship left fans rolling their eyes.  Gossipers started carving to find about Ali’s love interest.

He denied being in a relationship and said love will have to wait... well the wait for love is already over Ali.

A few days ago to tease Ali his friends started congratulating him on their Blackberry status.  Started with blackberry status update the rumours about Ali’s engagement began to spread like wildfire. At that time we contacted Ali, who denied getting engaged. We then updated the news on Scrutiny’s fan page and promised to reveal the details. So we are going to let the cat out of the bag here..

Her name is Jinita, she is Fashion Photographer and editor by profession.  After completing her graduation from Natcoll Institute of Technology, Auckland, she started looking for work in India.
Ali and Jineeta become good friends since they met at a common friend’s party.  They eventually began to bond and started dating. Love birds were spotted together in Nandish Sandhu’s birthday bash and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai success party. The two have been attending the social events and parties together ignoring the prying eyes.

When we contacted Ali, he denied being romantically involved with Jinita and said they are *just* friends.

All our efforts to contact Jinita were in vain.

Past is gone : Sara Khan

Sara Khan got married to Ali Mercchant on national TV while they were in Bigg Boss house. After they they got divorced, recently Ali participated in ‘Sach Ka Saamna’ where he accepted few dark secrets.

Sara Khan recently joined networking site. Yesterday she updated her status on her official fan page AAPKI SARA KHAN, “Some respect for Ali Merchant, we all have dark secrets. But it takes a man to confront them in front of the whole world. I respect you Ali to accept your faults. Though there was no need but since you have done it I RESPECT.  Past is gone :) ”

When we contacted her, she smiled and said, “Past is past, I believe we should move if things don’t go the way we planned.  Ali is in a relationship and I am happy single.”

Ali said, “We need to move on from a relationship when it expires.”

Lets wish both Ali and Sara good luck for future endeavors.

Failing to garner TRPs, the Zee TV show is tipped to go off air on April 2nd...

Rajita Sharma’s ‘Preet Se Bandhi Ye Dori Ram Milaayi Jodi’ underwent a lot of changes after its launch.

Sara Khan was introduced as replacement of Priyal Gor, Nishant Malkani left the show and was replaced by Sujay Reu. To add missing pinch of salt Sara Khan’s Bidaai co-star Angad Hasija was brought.  After this high drama, Sujay who was playing male lead Anukalp died. Aditya (Angad) and Mona (Sara) got married.

The twists and turns brought in have not garnered high ratings, and the latest is that the show is on the way out and finally prepares for its last telecast. The show is all set to draw curtains by on 2nd April, 2012.

Confirming our news, Sara Khan says, "Yes, it is true that Ram Milayi Jodi is going off air in the first week of April. I believe that all good things have to come to an end. I am going to miss my RMJ team; it was a wonderful experience working with Rajita ji.”

I am pretty sure Sara-Angad fans must be crying foul as they didn’t have opportunity to rejoice the union of the Bidaai Jodi for enough time.
